The salesman, Allan Dunn was a genuinely helpful man and didn't try to push a sale on me and gave very honest views on my choices. The manager was also very good in helping me with a good deal, which I trusted, because I have always gone to him for over 20 years previously as a salesman, regardless of where he worked. Not often you can say you trust car salesmen!

Had a great experience buying my car from Ayr. Shout out to Liam who was there every step of the way. Very polite & friendly, gave me time & space to look over the cars & try them out & then test drove the 1 I liked the best. The paperwork side was easy enough, all done electronically now & was able to add service plan too. All serviced & full year MOT too. Highly recommended.

Started off fantastic on the phone. Collection day not so much. Arrived after 5 hr travel to get there to be meet with zero customer service zero hospitality. Not even a coffee. Rushed and couldn’t get me out the door quick enough signe here there’s your key. Only to find fuel gauge 0% when I asked where nearest station was because it had none I was told if I wanted petrol I should of asked for it before arriving and they would gladly put some in at my expense. Gone are the days you would get a tank when you pick up your new pride and joy. Just 5% would have been somthing, was I ment to bring a can with me. Not a great experience when you have just spent £16.5k we have your money signe here and get out. Shocking and very poor service. They did go and get me some thankfully but overall left a very bad taste in my mouth. Sad really.

Customer service was excellent, but disappointed at exchange rate for one of the cars as I bought it from them 6 months earlier, and the car lost 3k on it, it is now at the original price I bought it for.

I understand it is a business, would recommend Bridgend though

Bought a car 6 months ago checked the mot on ugov website before agreeing everything seemed fine it did fail the month before i got it 2 majors that where supposedly fixed fault with engine lim and centre section exhaust leaking gasses on the ugov site says car passed the day after the first then 2 weeks later brakes where squelling bad took to another garage for check up brakes where gone brake discs worn right down wheel alignment way out both front tyres bold because off this rocker cover gasket blown front light bulb blown the exhaust bracket snapped(they had this tyed up with jubalee clips) engine coolant temperature sencer faulty thermostat faulty and the pivot pin on the clutch pedal is movind side to side

The blown rocker cover gasket and the snapped exhaust bracket tied up with jubalee clips are both failed mots how the hell did this car pass its mot then be put on forecourt for sale to the general public baffles me

The vehicle Trade centre in ayr is owned by the same person that own bridgend autoplex in ayr and thats what you call an "in house mot"

They lied on the mot slip pretty sure thats illegal??????

Over the past 6 months they have repaired most off the issues took 3 attempts are fixing the coolant issues got back today for the third time first 2 times error code 4 and check engine light come on day after so ill wait and see if thats fixed what ive been left with is a clutch pedal pivot pin that needing replaced and they say its normal they got a mouthfull from me today!!!!

Everybody should avoid this place and the trade centre at all costs

Wonder if they rip off the senior citizens off Ayrshire selling faulty cars with falsified mot certificates??

Customer service was appalling
Had agreed the sale a week prior to collecting my car
As part of the sale I had negotiated that the car would be provided with a full tank of fuel. I was also promised that the car would be valeted when I collected it.

On the day I collected the car the paperwork was done and I was given a quick run down about the car, then asked if it had been refuelled to which the answer was no. The salesman then sent a colleague to go refuel the car

There was a repair that needed done to the glove box in the car which has not been done to a satisfactory condition and I still have issues trying to open it so I tend not to use it

I don’t know what level the car was valeted to but I am absolutely certain that Stevie Wonder could have done a better job.

I’ve not been back to Bridgend to have any of these issues resolved because as I was a cash buyer I felt like I was being herded out the door by the salesman and I work night shifts and have no time to get to the bottom of these issues

All I want is for people to be aware of the lack of customer service and that the salesman I dealt with had to be promoted about several things that had been negotiated as part of the sale

I would not recommend buying a car from this establishment in future
