Complete and utter disgrace to an industry! 6 weeks until i received a decision! Then trying to palm off 15% less then they originally quoted... false promises and a complete disregard for their customers! Avoid this place like the PLAGUE!!!!

I sent my phone into them, as i work for a popular mobile phone recycling firm as a technician, but CMF were offering more for my Samsung Galaxy Note so i sent it to them, it had been kept in a hard case with an invisible shield on the screen from day one, i grade phones like this all the time as part of my job and knew full well this was in top notch condition.

It was sent 1st class recorded delivery on the Tuesday morning, by Friday i had heard nothing but the tracking information was showing it had been signed for in Wimbledon (where their offices are) on the Wednesday.

I got a reply the following Monday explaining they had not received my handset which was an outright lie so i emailed back showing proof of delivery and asking again where it was. Two days later i received another email saying they still had not received it so i sent the same proof of delivery again asking them what they think they are playing at.

One week later i get an email telling me they have found my phone (hooray!) and that it is not in the condition described (oh, what a surprise!) and so instead of £168 i would be offered £128 (thieving ****!) Although i would of gotten more in a private sale i didn't much like the idea of paying them to post it back, and then have it "lost" in the post.

3 weeks after i accepted their revised offer i received an email (this morning) telling me i will be receiving payment in 2 days via BACS and would i kindly review them on Trust Pilot?

Absolute rip-off merchants making money off of people by offering higher prices to get your phone, and then never offering the price quoted once they have your device. Utterly disgusting.

The price which they initially offered for my phone was the highest out of all mobile trading sites, so once I received the Free post envelope which was prompt, I headed over to my local post office and sent it. After a week, I knew they would of received it however I had no confirmation emails. After many emails there were still no reply and no answer when I phoned them. I decided to check out the reviews and they were terrible, people were saying that no matter what condition you send the phone in, even if it is literally brand new, they always deduct the price they offer you. Basically they lure you in with a great price before offering significantly less then you expected. Feeling that I have been scammed, I continued to contact them warning them with legal action and surprise they finally replied. I then received an email saying they had received my phone but had deducted £5 from it due to general wear and tear. My phone did have many scratches admittedly so I wasn't to fussed as £30 was still a good price compared to other websites, plus I just wanted my money after waiting ages for it. I accepted the offer and received another email saying that my payment which I asked to be completed via Bank Transfer should done during 48 hours from now. I had a feeling that it wouldn't which would result in me having to contact them however a day later the money was in my bank. Thank god, I knew if I did not constantly message them that they would have never sent my money and claimed never to have received my phone. Many people who have used these have most likely been scammed so I warn you not to use these and go with trustworthy ones like Mazuma.

I supplied them with my HTC Desire phone. It is less than two years old, and the screen on it was less than a year old as it had been replaced professionally and from that moment on ALWAYS covered with a screen protector. I was quoted a price of £70. Two days after receiving my phone that I sent special delivery, I emailed to find out what was happening. I then get two emails minutes after that saying they received the phone but due to not being in the condition stated, price was reduced by %15 to £59.50. Very poor communication, ignoring phone calls and voicemails, promising to call me back and "forgetting" and late payment, as well as their T&Cs not matching what they actually charge, as well as what I feel was a bogus fault "scratch on right lower screen" leads me to heartily recommend you avoid this company like the plague. Do not use.
