Stunning property that lacked for nothing- perfect for a family getaway or mates catching up for a few days. Superb location in the middle of the village a stones throw from the pubs and restaurants with the beach a short walk. Highly recommended

Comfortable cottage and a great location for touring the area. We chose it because it is close to a dog friendly beach.

We had a marvellous time at Quarryside; a late booking after we were unhappy with our previously booked
place.
Quarryside proved to be delightful - clean, sweet-smelling, spacious and everything we wanted.
The location & views are second to none!
So much to do in the area, and wonderful walks directly from the doorstep.

The accommodation and situation was everything we could have hoped for. Good views over the bay and very quiet and peaceful. Fairly central to most of the coastline we wanted to visit. Booking was easy.

Cannot fault Choice Cottages. Lots of communication before, during and after our stay. Excellent !!

Cottage was within easy walking distance of beach and village, with many places to eat and drink.facilities in cottage were good, although one shower was out of use. We managed with the remaining 2 and there was plenty of hot water.

The Choice website is good, and the pre-holiday communication was generally decent. Unfortunately, the property itself fell well short of expectations. It could have been a really good holiday home, but it clearly had not been properly maintained or cleaned.

Several of the advertised facilities were unusable, including the BBQ and pizza oven. The property was also not in an acceptable state of cleanliness, and the beds had not been made up when we arrived.

I raised our concerns with Choice through the feedback forms provided during the stay. I also met with the property manager and showed her around the property. She was genuinely appalled by its condition and actually told me that she would not have stayed there herself in the state it was in. She said she would speak to Choice and get back to me, but I have heard nothing since.

I subsequently checked Choice’s terms and conditions and discovered that complaints are apparently supposed to be made directly to the property owners. I have emailed Choice twice asking for the owners’ contact details, but have received no response.

This is particularly disappointing given that the holiday cost of £4,000. You would expect a company arranging a holiday at this price to take responsibility when a property is clearly not up to the standard advertised.

One of the advantages of booking through a platform such as Airbnb is having access to a resolution process when something goes wrong. With Choice, I have found myself with nowhere to turn and no response to my communications.

The property had potential, but the lack of cleanliness, maintenance and, most importantly, the lack of support from Choice has left us very disappointed.

Great holiday spot. We loved the location and all the amenities this property offers.

Lovely clean property with all the basic needs,in a prime location for the bus stop and everything in walking distance.
The only down side was the amount of steps we had up to our room but this is understandable since its an old beautiful property but we had a great week 🙂

These guys only send you a link if your internal rating is 4 or 5 so obviously manipulating the reviews. Stayed in Georgeham and was pretty dreadful and we checked out early unfortunately.

Loved the whole place, from the moment we got there. Lovely welcome from Karen, stunning and unique grounds. Well equipped clean and tidy cottage with so much history. Comfy and massive beds. The hot tub was an amazing addition (which was well looked after during our stay and excessive use of it!). The stunning views add to what is such a gem of a place - Karen has created a space full of peace and joy, thank you.

Couldn't fault the Ranch.. What was nice about it was when you open the door you can smell the beautiful wood of the Chalet. Spotless clean, Shower was lovely and hot.

It was very peaceful too. We will recommend.
