I've been waiting since 1st February now for my cancelled order to be refunded and been given all sorts of excuses by Contact For Lenses why the refund has not yet been processed.
So I have started the dispute process with my bank declaring this as fraud - this should take about 3-4 months until I get my money back from the credit card company.
Make sure you get a confirmation from them that your order is cancelled for a full refund, and then it should be straight forward disputing it through your bank. Don't waste your time with Contact For Lenses chasing them for outstanding refunds

This company used to work fine in the past, but my last order has not materialised, despite taking my money a long time ago.
I have managed to cancel my order after a few weeks of waiting, but I am still waiting for the refund that was promised weeks ago would be done within 2-4 working days.
This company has become an absolute scam and should be closed down by authorities as a matter of urgency, as clearly this is an absolute scam!

I have used this company on many occasions and until recently haven't had a problem. On 28th December I ordered my prescription on line and paid by Credit Card. After 2 weeks I hadn't received the lenses. I emailed company to be told they were out of stock. I asked to cancel the order and requested a refund and was told 3/4 days and money would be in my account. I AM STILL WAITING. Numerous emails later with the same reply and NO refund.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The service is disgraceful. It speaks for itself when you cannot write a review on their own site. Still waiting the refund!!!!!

Took my money, lenses not in stock. I then chased them to find out when stock expected, they didn’t know. So cancelled order and requested refund a month ago. Still no refund!

I had an email saying problems with issuing refunds and then nothing.

Don’t order from them.

I have been emailed and told refund has been sent. I will let you know if it arrives.

No refund still. I’ve opened a charge back claim through my bank.

Refunded via bank and charge back claim.

Ordered from this company since 2006, was slightly puzzled when I ordered 06/01/18, and didn't get my order within a few weeks.... Sent a few emails then discovered they seem to have gone under yet are still taking people's money.
Have started a claim with my bank to get my money back...
DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To-date 24/02/2018 I only get generic emails back and get fobbed off on messenger.
Ordered my lenses from elsewhere got them within a week.

Update: 10 March. Nothing from contact for lenses other than empty promises. However, I filed a fraud report with my bank and got my money back, also filed a fraud report with the police.

Wow this company is still allowed to trade?
Needs shutting down. I odered lenses from them 6 weeks ago and still nothing.
I emailed them and they've advised that it's on back order but they don't know how long the order will take.
It's a scam and they'll take your hard earned money for nothibg in return.

Ordered a contact lens from here. Never reached. Requested for a refund, very unlikely I will get it back.

I've been waiting for 6 weeks now for my order (contact lenses) that is supposed to take 5 days. I doubt i will ever see my £70 again. After contacting them numerous times they either don't respond or tell me it will be a while but give no date.
Not worth the cheap prices - these guys are absolute cowboys.
Spend a bit more and go somewhere else....

AVOID AT ALL COST - The worst company I have ever encountered. A 1 star rating is too much for these scammers. They take your order and money promising you that they will have your lenses with you in about 7 days. UTTER RUBBISH, They take your order and your money then bugger off to the pub laughing. They then ignore you for a while, finally reply and ignore what you have requested. I told them I needed them urgently, they ignored that, I told them I wanted a refund, they ignored that, It took me ages and ages to get a refund. I finally had to threaten to report them to the Jersey Police and equivalent of trading standards. They tell you - "You are on back order and we can't give you a delivery date" LYING SHYSTERS. I could go on for ages..............................SIMPLY DO NOT USE CONTACTFORLENSES, they are liars and cheats. Were they on mainland UK I would have tracked them down and paid them a visit to discuss customer service :) Raging is an understatement.....

Disgusting customer service. Ordered a product and was told 3 days delivery...5 weeks later and they have only bothered to reply to 1 email saying it's on back order. No response to further emails. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

Previously happy with this company.
However I reordered two weeks ago.
No sign of the lenses.
No answer from customer services email.
I have tracked down the warehouse they use in jersey but the person there says they just process the orders so no help.
They also use a financial management company in Jersey called Vista.
I've spoken to someone their who is investigating my complaint/order.
The people behind the company are based in India though.
I'm going to give it couple more days for them to respond before flagging as fraud with my bank to get my money back.

not recommended. service delivery is poor: company only sent part of the order and i had to remind them that remainder was missing; then waited for over 3 weeks for remainder and eventually cancelled the shipment of the remainder. 4 days later they informed me that remainder has been shipped ignoring my cancellation; now i am asking for a free return of remainder and reimbursement. customer support is not helping and ignoring my request! avoid!

Avoid - Have used this company via "Lenseplanet" website several times in the past without issue, last order placed in October 2017 did not arrive, promised refund following order cancellation has not arrived either, customer services did respond to being queried however the issue remains of no goods and no refund!

An update to my previous review. I cancelled my order and - guess what -
I have not received the promised refund despite two emails to chase it. I only got a reply to my last email because I told them I will be informing trading standards and consumer TV programmes about them.
Still no refund though! The matter is now in the hands of my credit card company. I would advise others to start proceedings through your bank or credit card company to get your money back.

Wish I had read reviews. Like others here, no order, no response to emails. Awful company. Only ordered once before and they were late but did arrive. Ordered with a better company until December when was swayed by the £10 off - really not worth it.

Ordered on August, nothing arrived, chased in September, didn't get any replies, resorted to social media, told would be despatched asap, nothing arrived, request cancellation in October, told a refund in 3 to 4 days, nothing received, chased, no reply, now resorting to social media. Previously used without a problem, now it is terrible, no customer service, no goods, and no refund, I think that is called stealing.

Previously had no problem but now no lenses and 3 weeks after being promised a refund it still hasn’t appeared. No better than thieves.

Similar to other reviews. They are slow if they deliver at all. So far they haven’t delivered at all or replied to three messages regarding refund policy. If you want to save £1 a box but wait a month or more and risk getting no lenses with no redress from customer services then go ahead. In the meantime, whilst I am waiting for their order, I am about to place a second order for lenses from a reliable supplier based in Ireland who dispatch next day for free. Avoid.

1e zending is alles vlekkeloos verlopen.
2e zending drama.

Ervan uitgaande dat ik dezelfde levering zou krijgen. Maar 22ste besteld. 23 afgeschreven.(credit card) en de 4e nog steeds niets ontvangen. Door drukte zelf ook niet erg opgelet. Maar blijkt dat ze het nog niet eens verstuurd hadden terwijl ze verzending binnen 3-5 dagen aangeven. Zelf contact gezocht geen reactie totdat ik negatieve berichten op hun FB pagina plaatste toen kreeg ik de verwijzing intern naar hun supprt mail. En werd het negatieve bericht gelijk gedelete.
Bleek dat ze het artikel niet konden leveren. Maar geen enkel bericht daarover gehad. En ook geen enkele andere oplossing geboden. Alles vanuit mijn kant moeten pushen om nu na 4-5 dagen eindelijk confirmation te krijgen dat ze mijn geld terug gaan storten. Ik ga hier niet meer bestellen.

Waiting on my refund. Also started the chargeback procedure. so hopefully I get it asap. Stalking them seems to be the only way to get a response. And also getting the same generic responses. Until the last one. Apparently it was sent by someone else since it had a different font.....

Echoing all the reviews below. I was a customer of Contactforlenses for almost 4 years, and while their communication and speed of dispatching orders had always been fairly poor, they now seem to have sunk to an all new low. I've had what now seems to be the standard experience of ordering and paying, hearing and receiving nothing, sending repeated emails to investigate, and then finally cancelling my order and requesting refund. Unsurprisingly - while my account shows that the order has been cancelled - no refund has arrived! The issue is now with my bank who are pursuing a chargeback on my behalf. Will never use again, and nor should anyone else. I cant see how they can remain in business for much longer

As I scrolled through the reviews, I was no surprised to hear that numerous other customers of Contactforlenses had experienced the same poor level of customer service that I have endured.

Order placed in October. Products NOT received in November. Refund requested two weeks ago. Refund not received two weeks later!!! It's interesting how the company take your money straight away and yet when it comes to delivering the lenses or even processing a refund it can take over a month to sort out! I don't know if I ever will see my money back :(
