She had me on the phone for half hour. Just for a food voucher. She dint send nothing at the end total not worth time. Just lie to people.

Waste of time, asked for a appointment to speak to an advisor,but had to endure countless questions going over the same thing.Did not get the appointment I asked for.Totally incompetent

Wish to change reviews 5* in future after getting help with urgent issues. Cut funding issues there isn't any support by the CAB anymore. Hang up 43 minutes no one received the phone calls, rang up on Friday same waiting but no responsed at all. Looks like completely shut down because of funding issues so please immediately funding appropriately so that Residents can get help. There isn't any other ADVICE BUREAU to get advice. NEWHAM WHITECHAPEL both closed down only one here is REDBRIDGE CAB. I would like to recommend please given opportunities for volunteers to work so that urgent enquiries at least they will be able to make lists. Randomly too many Residents are calling but no answers either at any issues. Thanks indeed.

They do not answer their phone was on the phone for almost 40min

Called and was told Ghey would call back never called said no record this is Motherwell went to Bellshill and was laughed at they called sosisl service Bellshill balms laughed about me done my form and refused to give me it saying she would post when I read it she missed out everything on form and said I was conflicting when spoke I have Autisim disgusted just a let down unprofessional this is people with health problems mental health and other problems you can treat them bad it’s not for you to judge it’s for you to know about different subjects prob not make fun of someone with autism

If it was back in the days when citizen advise advisers know what they talking about and give you real help and advice you would leave feeling good because your issues have been resolved, Compared to now, the advisers they have now don't have a clue I don't think they care about you and your problems I know its voluntary not being paid, no one asked you to volunteer you did so on your own, it would not be bad for the staff to help customers in stead of fobbing people off, and repeating everything you say like a parrot and sending you to debth adviser, I did not need debth adviser, I believe in the saying that free ness is not good getting free adviser not a good idea, it's upsetting and you back to square one because they did not answer your questions because they don't know them selves, citizen advice was never like this, it use to be really useful and the best place if you have any issues, sorry one star

Having yet to hear from either Autotrader or AA Cars and with the bank saying they could not help as I has chosen to transfer the monies, I was pretty much down a dead end street. Spoke to Chloe at the Citizens Advice Consumer Service and she very patiently and kindly listened to me whittle on, made my 30 day rights to return the vehicle with its issues very clear and sent me a web form to fill in which gave me a structured legal letter. Chloe also logged the details with Trading Standards who monitor cases. Having sent that letter to the dealer by email on the afternoon, I had my son's outstanding monies returned that evening. So very grateful and couldn't recommend or commend Chloe and the Citizens Advice Consumer Service more.

Hythe, Hampshire are excellent. I've had 2 appointments with two different advisors and they provided great advice in a professional and polite manner.

Terrible, they don't even answer the telephone. The automated machine just sends you round in circles. Yet another tax funded public service unfit for purpose.

I called this useless incompetent office Citizens NON advice to get some information about a rental issue for an 85 year old man who is having issues with the private landlord (who happens to be his daughter). The clown on the phone from reception Asha, took the call, this woman was clueless and just a nasty person who tries to act like a lawyer. I was not given any advice, I was not given any support, the woman started a fight with me and I was recording her so I can make a formal complaint and expose these clowns. Why are these incompetent government offices open to the public when the tax paid employees do not do any justice and wasting public funding. This office must be shut down and the Minister must be involved, so some accountability is taken. We asked for a phone appointment, this woman was not capable to even make this phone appointment. This is NOT service this is abuse of inflated powers and egos in the way !!!! Shame on you !! Asha.... get a new job you are abusing government funds.... get some training !!

What a waste of time

Consumers are ill informed when told to contact this organisation. Their only motive is to enabled corruption by institutions.

They staff are lazy and rely on the internet to basically fob off consumers prior to obtaining their data in efforts to pass it onto other corruptive marketing companies.

I lost my home( back in the late 2000s) because they choose to assist the council who was desperate for my property in order to house families. A property, i worked long and hard for.
At the time one of the staff at the council had a friend who worked at the energy company ( which she advise me off). She would have him rack up my energy bill and Citizens advice enabled this , continued the bullying to have me leave. I absolutely loathe this organisation.

The staffs hide behind fhe " we are only volunteers and not a part of the government". That is bull!. They are employed gatekeepers and there to exploit vulnerable consumers ,whilst assisting the corrupt organisations .

If you are forced to use them, give bogus details

CAB. I rang for advice waited on the phone for ages, eventually spoke to someone who gave me an email address to contact, probably off Google.I gave them below average feedback. This was two months ago. Anyways I get a call today from some lady regarding my feedback. She informed me that CAB is run completely by volunteers and that its a charity not paid by the Government. They are short staffed and staff are volunteers. Basically I should be lucky to have help from them is the feeling I got.She said their lawyers are paid by private companies. I won’t be calling them next time. Just Google your issue, you will get better luck and quicker.

i call up requiring assistance in regards to a problem with amazon and i point out how bad the Indian call centres are (not anything untrue as anyone who's delt with them can attest) whilst explaining my situations

i then have them projecting their fee fees unto me, why do i care about their fee fees (bearing in mind I'm referring to how horrendously bad amazon are), I'm there for assistance, not a struggle session

she then proceeds to get on a high horse warning me (i don't care as I'm not doing a struggle session), she then proceeds to get very arsey and ends it after giving no assistance whatsoever

if you want assistance, be ready for a struggle session if you want to tell them what happened

I needed advice about how to deal with a house sale when one party is reluctant to sell. Brilliant advice, great advisor and I was very happy with what I was told. Thankyou

called to ask advise and the agent came out with assumptions which were not true.

Terrible service hours on the phone on hold lines busy no answer. Sent whatsapp ignored again a week later still no answer. Not like they used to be there a total joke dont waste your time

CAB Raang Me Wiith ONLY 2 RINGS, Answered Phone And Supposed Help Advisor Had Immediately Gone And Left A False Message Informing Me She'd Ring Me Again In 10 Minutes, Which Never Happened. Some Public Service. Whatever Happened To Face To Face Appointments? As This System Is A Waste.Of Time!

An absolute WASTE of taxpayers money.
Why on earth do they exist .. If anyone is thinking of a visit, don't waste your time !
