Wouldn’t order from here again.

Really poor customer service!

We ordered two Siena vintage leather bar stools in August 22 and noticed this week that the seams have all started to come apart. Contacted customer services to see if we could get either repair or replacement and they have refused advising that it was our fault through use of the chairs or load placed on the chairs. We advised that the chairs were only used to sit on and that they should be of sufficient quality to cope with this. Chairs warehouse responded advising that clearly it was wear and tear. The chairs are only 5 months old! Would not recommend buying from this company - terrible quality and terrible customer service.

Terrible, terrible chairs. We ordered 4 Berlin chairs and when they arrived they looked beautiful. However, when we tried to build them, 3 of the 4 chairs were defective. The bolts would not go into the holes. When we contacted Customer service we were met with hostility and they refused to believe us. They made us take videos of us trying to screw the bolts in!!! They then said that the wrong bolts were sent (even though all the bolts are the same size and 1 chair was fine) & they would send new bolts. We refused as I had lost faith in them and has numerous arguments with customer service - they actually talked over me continually.
We eventually received a refund but they are refusing to refund the post and packaging even though it states in their T&C’s that they would. We are now taking legal advice.
Also, the chair that was ok was not that comfortable.

Bad bad, only giving one star extra because the delivery of the chair and the first replacement went smooth. I’ll explain below.

I should have written in January 2021 (when it occurred, but after finally making a trustpilot account I had to recollect what happened and write this just to let others know).

Nice office chair delivered and noticed the piston delivered was not up to par. After sending an email they send a new one. Chair was fine.

Barely used the chair (sat on it for 3 weeks or so) then went off abroad for a month +, came back from abroad, sat on it and the material on the side came loose from the metal base of the chair on the left corner, where the thighs rests. (Nobody has used it while I was away, as I lived alone) Sent an email, they didn’t want to replace it.

They mentioned normal wear and tear and that the part of the chair in their opinion the “ section would only become damaged with either force or if the chair has been misused in some way.”. I mentioned I have never done anything else but sit on it normally.
They mentioned they never seen it before and they sell a lot of those.
Unfortunately mine did.

They mentioned after my original repair request (first time when the piston issue was highlighted) I didn’t mention any other issues from delivery…. This issue of course as explained didn’t happen at delivery.

Their website mentions "Once your product is more than 28 days old (but within the warranty period) we will repair or replace it free of charge, if the exact model is not available then a similar maybe offered. It is solely at the discretion of us as to whether a repair or replacement is provided.

All products come with a 12 month warranty. "

Clearly from the other reviews on Trustpilot in this company, they will hardly let you make use of the 12 month warranty and will do much to avoid any replacements except for just when the item is delivered.

I asked if I could send it in for repair as an alternative, they said they don’t do repairs either.

Wish I had known to avoid myself from spending extra money on another chair. This chair wasn’t cheap.


Lost case, money wasted as quality of chair was not up to par (although it looks nice). I do not recommend this company to anyone!!

FYI this is my second review ever done on Trustpilot, (I don’t really do reviews) so that tells you how serious I am of letting others know.

Bought 4x chairs june/July 2020. One seat base arrived with glue marks on seat which, on complaining, they did send a replacement. These chairs have hardly been sat on,but when they are, they creak and feel unsteady. The wooden legs splay when they are sat on.
Final straw came when another seat base broke. On complaining to company they offered to again replace the seat base but they were not interested when advised of safety concerns with these chairs.
Have lost all faith in these chairs and if you care for the safety of your family and any friends which may be allowed to visit after lockdown I would stay well clear.
Customer service very poor and not interested when advised of the safety issue of these chairs.
In my opinion stay well clear if you value the safety of your family.
Buyer beware!!

Bought 3 pairs of the Havana dining chairs. At first was in doubt because of the price but really surprised when it arrived! That, btw was faster than expected with next day delivery.
Customer service also 5stars. Quick to reply and very polite. Love my chairs. Looks amazing in my dining room.

bought the chair in September had to return leg was broken refused a refund, had to return to wairhouse i did not have a box, they said no box no return, i eventually made a box and returned, received the return today leg still loose would neither recommend or purchase anything from this company. Customer service worst i have ever experienced.

Bought two York tub chairs 6 months ago. Disappointed with these as seat base cushion is very hard & uncomfortable. Also legs tend to screw in at different angles & when anybody sits it them & moves about they creak. Not had much use & considering replacing with something better already. Had tub chairs before & they were fine with softer seat cushions & shorter stubby square legs.

Excellent service and lovely chairs, exactly as described. Delivered within 2 days of ordering, easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend. Very happy.

REALLY fast dispatch. I think the chairs are really good value, at a very competitive price.

Great chairs for the money, £89 for 2 chairs, can’t really moan at that, turned up fast and when I spoke to the company they were very pleasant.

Ordered a tub chair,they are really lightweight
We felt damage on seat chair was returned to company however they insisted damage didnt exist and have returned it to me. Doesnt sit right so really can only be for show.
I won't be ordering again shame really as.looked so nice on the website.
