This was my first time ordering from Couture Candy, and I was a little nervous because it was an expensive dress for my daughter’s graduation. However, my experience was very positive overall.

I chose the 3-day shipping option, and they delivered exactly as promised. This was especially important because I needed to travel to my home country and take the dress with me on time. The financing option through Sezzle was also very helpful and made the purchase much easier.

The dress was beautiful, true to size, and exactly what we expected. The quality and design were lovely.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the dress was packed very tightly for shipping. The compression flattened the layers of the skirt, preventing the dress from having the beautiful flow and fullness it should have had. Additionally, the dress was longer than expected and will likely require alterations.

Other than that, Couture Candy was reliable, offered convenient financing options, and delivered on time. I would definitely consider purchasing from them again. 😊

I was honestly nervous ordering such a heavily discounted designer gown, but I couldn't be happier. The dress arrived exactly as described and is absolutely beautiful in person. The sequin detailing is stunning, the color is vibrant and rich, and the overall construction feels high-quality and professional—not cheap or flimsy at all.
The material is comfortable with a bit of stretch, which makes it much easier to wear than many formal gowns. I intentionally ordered a size up because I fit between sizes and wanted to make sure it fit through the hips. It fits perfectly through the hips and lower body, and I only need a small alteration to take in the top, which I fully expected.
Shipping was fast, the gown arrived in excellent condition, and I was thrilled to receive an authentic Portia & Scarlett dress for such an amazing clearance price. I would absolutely shop here again and highly recommend both the dress and Couture Candy. It exceeded my expectations.

I caution everyone to shop elsewhere! Their return policy is so convoluted and expensive that it is not worth shopping here! It cost me around $100 to return a $279 dress! They do not include all the specifics on their website so I called to verify costs for a possible return and was given a figure that I was later told was a "misunderstanding." It amazes me that they are still in business!! I thought I did my due diligence but clearly didn't and learned the hard way! Hope I can help others not make the same mistake! Shop at a reputable place that refunds returns!

Buyers Beware!

Although this company offers a large selection of attractive dresses, the product images do not always accurately reflect the items customers receive. The dress I ordered looked beautiful online, but the product delivered was of noticeably lower quality and significantly different from what was advertised.
I ordered a pink Jovani dress with a specific pattern, but instead received a multicoloured JVN by Jovani dress, which is a completely different product line.

Prior to shipment, I specifically contacted the company and asked them to verify the correct dress, size, and colour because I was ordering internationally for a wedding and could not afford the time or expense of a return. They assured me that the correct item would be sent, yet they still shipped the wrong dress.

As a result of their mistake, I paid $193 for the dress, $75 for shipping, and approximately $30 in import taxes. Returning the dress would cost me an additional $100 or more. Despite acknowledging that they sent the incorrect item, the company refused to provide a prepaid return label and instead insisted on enforcing their standard return policy.

It is unreasonable to expect a customer to absorb these costs when the error was entirely on the company's side. By the time I return the dress, I would have spent more on shipping and taxes than the value of the dress itself.

The customer service experience has been extremely disappointing. Rather than taking responsibility and offering a fair resolution, the company chose to rely on its return policy despite admitting its mistake.

Before purchasing, I strongly encourage potential buyers to research customer feedback, including BBB complaints and online reviews. Avoid purchasing from this shop if possible as you don't have to experience what I went through. This is not a reliable shop. With over 87 complaints and numerous negative reviews, my experience unfortunately appears far from unique. I have made many online purchases over the years, and this has been by far the worst customer service experience I have encountered.

The dress came very quickly and was gorgeous! But it was a tad too small for me when I tried it on.

My dress came in great condition and efficiently.

My daughter is getting married in the fall and the bridesmaids ordered all their dresses from couture candy and the experience was great so I decided to give it a try.I ordered a Jovani dress it arrived within two days. It was exactly as described beautiful and in perfect condition. And I actually just ordered another dress that hopefully I will be receiving within a couple of days. Great great company highly recommend.

Shady return policy. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. RIP OFF. I would have given a zero star but it does not allow.
It does not state on the website that the dress is not returnable. The policy says you need RMA authorization. When I requested the RMA, they are telling me I have to send a video with my seamstress taking the measurement of the dress and it is not guaranteed and if returnable I will be charged a 50% restocking fee. Customer service is horrible. I read the return policy, and it states 5 days. It took them two days to reply leaving only 3 days. They are horrible. This is an extremely awful and frustrating experience. It seems that a lot of people are experiencing this

Buyer beware! This company sells incredibly cheaply made dresses and uses a sketchy, dishonest return policy. After I left a negative review, they contacted me and tried to trick me into changing it in exchange for a refund. It's a trap—you will never see your money. Once you change the review, they lie and claim they never received the merchandise back. Do not trust them. You’ve been warned!

They delivered the dresses very quickly, both dresses were beautiful. I returned one and kept the other. Made everything right.
