If you’re applying to the RCMP or just…
If you’re applying to the RCMP or just need a basic eye exam, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
Their prices are significantly higher than other clinics. If you look online, places like Kodak offer eye exams and RCMP vision forms for around 20% less.
On top of that, the experience was unprofessional. I had to wait 20 minutes just for their equipment to charge so I could complete my vision test—something that should have been ready beforehand. I had booked my appointment a full day in advance and clearly explained that I needed the RCMP form completed, so they had more than enough time to prepare.
It got worse during the exam. After the doctor put in eye drops, he told me to wait about 15 minutes and even suggested I step outside for a short walk. As I was about to leave, the owner, Helen, stopped me and raised her voice, saying I couldn’t leave without paying first. I asked her to confirm with the doctor, and once she realized the misunderstanding, there was no apology.
Overall, the service felt disorganized and unprofessional. If you value your time and expect basic professionalism, I would recommend going elsewhere.
Not sure this is because of where they from or what but they need to learn how to serve Canadians the proper way and apologize when they at fault
