Poor Customer Service
Telephoned 4 times before I managed to get through. Left a voicemail - no call back. When I finally managed to speak to someone they stated that they were not doing anymore viewings despite the property only coming on the market yesterday. I was a cash buyer with no chain but they were not bothered stating everyone is a cash buyer. Rude!!

The current market is very busy and we understand that can be an immense source of frustration for buyers but that does not take away from the high standards of service we aspire to and which are reflected in our overall service rating.

My mum recently passed away and we had to sell her apartment. It was a very tricky place to sell as it was partly owned by a housing association. One of the other estate agents in ilkley really devalued it and even scoffed saying in future they may refuse to sell these apartments.
However I went with Dacres in Ilkley. They were so kind and understanding. They did all the viewings for me. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely go back to them in the future. Thank you Paul, Vicki and the rest of the team

Ilkley Office mess purchasers about. Despite us being told our offer was the highest, which was way above the asking price - they wanted us to go to final and best offers using our offer (which we said was best and final when given) as a leverage to up the price. Utter charlatans; no doubt they told other prospective purchasers how far they were off the mark too! We withdrew-purchasers need to stop falling into this trap as no doubt the others left didn’t know the revised situation.

We are disappointed to hear your frustrations but please note that it is the sellers’ decision to take offers through to best and final offers and like most estate agents it is not our practice to disclose third party bids to other interested buyers – hence the privacy involved in sealed bids.
