ConceitBase Heat pump installed with different models from the ones I paid for, and the job left unfinished
I hired ConceitBase in 2024 for the underfloor heating and a Daikin Altherma 3 heat pump in my house in Cascais. In March 2025 they invoiced me for the equipment (outdoor unit ERGA08, indoor unit EHSX08P50E) and I paid the next day. They kept the equipment in their warehouse until installation.
When the heat pump was installed in November 2025, the nameplates showed other models: ERGA06EAV3H and EHSX08P30EF. Daikin Portugal confirmed to me in writing that these are not equivalent to the contracted ones: lower heating capacity and a smaller tank. The company later explained, through Daikin, that it made the swap "at the same total price as originally agreed". I was never asked for permission and the price was never adjusted.
The solar back-up resistance I paid for never arrived. The Madoka controller, the room thermostats and the electrothermal heads were never installed, so the underfloor heating has no room-by-room control at all. The visit to finish the job was cancelled on the morning it was due, and two days later the company wrote to me that it considered the job closed.
My advice to anyone hiring for an installation like this: before you pay, check the model on each unit's nameplate and compare it with the invoice. The matter is now going through the proper channels.
