Chef Works has significantly changed their sizing. I ordered exactly the same style and size pants I've been wearing for several years and they are so huge I can't keep them up--even when my shirt is tucked in and the string is tied. I tried to exchange them, but the shipping charges and potential restocking fees are absurd. I would rather give the pants away and find a new company.

Stay away from this company.

First, they lied about the delivery date and later claimed it was an error in their system. After that, they promised I would receive my order at the beginning of the week. Today is Wednesday, and once again they have wasted my time.

They guaranteed delivery today, but yet again they failed to deliver. To make matters worse, they falsely claimed that nobody was at the property, which is completely untrue. I have been here all day waiting for the delivery.

Poor communication, broken promises, and false excuses. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere. ⭐☆☆☆☆

I recently got the Hartford Chef Coat. It is a really lovely tunic - light, airy, fits nicely & washes really well! (For those that want to know, I am a size 12 and ordered the small, it's "nicely snug", if that makes sense?).

I went for some embroidery - Welsh Flag on the collars and my name on the right breast.

I only wanted five as I was buying as an individual and I wanted a Tunic that was easy to wear, durable, and kept me cool in the heat.

I ordered 1 to start with as the name embroidery looked quite small on the photos and I only wanted it to make it easier for residents (I work in a care home) to identify me - I got the Welsh flag as I am Welsh, in Wales and knew the residents would love it, which they do!

There was an embroidery hiccup with my initial order however when I raised it, it was dealt with and remedied extremely quickly; Pippa is HUGE a credit to the Customer Care Team!

My name was much larger than I thought it would be - basically the right size for what I wanted (rather than how it appeared in the photos when I was I ordering the first tunic) and all the residents can read it. I have since ordered & received the other 4 that I needed.

I have had many positive comments/compliments about my tunics from residents, staff and visitors.

A huge win-win for me - a quality, extremely comfortable tunic that looks good/professional plus excellent service and the added benefit of creating a talking point for me with the residents 😊

I love this company for their products. Unfortunately their ridiculous prices for embroidery offset the products if you want to go this route. They are the highest in all the vendors i surveyed. Nearly doubling the cost of the apparel itself. If you absolutely must use them don't pay their embroidery as you can have it done locally at literally 10% of the cost. Quality was actually better than that of a jacket Chef Works did. That's what I would do. There are just as good companies out there such as Happy Chef, Chefwear, Crayson Designs, Chefuniforms.com etc. Many have much more reasonable costs all around and solid products to boot. Chef Works is obviously geared to huge franchises that can afford $200 a jacket per cook. No thanks, shop around protect your bottom line.
