I tried to cancel that order and re ordered for the extra delivery fee of $5,10c
It arrived on time. (Thanks Jimmy brings )
My other order I requested cancelled didn’t get cancelled and hasn’t arrived still after 6 days.
What a load of rubbish.
And even after a store visit I couldn’t cancel the order.
Now I’m expected to be available on Monday between 8am - 12 pm
What A crap service this is,
If I’m at work. They will return the item to the store. And I will need to pick it up as it can’t be refunded.

The store manager CAMERON was rude and…
The store manager CAMERON was rude and refused to serve me at the counter because I had opened a can of beer to taste as I was advised by their own staff to open and taste it before buying the whole carton. He also refused to serve a unrelated customer because he assumed I was with her. His actions were motivated purely by revenge and discrimination. Very disappointing experience at Dan Murphys. Will file a complain formally to not to have this sort of senseless people as managers which ruin the whole shopping experience of customers. I will also write about my experience in all the blogs and review sites just to make sure that they stay away from the store manager CAMERON.
Irresponsible
Raised safety/security concerns to Dan Murphy’s on 3 June 2023. On 18 June followed-up requesting response. It’s now 22 July and 7 weeks later there has still been no response. Not good enough.
Disgusting service, wont go back
Refused service because I let my teenages be my trolley. It wasn’t so much that they refused me service it was more the way it was done. Even though this woman come up and told me they couldn’t hold it, made us go get a trolley. Let us continue shopping then at the check out refused me service! Ridiculous!

Disability unfriendly
I am visually impaired, I cannot navigate the website well, even my friends with full site, say that the site is a nightmare. I then ring Dan Murphys for answers to find out if the store I want to go to has what I want, I get a message to tell me that the service centre is closed and to go back to the website. This is extremely unhelpful. There are some elderly people who are not computer literate, they wouldn’t know how to get onto the site either. If Dan Murphys want to continue to make good profits, they should put their efforts into continuing to maintain. a phone service, which is there to answer our questions, rather than discriminating against people who are elderly or disabled and are unable to use the website.

On Thursday 12th April 2018 I bought an Edenvale Sparkling Cuvee so I could open it to celebrate my 41st Birthday tonight while I am eating New York Cheesecake with Colleen before going to bed.
I placed an online order for delivery
I placed an online order for delivery. They attempted to deliver on 16/5, but as I wasn't at home they didn't leave it. I was left a card and asked to go online and arrange re-delivery which would happen before 6pm the next day, and asking to redirect if not at home. I arranged for delivery to my friend who lives next door and is home all day. Still nothing received on Wed. I contacted the courier customer service online as you cannot speak with anyone, and I got an automated response that a ticket had been raised and I would receive notification within the next 24-72 hours. I then called Dan Murphy and I cannot speak to a person either. I had to go online and speak to the Dan Bot via message, and then after a lot of back and forth Dan Bot put me through to a live person, that I also cannot speak with unless over chat. They contacted the courier company who assured us they would deliver by Friday. Still nothing. I called Dan Murphy again on Friday, who said they had escalated the matter and I would receive my delivery on Monday!!! It is now Tuesday, I still have not received my delivery, I am still getting the automated responses from the courier and Dan Murphy's still can't assure me 100% that I am going to now receive my delivery tomorrow. They also cannot advise what action they will take should this happen other than I need to once again go on the Dan Murphy chat and do it all over again.

Disappointment with a recent promotion that was advertised by Dan Murphy’s in Western Australia. The promotion offered a special reward of a 1 x Gold can hidden in some packages of a VB Bitter, but when I tried to purchase it online, I discovered that it was out of stock in the entire region of WA.
What really exacerbated the situation was that the promotion was heavily promoted, which only heightened my excitement and anticipation. It truly felt (and still am) like it’s a very cruel tease to promote any reward that couldn't be obtained due to a lack of stock.
As a loyal customer of Dan Murphy’s, I find it frustrating to be let down by a promotion that's not available in a given area, especially when it's advertised so prominently. I hope that in the future, the company will take stock availability into consideration before launching such promotions, so that customers do not end up disappointed.
I'm writing this negative review, because I cannot find any feature on your website to place a backorder for these promoted items when they are out of stock or receive any notification when they become available in the future. It's frustrating to see that Dan Murphy’s website doesn't offer such a service, which is commonly provided by other e-commerce websites.

I ordered and paid for wine etc on 20/04/2023. They reckon delivery 2 to 4 business days. BUT their subcontractors only work Monday to Friday, yet Dan Murphys operate 7 days per week. They state business days, but they in fact operate 7 days per week, they do not state their subcontractors work 5 days per week. I have had so much trouble with their deliveries, it is not funny.
If I could give zero stars - terrible delivery service
If I could give zero stars, I would. Two aborted delivery attempts. When I was finally able to speak to someone, the driver's "excuse" (Dan Murphy's customer agent's word) was that the driver couldn't find parking. What a joke. The driver can't find parking so aborts delivery? Don't delivery drivers "look" for parking? And I arranged my day, staying home, for 4-hour delivery window. I would not recommend Dan Murphy's for delivery.
Customer Service
I visited the store located at 3085 Marriott Waters and was served by a very helpful worker called Sandeep, whom I had mutiple great experiences being served by her in the past. From my experience she has great communication and people skills, that encouraged me to continue purchashing from this specific store. She was very knowledgeable in her expertise on what product would suit my taste and I enjoyed talking to her, due to her friendly nature and respectful approach.

Delivery Drivers not delivering - lying about no one home because they are lazy
Absolutely disgusted in Dan Murphy's delivery Service. I work, that's how I afford to buy alcohol... I organised with much difficulty a day to work from home to accept delivery. then in the afternoon I got a message to say they tried to deliver there was an issue.... I WAS AT HOME CAN SEE MY GATE FROM MY DESK (and hear it) NO ONE OPENED MY GATE OR CAME TO MY DOOR... Delivery returned to depot as no one home!!!! WT absolute Ferk! .... I cannot buy the purchase in store, they will only deliver it!! If they can actually get a delivery driver to get out of the car and go see if anyone is home - like at the front door!!! An unlocked gate should not be a roadblock for a lazy assed delivery person! I'd like to see them hauled over the coals for this, absolutely furious :( I purchased over $230 worth of goods... have now purchased elsewhere - I can only imagine it will take a week or more to get my refund! So very disappointed in Dans... I'll never shop there again, I'd rather pay a bit more for an actual product.

Not happy with Dan Murphy's!! Viewed an online members only special price for a particular wine. Went in to my local store and was told we could buy it direct instore without going online. The employee looked up the product on the computer and told me it was not available for that price, even though it was broadly advertised on the internet. His excuse was that the specials are sometimes only available for certain stores or states. Bull crap. Told him l could buy it at my local Harry Brown Liquor store for a a similar price. He again went on line and said " no that is not the price-it is $4 more" But l said it is advertised for 6 for $60. No, sorry that does not correspond with my search. It leads me to believe that there online information varies to the customers seach informationyet l thought the internet is the same for all. Does this mean they doctor the information in the hope that you will pay the price and not be bothered to go eslewhere? So l went to Harry Browns Liquor and guess what? I bought the wine for the advertised price and also received a $10 off next purchase coupon and an entry into their current cash promotional draw. So Dan Murphy - "stick your business up you no where", as this consumer has lost all confidence in your business practices and will not return.

I ordered a dark beer to be picked up in our store in Engadine. 2 days later I am still waiting to be told it is ready for pick up.
Nothing. With talk to Murphy who is not being available to talk about my problem, I hunt around and find my order has been cancelled. The product is still available online so I wish to know what has happened. No contact at all to inform me whatsoever. I am moving to another outlet that looks after their clients.
Joondalup Dan Murphy - No Common Sense
Joondalup - no common sense at all. Went in - me, husband, son (nearly 19). Loaded our trolly and went to purchase. They wouldn't serve me because when asked if our son might drink some of this, we replied honestly with yes, they said he needed his ID. He wasnt paying. He didnt have his actual ID as was only with us as we have just been to the gym store with him a few doors down. They wouldnt accept his digital copy ID. Had we said no he wouldn't be drinking it, then it would have been ok. Where has common sense gone. Had he been 12 yrs old, they would never has asked us and we would have walked away with the purchase. We all live together. He has his own membership with them, which they gave him once they had viewed his ID on a prior visit. Just bonkers that all they want to say is 'it's the rules, we dont make the rules, we cant help it'. Whatever happened to common sense.

I was treated with disrespect at Dan Murphy Gladesville.I took a bottle of wine back that was off.My receipt was faded and ripped so she refused to swop the bad wine for a new one .She was very sarcastic put me down humiliated me in front of other customers.I am an elderly professional lady .I spend lots of money at DM never taken anything back in my life to be treated in such an appalling way was humiliating and embarrassing.I left in tears .Another customers saw me crying in the carpark and said She is a nasty one go to Fair Trading about this . DM needs to be accountable to allow a bully to use their position of power to make you feel upset. I now have a witness who saw this.This is unprofessional behaviour
