Amazing Service

Placed a click and collect order. Website was super easyt to use - got to store early and my order was ready to collect. Very friendly and porfessional staff. Service and manner is to be commended - and a LOT better than others in the same sector. BTW - this was at the Warrnambool store.

Absolute shit service

Absolute shit service. Went in with my son who DID NOT TOUSH A THING!!! AND WAS REFUSED SERVICE.DUE HIM NOT HAVING ANY I.D. WHEN HE WASNT THE ONE PURCHASING!! THE SAME OUTLET I FREQUENT MULTIPLE TIMES PER WERK. THAT WOYLD BE THE NERANG STORE. SORRY. BUT YOU HAVE LOST MY BUSINESS.

Shocking Customer Service In Store and Online
I'm writing to express my frustration with a recent online purchase. I ordered one dozen bottles of wine, one bottle of Scotch whisky, and two bottles of La Plancheliere French Craft Pink Gin (700ml) today at 11:55 AM. I traveled 57 km to your Wangaratta store with my disabled husband, expecting a smooth pickup experience.

Upon arriving, I found one bottle of gin was missing from my order, which no one informed me of when handing the order over - Upon querying this fact the store manager, informed me they only had one available but no one had intended to let me know. I was outraged that I received no prior notification about the incomplete order, as I would not have made the trip for just one bottle, especially since BWS is much closer to my home.

I also inquired about my $46 refund for the missing item, but have yet to receive any confirmation. After waiting in the store for 38 minutes, I finally received a note from Susan from the Endeavour Group saying my refund would be processed eventually, which was disappointing.

The lack of professionalism from the store manager was unacceptable; her sarcastic remarks and dismissive attitude were highly inappropriate.

Who wants to save cents, when everyone beats DM on Customer Service!

Last week I tried to find out how long my DM Brighton would hold a Click&Collect order. After not getting anywhere via DM’s phone number (can you believe no option allows you to talk to a human as all of them end up with ‘talk to our bot’ - or more like ‘talk to the hand’ but different story), I wanted to share the feedback with the store manager on duty.
A result young lady stopped me after 2 sentences by saying ‘That’s not us. That’s central and there is nothing I can do!’. No sorry for the experience or a slight sign of empathy. As I tried to explain that there is no one else to call, I was told the same. Another young assistant stepped in as well, to even more forcefully repeat the message: ‘Not Us!’. I asked for the real store manager to call me maybe on the following Monday and my name and number were reluctantly taken with the comment ‘He might not call you as it’s the same response, I gave you.’ – yes, and he didn’t call.
Finally, then asking for my click & collect and was told to go around to the drive-through. I pointed out that on the email is said in-store or via the drive-through and that right above her head is the sign ‘Pickup here’ but I was told that’s wrong and ‘there are changes’. Again, no apology or even some pretend-empathy….

Is this a sign that the new generation of so-called store managers seem to just wear the title but not the responsibilities or what it means to deliver customer service?
There are so many older clerks in the store who are always helpful, but the management is failing in-style.

Where’s our delivery? Still in a van somewhere.

There’s no where to provide feedback directly to Dan’s so here we are.
For the love of God, fix your back end ordering and delivery. Get a delivery partner that can perform their role by actually attempting to deliver by using the door bell. Why on earth is a delivery man getting paid for his job if he doesn’t know how to deliver? Two attempts, my arse.
Next, please invest in problem solving training skills for live chat agents - I gave Simon plenty of suggestions of how he could give me a suitable solution. Yet, he was as useless as a screen door on a submarine. I have to manage performance enough in my own job, I shouldn’t have to uplift the performance of Dan’s staff as a customer. The outcome? Now I need to stay home for a third time for another inevitable failed delivery attempt at a week late birthday present. Onya Dan’s.

Don't use this platform.

I don't trust this site as they have taken the money and failed to deliver. What makes it worse is that there is no avenue to do discuss the issues and no one has returned my attempts to contact them in over 2 weeks.

online chat bot is an idiot - still cannot get to a real person.

I recommend NOT using Dan Murphys - there is absolutely NO customer service.

Dan Murphy no longer stocks Vok (except triple sec)or continental varieties. Very disappointed that I couldn’t get the liqueurs to make favourite cocktails. I recommend buying on line if you have time to wait for delivery. I went to Dan Murphy, first choice and bws and all didn’t stock Our population has grown but choices have diminished.

Leaving one star as I could not leave…

Leaving one star as I could not leave zero. Beware, they will take your money and not deliver. I have a case of champagne I ordered and the tracking had it as left depot for 21 days! They go round in circles and then wish you an amazing new year and claim they are genuine and they won't release the goods you have paid for. Their customer service is deplorable.

Dan Murphy’s has limited range now

Dan Murphy’s used to stand out due to their range of drinks. Admittedly they have a good range of wine, but have dropped the ball on their spirits and liqueur ranges. No Vok, Steinbok or similar liqueur range anymore. No range from Newcastle Distilling. No reason to shop there anymore - will get it online direct, I just wish I had known before Xmas! I get rewards points at BWS that is more convenient to get to.

Well they’ve done it again, I ordered a case of beer and a bottle of Dubliner yesterday and paid $15 for a 2 hour delivery at about 2pm, the Dubliner came but no beer, I chased it up with them twice and was told it would be there in 2 hours. True to form they didn’t show up, didn’t call, no contact what so ever. It’s Xmas day and I have no beer. Thanks again to Dan Murphy’s for clearing demonstrating that you really couldn’t give a toss

I purchased Frangelica because it was…I thought on sale

I purchased Frangelica because it was on special - as pointed out by staff member. The checkout girl asked if I were a member and I said I did not think so. On getting home I find I paid full price whereas if either staff member had informed me that membership was free I could joined and received the price I expected. Poor customer service.

RECKLESS DELIVERY DRIVER DAMAGES OUR PROPERTY

If I could give DM a negative review I would! Placed an online order for my husbands 50th, the driver (caught on our security cameras) drove RECKLESSLY down the wrong side of our street and DAMAGED OUR PROPERTY. Lodged a complaint and after waiting 2 months for a response, Management claim that they will not compensate us for the repair as the damage was done to the nature strip, which is owned by the Council. The Council didn’t pay for the repairs, we had to as the homeowners!! Appalling!

Outstanding customer service.

I did an online order for Christmas drinks - wine, bubbles and a carton of beer. When the courier delivered my order, he mentioned that one of the cartons seemed to be leaking. I had a look and it was the carton of beer that was leaking. It also had a jagged hole in the side of the carton. When I opened it one of the bottles was smashed, it was the bottle right in line with the hole. I looked on the Dan Murphy's website and my heart sank a bit when I saw that I needed to use their chatbot thing, I don't do well with chatbots! But I got myself a cuppa and started what I thought would be a long, drawn out process. Nope! The customer service person (Julia) was absolutely lovely, she apologised for the damaged delivery and offered me a replacement or a refund. I said I'd prefer a replacement, and Julia asked if I was going to be home that night (I was) as if I was she would arrange delivery for that same night. Julia also said I would receive an email with details of the replacement order and a tracking number for it. The email arrived within 10 minutes of finishing the chat, and there was another apology. Less than 2 hours later a replacement carton arrived. Now in my, and I would think anyone's book, that is outstanding customer service. Thanks Julia and Dan Murphy's, love your prices, your range and I'm tickled pink with your customer service as well :-)

Avoid Dan Murphy's Gifting Hub-an embarrassment

Avoid Dan Murphy's Gifting Hub. Order never delivered. You can not telephone to enquire but must send a message via a 'live chat' that has no one at the other end and they endeavour to get back to you in the next business day. Absolute rubbish customer service left me embarrassed with the gift recipient.

Price match guarantee scam

Went in store and grabbed two 700ml bottles of jack Daniels. $54.95 each. I asked for the price match of an online store that was selling jack for just on $47. manager said we can match it but have to charge me for delivery! I said are you serious? She said the other store is an online store I said so what, that meets the conditions of price match, its on Murphys website. Absolute disgrace as a manager and rude as. So much for dud Murphys price match. Fair trading should investigate this mob. Anyone notice Murphys doesn't have the decency to respond or reply to these complaints. I haven't been back since
