Totally a scam company

Credit Verify is a scam company. Do not deal with them at all. They fraudulently get you to give them a credit card # and then you have to fight with them to cancel and get a refund. DO NOT DEAL WITH CREDIT VERIFY

Credit Verify Subscription Scam

This company charged me $1.00 for a credit check. I did so. Then about 5 days later I found a charge of USD 34.95 for a subscription I did not sign up for. I contacted my credit card company and lodged a dispute complaint. They determined that I had not authorized the charge. They were successful. I got an email from Credit Verify stating that I would get a full refund, and I did. They offered no apologies though.

Surprise subscription, deceiving website

This website starts you on a monthly subscription. You need to call in to cancel it. The website is deceiving about the cancelation process. There's a button that says unsubscribe but then there's a pop up that tells you that you need to call in. It's purposefully easy to miss.

I will be calling my bank if i don't…

I will be calling my bank if i don't get my refund back.
I singed up and clearly the ID protection fee is there to make people accidentally press on it and not have any way to get your money back.

i called and you guys offered me 20% back for the ID protection fee and 75% back for the $35 dollar monthly subscription fee. That is just unacceptable, i own multiple businesses and i don't even do people like that.

I got scammed by them by a fake job opportunity

These scammers are preying on people everywhere. They display fake job interviews where they ask you to pass a credit check. Once done, you are locked and billed a huge amount and there are no ways to cancel. Their phone line is just an answering informing you they are closed for Chrismas. Had to contact my credit card to report them as a fraud

Fraudulent Charges

You have charged my account NUMEROUS TIMES despite me requesting you cancel my account since December of 2023. I have tried calling your billing team multiple times but I receive the same message saying your office is closed for the New Year holiday. It is now January 31st and I am still receiving the SAME MESSAGE. I have emailed and attempted to reach out multiple times on your website and I have not heard a single thing back. Refund me for my most recent payment and cancel my account and I will leave you alone. What you are doing is FRAUD.

Legitimate thieves, Stay Away from them .

I was trying to apply for a loan when this company was suggested. It was like just sign up for a small fee for credit monitoring , which I naively did without reading the fingerprint . There you go , they went ahead , charged me $9.50 and then within 2 days , they charged additional $35 to my credit card within just few days . Sounds like an hungry company looking to take an every dime on people hands. I called to ask for a refund , they refused to refund my credit for $45 bugs. This guys are predators , they are nothing but frauders. Any company that doesn’t refund clients when they are not can’t be trusted by public. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!.

I would never would of signed up for…

I would never would of signed up for this program, but I was applying for a loan and I had to sign up in order to continue with the loan application. I should of stopped there. I feel duped and taken advantage of. I never heard back about the loan and there was no way to contact the loan company. I called today and explained what had happened and they refused to give me a refund for the thirty some dollars that they took from my account.

Paid the $1 trial

Paid the $1 trial, then cancelled the membership within the hour and still got hit with a $34.95 membership. Finally got a hold of someone and they offered me 5% of the money they took from my account, and after a a bit they said they’d give me half of the money back. Will I see the refund? I’m honestly not going to hold my breath. These bottom feeders obviously make their living scamming folks.

I never signed up for a subscription

I never signed up for a subscription. I have called to cancel three times and get the run around. They hide behind twisting the law to scam people in need during these hard times from researching the criminal business. After cancelling first when I received an email in august for a subscription I didn’t sign up for. I was told in email they would cancel it, only to then be told after I was charged I need to call to confirm cancellation. Again for a fraudulent use of my information.

SCAM AND PETTY TOO!!!!

I never give reviews for companies, but this is gonna be my first because y'all got in my deepest nerve today. If there's a way to give 0 star, I would! I called Credit verify on Nov 29th to cancel my subscription, they agreed! They sent me a confirmation email stating that they've cancelled my account on that day, only to get charged $34.95 today (Dec 20) again! I called them and they said "oh we have a company policy to refund just 25% but because you called in Nov to cancel, we'll give you a 75% refund." That there is total bullocks! That there is 100% your company's fault! I have all records! Your company failed to deactivate my account as I sternly requested, and you have the guts to talk about company policy?? What about implying a new policy that states "We'll cancel/deactivate client accounts as soon as they ask, without trying to sell ridiculous 'benefits' to them in order to convince them to stay"?? Y'all better send my $34.95 back to my account immediately!!! Scammers! Y'all want to be petty? I'll show you what petty is. I've got enough time(obviously). Your customer service claiming not to hear me on the phone while I can hear them all in the background giggling. Lawd Fada! If I don't get my money ASAP, I'm coming back here to leave another review. Scam Company

Signed up for a free one-week trial. Charged me 9.95 without authorization. I have been trying to cancel my subscription and no one answers the phone. There's no way to cancel online. Just a straight-up scam.

Insanely fraudulent

This company is a major scam!!! I cancelled right away after signing up. That wasn't enough - the website says you must call the company to cancel! I called multiple times to no avail. They charged my account over $279.57 over the past 8 months!! I have a family to feed and work minimum wage; this is outrageous.

STAY AWAY!!
The website is disingenuous. They are predators! I will be contacting my bank and informing them of this fraudulent company.

Edit: December 4th, 2023: I signed up for a dollar for one week and cancelled on the site due to not needing the service - charges were still made to my account monthly. I called the service today and they basically laughed, stating they cannot do anything for me. $279! I did not use the service, and I had it cancelled the same week. Credit Verify: you should be ashamed. I need my money returned in the full amount of $279.57. Not just the one month. Ridiculous.

December 14/2023 Update: Still did not receive a full refund and the manager stopped emailing me. Do not trust this company. Many people have been scammed. They aren't a real company; it's purely fraudulent. Stay away.
