Very organised office staff dealt with our move. The removal men were very helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Move completed with nothing broken and nothing lost. I would certainly recommend Bournes.

Super easy process from first call to finished move. Friendly, on time and also flexible. We had a few things we couldn’t fit in the car and they took the items and kept at their office for us to pick up the next day. Highly recommend the team at Bournes

What a great company, easy to book, accurate pre inspection, support up to moving day, fantastic team work by the team how arrived to complete the loading and move to our new house. Nothing was to much trouble, chairs and beds wrapped and unpacked without any damage. Highly recommended. Robert.

The company were extremely thorough from providing the initial quote through to following up daily during our actual move. Emily checked in with us to ensure all was going well and has also arranged a collection of the numerous boxes. The team, led by Steve, was friendly, polite and considerate at all times.

Bournes were brilliant from start to finish. If you are moving abroad I would definitely recommend them, we had a tricky move to Milan and they managed the whole thing without any issues. Their Italian partner delivered everything right on schedule and had the how place unpacked by 4pm that day! Very impressive.

O the whole the service was very good apart from some poor packaging on the part of the company collecting from Spain. A couple of small items were damaged - broken glass on picture frames and more major damage to a three tier standard lamp where one of the tiers has been broken off. This has been reported by the unpackers in England and myself but nothing has been communicated with me about this. Apart from that the English chaps who unpacked everything were very helpful and pleasant.

The pick up team in the UK back in July 24th were great, helpful, and focus, albeit some of our belongings got moved out of the original boxes which was a bit disconcerting when unpacking.

The delivery team on January 3rd in AU was prompt and disposed of all the boxes we could empty, waiting for us to distribute the contents around the house in a meaningful way. The whole operation took about 2 1/2h, which I think it was a triumph.

When unpacking the items, and with the knowledge of their team, there were four (4) pictures that were damaged, either the frames or the glass.
We're awaiting if something can be done in terms of compensation for this.

Mind you, we were not that impress with the waiting for nearly 6 months for the belongings to arrive.
Consolidation took nearly 2 months, and once our belongings arrived at the beginning of December (1st of December to be precised), and inspection was approved the following week (btw, Bournes UK tells that they don't know if this is necessary, but their partners in AU say this is ALWAYS necessary, so be ready to pay this) then we still had to wait for nearly another month because there were no delivery slots left.

We have now finished unpacking and putting away all our belongings and, aside for the damaged ones described above, we are not missing or have found any more damage to any other item.

The men who packed all my belongings were careful with everything and remained cheerful all through.
At the new property there was one change of remover but still as excellent as before.
My family and I unpacked boxes as fast as we could so the men were able to take the empty ones away.

An absolutely excellent removal company! We found Bournes via Sonny’s Removals in Sevenoaks, having noted their 5* reviews when researching on the internet. It seems that Bournes are the parent company. From our first enquiry to waving the team goodbye, we felt in capable hands throughout the whole process. Everyone in the team, from office staff to those we met in person, was efficient and helpful. On the day Kevin, Rick and Charlie were friendly, cheerful and very professional, packing everything speedily and with great care. After a long wait because of a slow legal process, they unloaded at our new house incredibly efficiently. Bournes certainly lived up to their many 5* reviews.
