This school has totally transformed my son! He loves his teachers and is completely engaged in his lessons. He also has access to an amazing range of GCSE subjects and I really appreciate the important and useful topics covered in his PSHE lessons. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL HIGHLY ENOUGH!

If you are reading this review as a parent considering enrolling your child, I can confidently say that the teachers and support staff are excellent. The educators consistently go above and beyond to support students, ensuring a positive online learning environment grounded in strong educational practices. The support staff are helpful and responsive, contributing to an overall well-run system.

If, however, you are reading this as a prospective teacher or staff member, I would advise proceeding with caution. Although the pay is good, there is no written contract provided, and communication regarding performance or improvement tends to be top-down. Even when communication exists, job security is uncertain. Teachers are classified as independent contractors, meaning services can be terminated without any severance or compensation, regardless of the extra time and effort invested.

The students and parents, however, are very supportive and a genuine pleasure to work with.

My son has been studying at this online school for three years now, and he absolutely loves it. The teachers have truly become like family to us! they are open, approachable, and always ready to help. What stands out most is the wonderful psychological atmosphere they create. The teachers foster such a healthy and supportive environment in the group, which is so important for children. The lessons themselves are engaging and highly interactive. Teachers always make sure every child is involved and receives attention, so no one ever feels left out. It’s also amazing to see the incredible progress the school has made over the years. They are constantly developing, finding new ways to improve their work, and that dedication really shows. I can’t express enough how grateful we are to the school and its teachers. Their dedication and love for what they do shine through every lesson, and my son’s happiness and progress are the best proof of that.

We have been enrolled with Cambridge Online school for a year now. They are a lovely caring provider with small class sizes. Last year very sadly my daughter's favourite teacher became unwell and wasn't able to return, the school dealt with this situation brilliantly and although my daughter finds change difficult they were incredibly supportive to her.

This year they are increasing their extra curricular activities and the range of primary subject choices is brilliant. My daughter is loving it and I can honestly see my daughter continuing home education with them through out her education to GCSEs and A'Levels

One of our children moved to Cambridge Online from a public school during the last term of Year 10.

Cambridge Online were extremely accommodating in enabling this transition and it was considerably smoother than I was anticipating.

All of the teachers have exhibited an awareness of the differing needs of their students and the classes and supporting material have all been well organised.

We also have ready access to the teachers and had very helpful parent/teacher meetings at the end of the term. The support staff/helpline is very quick and agile.

Our child has been very positive about the move, which is the most important measure for us!

Of course there is more parent involvement in an online education scenario (e.g. organising exam centres etc.). However, that would be the case with any distance learning solution.

We're very happy with the school. The entire team is very nice and helpful and it is fun to learn.

My child is in year 7, so far so good. We did year 5 and 6 with this school too. Lessons are excellent full of content, structured well and informative. Access to your child’s studies is easy and communication with school is always easy and responses are quick. The only thing I have a slight issue with is that books cannot be checked for work like at regular school. But all other aspects are excellent and after school activities are great to there really is lots of plus sides to this kind of education.

I have 2 daughters in the school and after many schools we finally found a great place to be, nice teachers, smart, capable, very helpful and who understand the personal needs of each student. We are very happy and this is a 3rd year in a raw that we engaging with this school. I can highly recommend it.

My daughter joined in the middle of the school year, and we have been amazed with her progress. The content is tailored to both teach the child as well as increase their curiosity in any given subject, which means she enjoys her lessons immensely. There is also timely and efficient support from the help desk which makes parental oversight 100 times easier. Last and most importantly, the teachers are great! They are knowledgeable, interact beautifully with the children and have inspired my daughter to love learning(which, in my opinion, may be the most important job of a teacher). We love the school and cant wait to enroll our younger children!

Excellent teaching with engaging live lessons. Brilliant communication. Our daughter was struggling with anxiety in mainstream school (year 9) and fitted in straight away with Cambridge online. Jessica for Science and Emily for Maths in particular are fantastic teachers. We would highly recommend to anybody looking at home schooling and online schools.

So far the teaching is great especially the one of my Spanish teacher. She is patient, understanding and kind. Learning Spanish was challenging to me. It wasn't a language i personally liked or was interested in but Mrs Paula Zapata was able to make it fun for me with pictures, fun exercises and fun quizzes as well. This permitted me to have good base in Spanish and learn it fast.

I can review this company from two separate perspectives, I work as the PSHE lead and the experience I have and continue to have is one of pure joy. My students engage with a broad variety of material preparing them for life during and after school. Social awareness & education is of utmost importance and I am wholeheartedly supported in my role. I am encouraged, recognised & continuously given opportunities to improve and train in my role opening a better education for the students.

It’s not just the teaching role I love and have pure passion for, the school also has my two children enrolled and they have excelled in ways I thought was not possible in public schooling. The level of care, attention & personalised education they receive is above and beyond, the subjects are interesting & tailored to meet interest and demand of the students.

All in all I can recommend this school from not just a parents point of view but teaching staff too

The school is very well managed and the teachers are lovely.
My son feels very well learning there.

In my opinion my daughter studying Marine science received poor tuition from the teacher who appeared not to be a specialist in Marine science.
The teacher made comments about ADHD that my daughter found offensive and were factually incorrect.
I would definitely not recommend the A Level in Marine Science through this online school.

Very impressed with the school. We have spoken to different schools and this one stood out due to their very quick replies. We had a consultation meeting with Michelle and were set up for a week of free classes for the next day.
My children attended year 5 and 8 and loved all their teachers and for the first time in a long time were excited to learn. We decided to enrol for September which was a very quick and easy process.
Another bonus is the huge selection of subjects that their old school didn't offer. The kids are very excited for September, to see the teachers and other kids again.

My 6 years-old son loves, and looks forward, to his Maths and English lessons. His teacher, Mr. Jacques is kind and patience, has absolutely helped him advance in both disciplines, building his confidence in the process.
My son's classmates are all international, and he enjoys to communicate with them during the classes.
Also, all staff are very responsive and helpful.
I highly recommend Cambridge Online School.
