I went into the preston Road Brighton store on Monday and ordered a new chest freezer that I had seen online. A friendly chap on the desk ordered the freezer for me and arranged for delivery today (Wednseday). Today two strong chaps delivered my freezer to my flat. Packaging all removed and ready to plug and use. The two chaps installed the freezer into the space that I had cleared for it. It was a tight squeeze and there is no way I could have done it myself. So big thanks to the delivery guys and to the chap at the shop that ordered it for me. Really pleased with the product which is almost ready for my first froozen food delivery. I will definitely use Carters again for my kitchen appliences. Thank you. JC

Ordered dishwasher on line Was contacted by phone to arrange delivery and installation. Installed it in Christmas eve. Took away the old machine and all packaging.
Great machine. Even our 5 and 7 year olds can stack it. Husband says it's the best thing since sliced bread! Efficient, courteous, knowledgeable service.

I bought a new oven 6 months ago from the Brighton store. At 4:30pm on Christmas Eve it stopped working - sadly, these things happen!
Went into the Brighton Store on Saturday 27th December and by 11:00 am on Monday 29th December a new, replacement oven was delivered to my home.
Staff were great, no fuss and went out of their way to get my problem solved.
I have bought a number of appliances from the Brighton Store over the last 25 years and will continue to do so in the future - I would not recommend going anywhere else and the prices are competitive.
Plus you can talk to someone who wants to help!

Helpful team and good range of products. My only niggle is the manufacturer reduced the cost by £50 but I have to apply for that which is difficult requiring paper work

over the phone for an initial enquiry about what was in stock, I found the person who spoke to me very helpful, and nothing was any trouble. It was so good to be treated so courteously. the same thing applied when we went to the shop, the same good service, knowledgeable, help, patience. Thank goodness Carters still has a proper shop with proper service, where the customer comes first and is treated well.

The person who removed our old washing machine and fitted the new one was very thorough and explained every detail to us. He was neat, tidy and efficient

Ronnie was great and very patient with us when purchasing a new washer dryer. She walked us through all the different features, capacities and warranties and helped us navigate through the plethora of options helping us find what was best for our needs. We did feel a bit let down by the delivery experience as it didn’t reflect everything else (felt very rushed and left some marks on our floorboards). All in all we’re super happy with our new machine!

Always helpful and happy to advise. Plus as a small local business, they are prepared to go the extra mile and give a personal service that larger companies are unable to do. I have always found their prices to be competitive too.

Our go to suppliers every time! Always get great service and good prices. Being able to pay for installation of new goods and for removal of old ones (most recently a dishwasher and a washing machine) is a brilliant time/headache saver too!
