Terrible customer service..
I was looking for an SP4RJ and this company sold it for €356 including shipping which was a super good price. I made my order on the 30th of March and this is how it went.
When I made my order I was charged €10,68 in fees to make the order. That's crazy compared to rates anywhere else. I still made the order though and thought everything was fine. Then I checked my bank account and I see that I've been charged €380,30 because paypal (their chosen payment gateway) converted euroes at a much higher rate than the market rate that both Google and my bank reported to me. Sigh..I was so close to canceling the order, but I thought "what the heck now it's done so I'll just wait for my cue". How I regret I didn't.
The 5th of April I receive this email from cuesports.
"Hello Martin, thanks for your order now.
Here you get a confirm again and we got your Paypal payment!
The cues arrives today but only the version with wrap, all other are sold out and will never be produced again, so I must give the highest version to you now ok. Don't worry, that plays the game as good and looks the same as a Bar Cue :-)
We can prepare your package now and send you all to your postal adress."
Now...the usual thing would be NOT to charge the customer before the item has been shipped, I checked my bank account and my money went from reserved to charged on the 2th of April(!).
The usual thing would also NOT be to pick another item when the ordered item isn't available and assume the customer is cool with it.
I didn't want a Sneaky Pete with linen and I immediately wrote an email where I canceled my order. I receive no response on two emails. I check my order on their website and it just says "processing"..a status that remains unchanged after 4 weeks. I've still not received any reply from them and they still haven't transferred my money back.
In the end I talked to my bank and they reported it as fraud, and that's how I got my money back.
I would never recommend anyone to shop at cuesports.de for the above reasons, and also the fact that they _still_ sell the cues they claim are unavailable and never will be. Keep far away.
