I bought the walking boots in winter, didn’t start wearing them until a couple of weeks ago. They are super comfy, don’t know about waterproof as not rain tested yet. Won’t get to rain test now as after a few wears have split both sides of my toes. Shocked as I paid quite a lot for them so thought I was getting quality. Back to karrimor for me.

I bought a pair of golf shoes from them many years ago. The shoes are lasting well but over time the cleats have either worn or broken off. I emailed them saying they were well out of warranty but could they tell me how much a new set of cleats and tool would cost. I got a reply saying" Unfortunately, we don’t have a replacement system in place right now. We’re really sorry for any hassle this might cause, "I replied that I was not asking for replacement only the cleats. I then get a reply "We do not offer repairs, they need to go to their local cobbler." I replied that all I wanted was the cleats . I got a reply saying "Unfortunately, we don’t have a replacement system in place right now so we will be processing a refund for you instead. But don’t worry! If you’re still looking for a different size or want to try something new, you can easily place a fresh order through our website. " I replied saying " Please confirm how much you are refunding. Do you need my bank details?" I got another reply saying I should go to a local cobbler. I replied "All I am asking is do you sell replacement cleats for mine that have worn away. It’s is a simple question that only needs a simple answer. It is either “No” or “Yes we do and they cost so much “.Which one is it? ". I have not received a reply. I can only believe the android has blown it's chip or run off with the local cobbler.

Overall, great service, fast delivery but would use this company more often if they did free returns.

I received a lovely pair of wellington boots from this company as a gift which sadly have just become faulty. Having contacted the company they are going to send me a refund. My issue was dealt with very efficiently and professionally.

Bought a pair of Cotswolds green/black ladies ankle wellies, the left one was leaking at the end of two weeks. Poor quality. I've contacted onbuy where I purchased them from so I'll see if they replace the left one

I had an old pair of Cotswold Abbeydale walking shoes, size 8, that I've had a few years and wanted to replace. I was very happy with them so wanted the same pair again.
I didn't get my original ones direct from Cotswold Shoes (as they were bought with an All4one voucher) but thought I'd buy direct from them for a new pair.
The Shoes arrived... same brand, style and size. Everything EXACTLY the same as my original pair, except a number on the label, which was prob the production batch.
However they didn't fit. The width across the toes and front part of the foot was much narrower than my previous ones. I walked around the kitchen a bit, they were too tight and far to uncomfortable to walk in. I compared them to my previous pair and could see the width difference with the naked eye.
So I checked and they don't do different width sizes. Either they'd purposely changed the width size or its a manufacturing error (The Shoes are made in China).
This was the Christmas period so I emailed my concerns, and about getting a refund. Several days passed so I messaged them through their website.
During this time I saw other reviews stating the same about the width of the shoes, also that Cotswold do not exchange, and they are awkward to deal with.
Eventually I got a response, however as it was getting close to their 14 return policy, I'd already sent the shoes back at my own cost.
Then they messaged me saying the same shoes would be sent back to me (no refund) as I'd worn them. I replied explaining they had only been worn in my kitchen (quarry tiles, two dogs and kids...so yeah there are bits walked in), also that they were just too tight for me to walk in comfortably.
They responded saying they were returning them to me, I replied again, stating I'd only tried them on in the house again and wanted a refund. They then sent photos of some shoes (apparently mine?) with bits on the soles. They just would not accept that they hadn't been worn, other than to try them on.
I gave up trying to explain again... I was quite exasperated at this point, and they are returning the shoes.... y'know... the ones that don't fit?
They didn't even acknowledge that they have an issue with their product (they do... other people have also stated it).
I will never buy Cotswold Shoes again, the quality issue aside, the way they treat customers is very poor.

Swift delivery and just as described

I've had three pairs of Cotswold waterproof walking shoes. The last ones were the Maismore model. I like the style and comfort however they all suffer from the same problem. After 6 months of very light use the upper starts to come away from the sole long before the rest of the shoe is showing any signs of wear. Time to try another brand I think.

Tried Cotswold shoes online pre Black Friday sale and bought lovely laceup boots in Brown leather. So impressed I came back to get a different type in Black leather. Both pairs dead Comfy from the 1st outing. Very pleased 😀.

I asked quite a few questions before ordering. Being online I ordered two sizes of boot because I have a damaged foot and finding a size that fits and does not rub is difficult. I take a size 10.5 but Cotswold do not do half sizes. Anyway the 11 fitted so I am happy. Rather than send the 10's back I advertised them at the price I paid, on our local village web page and sold them in two days. Saved me the postage costs returning the unwanted pair.
