If you’re going to use Clockwork as your removal company, either a) take out their insurance add-on or b) don’t bother. Clockwork damaged every single large item. Not a single item was delivered unscathed - wardrobes, bedside tables, a chest of drawers, even the washing machine. We decided not to take out the additional insurance premium, accepting transit damage on a couple of items may happen. Had we have known the little care that the team took in packing, and that every large item would be damaged in some way, we would have. Their policy is that their negligence is limited to £40 per item, which would have been acceptable, were it not for they completely ruined a wardrobe beyond repair. Was it damaged in transit? No. We paid additional for the dismantling and reassembly of said wardrobe, and an incompetent member of their team took a powertool to it and completely stripped the door hinges. This, had the wardrobe properly been disassembled wouldn’t have happened. They wouldn’t accept more than £40 for a £400 wardrobe. Their Customer Services - patronising and lacking in any empathy whatsoever. I won’t be using them, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish everyone was friendly, helpful and really inspired trust. From Rob, who did the initial quote, everyone I met at the office, to the four guys who packed us on the first day and Tom and Warren who came all 300 miles down to Pembrokeshire, everyone was fantastic. We had to change our dates three times and we didn’t even exchange contracts until we were an hour away from the new house so it was a stressful time for us but the Clockwork team were very calm and reassuring. They worked hard and took every problem in their stride.

I felt there was a real culture of getting things right, paying attention to detail, and keeping us informed, which makes me think the company as a whole thinks these values are important. They weren't the cheapest quote we got but absolutely worth every penny.

I have recently moved and booked Clockwork removals. They turned up on time, flawless service, the three lads that came were amazing, they were friendly, polite and professional. It took away lots of the stress from moving house. I 100% recommend this company, worth every penny.

What a great experience,

From the first conversation with clockwork they were great! A very accurate video call to get an idea of what space was required and good value quote. (Not the cheapest but worth paying for!).

The team arrived at just before 8:30 has everything loaded in just over an hour and then went off to wait for us. They really took the stress out of this and worked around us as our toddler had breakfast.

Also unloaded at the other end and really well done, everything placed in an appropriate place even helped move furniture around a bit more than needed.

The guys arrived nice and early and got on. They worked quickly but carefully as well and were super friendly the whole time. They took great care to look after our belongings and nothing was too much for them

Reliable and considerate service from packing to unpacking at storage by the removers who came.

The only let down was what I’d been charged for packaging wise wasn’t clearly communicated to me or known on arrival based on the info. to hand for me to either use on the day of removal, or keep for a future move.

Luckily I remembered and asked to keep the boxes that I had already paid for - they weren’t in the best condition either. This part of the service needs to improve given the cost.

Third time using Clockwork and yet again took all the stress of the removal from us. First time we had them do all the packing and 100% wish we had used them to do the packing on previous moves too. Superb service.

We had originally booked them for the week before but we didn't complete in time, so had to move the booking last minute (to Dec 23rd). Clockwork admin staff were really good in sorting this out

The crew turned up on time (bit early actually) and just got on with the job. All very polite and friendly, and picked up all the stuff we asked for, even with last minute changes, and were great in positioning in the new house
Seemed to be reasonably quick, but efficient, nothing appears to have been damaged, so would definitely recommend Clockwork for any removals
