Very polite and efficient service, Julia, Scott and all the team did an amazing job for us . They are so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Bournes responded quickly to our enquiry. A knowledgeable,polite and friendly person came at an appointed time to answer questions and provide a quote, which seemed competitive, plus no other company that actually responded visited the property. Communications were good throughout and the removal team were friendly and efficient.

The team at Bournes made our move as easy and smooth as it could possibly be. Regular communication from the office and then the removals guys exceeded our expectations in every way. They arrived on time and packed all our things extremely securely; stored them for a couple of months and then delivered them back with extreme efficiency. Nothing was damaged and not a scratch or mark on any of the walls of our new home, despite many, many boxes and lots of heavy furniture! We have no hesitation in recommending Bournes to anyone moving home and/or requiring storage.

The removal team were extremely punctual and polite. After my belongings had been packed, ready to be shipped to Barbados, I was shocked that I had to pay for weeks of storage waiting for a shipping date. It took 13 weeks for my door to door service. I have used other shipping companies in the past, when delivery has only taken 6 weeks, therefore avoiding expensive storage charges. When my belongings arrived, I was extremely disappointed with the amount of unnecessary packing paper used, this wasted valuable space, therefore meant that some of my belongings could not fit in the container. I found the experience very lengthy and after paying a lot of unforseen expenses, far too costly. I would not recommend Bourne and I will not use them again.

Somehow got my personal details when i put my house up for sale, now won't stop sending marketing material i neither want nor asked for.

The absolute worst customer service. I had a call scheduled with them to discuss my move, Andy Greaves totally ghosted me. I reached out to him and he said he had a hard stop, then why were you scheduled to talk to me? Then I receive a message after being asked to fill out all my info, only to be told they were full. I got in touch with someone else at the company, then they told me I could ship and they had availability. The poor guy Andy in sales, the worst person to be working in customer service and sales. The guy needs to adjust his attitude and learn to reach out to someone, that’s your job. I don’t care if you have a hard stop (which was his excuse), reach out to the person you’re working with and reschedule appropriately. What a terrible person to have representing your company.

From the first phone call through to the end delivery Bournes were amazing. Julia was thorough and so helpful, whilst both teams that removed us and delivered to our new home were not just professional but really nice guys. Took the stress out of a stressful time and would highly recommend.

Great experience

If I could give 0 starts I would...so unprofessional I have no words. We called to book them almost a month before our move date, they confirmed they have a slot available for us to move on that day. In few days they finally sent us an estimate and we have booked the virtual walk through so they can give us an official quote. The virtual walk was set up over a week after, so it's been already almost a two weeks process to this point. After that, we have waited another 3 days to get a quote that was more than triple what they estimated...crazy, and also unprofessional. I've called them same day but our case agent Marilyn Webster wasn't even in the office so they couldn't help me. I've emailed and waited another day. Next day I got an email from her asking if we have some flexibility with the date because they are super busy...which was weird because we have already agreed on the date but I called right away to discuss. It turned out our date is no longer available and the only date they have is a week earlier, so I agreed to that only to get an email after we hung up that unfortunately while we were on the phone someone else has booked it...now they only have dates available a week after we need to exit our rental so of course not possible for us. The whole situation is so ridiculous I don't even comprehend...I don't know if this Marilyn is so clueless about her job or just stupid...probably both but she is a Senior Account Manager so be aware... The whole process of moving from rental to first buy is stressful enough in London, with all the paper work needed and stuff to be sort out - you would think booking a "worry free" moving company would give you a break, but then it turns out they don't know how to use calendar...well, thinking is hard, especially if you don't own a brain - hire smarter people Bournes.
