This is a wonderful course. The teaching is first class, with a nice mixture of theory, theory that is backed up with practical demonstrations and treatments that we provide on fellow students. Thomas is great.
Thomas is clear and concise with his teaching, both during the theory and practical treatments. The course is structured so well, that you appreciate it more as you progress through the year and see how everything integrates. Thomas has great experience of being a therapist and teacher which clearly shows with his passion and professionalism. The tutors are top class therapists with lots of experience. With that, great advice and support was always available. They are lovely people that are always on hand to help. They back up Thomas well with their great input and insights through their knowledge and experience in Craniosacral therapy, as well as their experiences with other therapies and life in general.

Personal development is a crucial aspect of the course. It becomes more clear how important clearing out one's own system is, in order to become a grounded, calm and balanced therapist, as you progress through the year and notice the wonderful, positive changes in yourself, on both a personal and professional level. The college do not shy away from communicating this.

The college are good at adapting to situations. An example would be introducing small, morning break out groups for the students to talk to a tutor about their current feelings and emotions, and what things were getting brought up for them during the course. This was in response to some difficult emotions arising in some students during the stages. Students practice on each other, and traumas buried within the system can be released during treatment. This can result in temporarily experiencing somewhat difficult feelings, depending on the person, their background, and how much personal development they have done prior to the course. The tutors were always available and on hand to help if required. I think it is important for future students to understand that in order to become a therapist, they need to clear their own system and work on themselves. This course enables that clearing, which is wonderful, but can be difficult for someone who wasn't prepared or quite ready.

I have had a huge transformation in myself. Through receiving weekly craniosacral treatments from the tutors and looking inwards to other aspects of myself, the course has positively transformed my life and everything it encompasses. I am a happier man now than I was one year ago, and the course has enabled this.

This work has opened my eyes to the power of life, the universe, and where we fit in. It's been wonderful to work with such great people, and build friendships with students and tutors. I have found a new passion in life. Thank you all.

I completed the first 1 year of the training in 21-22, but didn't return for the second year.

The course was largely well organized, and the teacher/tutors quite pleasant.

However, following ~50 private treatments with college tutors (these treatments are continually recommended throughout the course) I have serious doubts as to the efficacy of CST. While I mostly enjoyed the treatments, they are expensive and have had minimal beneficial result on my health. I question whether the course can actually result in therapists able to benefit patients.

Thank you so much for the Trauma course. I just wanted to say that I had a really lovely time on the course. As always, I left feeling so privileged to have had the opportunity to share the space with so many beautiful souls. It's always so heart-warming how vulnerable people can be and how warm the space can feel when really most of us had never met before we stepped through the door on Day 1.



I've always liked the mix of instruction and practical, and as I said at the end of Day 4, I felt I could appreciate the practicals much more this time as a more experienced practitioner. I've come back feeling like I can try a few new things out and change up some of the ways I was doing things before. Renewed excitement!



I've also been inspired by the discussions, specifically around birth and postpartum support for mother and baby and have decided to create a "rebirthing" service for families so that they might have an opportunity to go back through their birth process so that the body might have the opportunity to complete a process that didn't have the opportunity to complete before. I always hear mums say, specifically around caesarean birth, "I don't feel like I ever gave birth," and I know that this is their body struggling to complete the birth process and find closure and I see and feel so much grief around this. I've been considering this since we did the mother and baby module last year, but I felt like these 4 days really threw me back into wanting to see this offered to mothers who are struggling to make sense of their birth experience and are feeling trauma from it.



I always love talk around physiology and day one was right up my street for this information. I've taken away a lot of info about the limbic system and how it works in relation to trauma response.



I really just want to say that I'm so pleased to have had the chance to do these 4 days and to have even more to integrate into my life! 💗💗💗

Thank you so much for the Trauma course. All I’ve said to my family since I’ve returned is ‘That course was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life’. I feel like a different person… so very connected to joy. It’s brimming through me, but also just feeling an inner peace that I’ve never felt before.

I’ve done three treatments on patients since yesterday and I’ve felt much more confident in bringing in vocal communication to the treatment, which worked particularly well today with a very shy 19-year old boy. I felt him ease and become more open with me because of my words whereas in his previous sessions I’m normally silent and he is so blocked off and un-expressive.

Everything you covered in the course structure resonated and had so much meaning to my practice. And I’m really feeling and understanding that integration is the magic key. Already I’m integrating things in my life since my emotional release in the circle and integrating on a treatment level with the patients in my work. Everything we did has really been so valuable.

You were even more beautifully engaging than usual which I didn’t think was even possible. Your energy was sparkling!

Wonderful venue, special group, excellent tutors, and perfect balance of lectures/talk time/treatment practice.

A truly transformational course. Instead of learning from the outside/ looking in during this process, we learn from the inside out.
You meet yourself-your true self, your wounds, your experiences, your joy. Everything is welcomed,in this place of healing. A comment that really stayed with me was from one of the tutors that stated-' if we do not address our own wounds we will be treating from a place of unhealed wounds'. We were encouraged to meet other peoples systems with loving kindness and grounding. It really is a very special course. Here your sensitivity is your superpower, intuition guides you, and loving kindness holds the space.

I am currently half way into the one year Diploma in Cranio-Sacral Therapy at the CCST in London. I have attended many trainings during the past twenty years (trauma-informed dentist and somatic counsellor) and I have found this course to be exceptional. It has been my favourite training to date both on a personal and professional front. From the quality, calibre and warm-heartedness of my tutors - Thomas Attlee and support staff - and peer group, the depth, breadth and richness of the training, and the genuine warmth, friendliness and safety of the environment that we have co-created together. I have just started the one year course in CST. I was so nervous to start but as soon as I arrived I was greated as if I was an old friend. Even within a week the training has been transformative I cant wait to see what they have in store for us next. All the tutors are extremely knowledgable, kind and willing to help.

Having just finished the first of 6 parts in the year long course, I can't recommend it more highly. The pace, the content, and the student teacher ratio have all been thoroughly thought through to provide a terrific base for a cranio sacral practice. I am a licensed physician in the US and had already had some cranio sacral education and experience, but Stage A has already brought my practice to a whole new level. Additionally, I find the post course follow up - encouraging us to practice, and to experience treatment on our own - so critical to working towards becoming an effective practitioner.

You mentioned that we might find this training beneficial. "Beneficial" is not an adequate word to describe your course. It felt that you gave us everything and allowed us at the same time to find our authentic self to grow in this world, in the cranio-sacral world. I knew so little when I enrolled in this training. Your books...I could read them a thousand times and I'll still be leaning things. I will be reading them again through the summer. I have always felt attracted to energy healing but you created a wonderful gate for us to start our first steps in it.

I will be forever grateful Thomas, and I hope I'll be carrying a little bit of your wisdom with me throughout my life. I hope to see you again soon.

I have absolutely loved this training. Cranio sacral therapy is extraordinary and beautiful and the training with Thomas and the dedicated tutor team at CCST has surpassed all expectations. It has been intense at times and each stage of the course has offered up many new learnings, both for professional practise and personal development but I have felt completely supported all the way. As I approach my exams I'm sad that the year has come to an end but excited to be bringing Cranio sacral therapy into the world. I highly recommend this course.

I don't tend to write reviews but I feel wholeheartedly that this course is life-changing. I arrived on the 1-year Diploma as a lawyer who had retrained as a psychotherapist, and who was keen to find a way of working with another's trauma that was rooted in the pre-verbal, difficult to speak of or otherwise better suited to the soft spaciousness of cranio-sacral therapy. Having now completed the course, I really can't speak highly enough of the effectiveness of the modality; the skills of Thomas Atlee or the many wonderful tutors; the integrated nature of the course (taking in the mechanical, clinical and emotional aspects); the training setting; the many beautiful people I have been fortunate to meet along the way; and its effect on my own life (and those around me). Make no mistake: the course requires perseverance, dedication and, occasionally, courage; but I wouldn't change a thing about the journey. I would note that I felt very well supported. And all aspects of the course, particularly the additional, fair costs outside tuition (such as clinical work days) and preparation for the exams were made perfectly clear. In many ways, I wish I could do it all over again. But it's time to go out into the world and do some good!

A brilliant one-year training in craniosacral therapy - each 6-day stage somehow a perfect, organic lead-in to the next. Definitely not always easy, smooth or comfortable, but so so well worth the ride. The course has obviously been carefully crafted over the years and gives a really good mix of practice and theory, supported by an excellent tutor team. I can’t say I’m looking forward to having exams next month, but am glad that we do - all part of preparing us to go out into the world as craniosacral practitioners. What can I say? It’s been life-changing!

Since 2007 I have attended many different training courses covering various therapeutic and healing modalities. Often I have travelled to many different countries to find the quality of training that I desire. After attending the 1st three stages of Cranio Sacral Training at the CCST I can say hand on heart that the training is of the highest standard. It is both a pleasure and honour to attend Thomas Attlee’s teachings. He possesses a bottomless wealth of knowledge and expertise. The course tutors are of the highest calibre and the support they give is second to none.

The one year certification course is well paced for those willing to seriously commit!! and the coursework materials, reading etc are super pertinent to the ongoing stages.

I would highly recommend this training to anyone who is considering Cranio Sacral Training. Thomas and his team are delivering a course of the highest standard. If I had to sum my experience to date in one word … I would have to say it’s …. QUALITY 👌

I have absolutely loved this training, it is undoubtedly the best thing I have ever done. Thomas has such incredible knowledge and experience, which has been insightful and a huge learning curve. The structure of the course is managed really well and the sessions never feel overwhelming or stressful it feels relaxed and at the right pace. Its been an absolute honour to train with him. The Tutor team are superb, all offering something different and all really supportive and inspiring. I loved the online revision sessions which kept me on-track between the stages and feeling part of a great support network. I have met some incredible people from all walks of life and feel they will be life-long friends going forward. I have never felt such a huge amount of love and safety so quickly and with such a large group of people I had never met before the course, its such a special and unique experience to be a part of where everyone is supporting each other through their own journey's. Although I'm really sad for it to be coming to an end, I know the alliances will continue with the students and staff in the years ahead and I will definitely be returning to join the postgraduate courses post graduation. This is not related to the CCST North - It is about the CCST in Primrose Hill London.
I"m writing this review because I wish some had warned me before I gave my money away to that organization. After studying and doing well in the course for 1 and a half year the head teacher decided, after I disagreed with some of the scheduling, that I had to drop off the course.
He is an arrogant man who thinks he is a law within himself. I tried to get my money back and received e-mails saying "don't be silly!, you are not entitled to anything'. I tried to go to mediation to discuss the situation with him and he agreed but then send me an e-mail saying he was on holiday and would contact me when he returned. This was over 2 years ago! I had enrolled in the course for a change of career and was treated like some housewife with too much money to spend.
It's a shame that someone with so little integrity is allowed to run a healing therapy centre.
It would be bad enough if I was the only person they did it to, but they were happy to take money from another two students (3 out of 12!) in the course and then ask them to leave without being able to do the exams.

Unfortunately the experience was so traumatic, that I have not had the heart to return to training in a different location. Fortunately though, the person in question will have to live with himself to the end of his life and that is enough punishing for me.

The College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in London (CCST) is one of the oldest colleges in the UK specialising in teaching students learn this healing art form, which has been known to have amazing results with treating trauma, PTSD, Chronic health issues, anxiety and such like.

On the whole the college is OK but it needs a major revamp.
It really does have the potential of being a world class Centre of Excellence - pushing the boundaries of Craniosacral therapy BUT........

The teaching material and methods are somewhat outdated.
Also the course costs are not totally transparent as advertised on their site. Students frequently mention every year how much extra the course costs in hidden charges. The majority of college lectures are held in a dilapidated building in North London (Highgate) with very poor infrastructure (lack of female toilets etc)

A major them lacking on course is Trauma appreciation and adequate exposure and methodology to Long-Tide and Mid-Tide appreciation.
There is very little regular feedback given to students on how they are progressing until the last few months of the course when the stress of final examinations kicks in.

To be fair though one very good skill taught at the college is Fascial Unwinding. Fascia is something that has had much research money poured into it recently by universities world wide. Science is only just beginning to understand this remarkable structure within the body -yet Craniosacral therapists world wide have been working with it for many years. However, that being said, without an appreciation of Trauma it can be a double edged sword in the wrong therapists hands as it can re-traumatise patients and students alike. Past students have been known to leave the course abruptly due to being retraumatised.

The Senior Principal , although a very nice elderly man, is somewhat set in his ways and very reluctant to take constructive criticism on improvements to the course. He also has a reputation of failing students for minor issues even after they have spent thousands of pounds. The final exams consist of written and practical exams. Frequently students complain how stressful they can be, which is at odds to what the therapy is trying to achieve itself - self healing through mind-body relaxation and attunement to natural cycles.

The other tutors at the college are very good.Many of them have multiple skills in different modalities and are always willing to share knowledge and expertise.

There are other colleges such as Karuna Institute (Devon) and
Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (London) which are lot more transparent with their course costs and have continuously developed their courses over the years in line with this rapidly emerging healing-energy therapy.
