ORDER CANCELED WITHOUT NOTIFICATION!!!

Placed my order days ago. It went through. Days later I decided to check the status, if it had been shipped. I come to find out order was CANCELED!!!! No notification??? I was waiting for this item, and could have bought it elsewhere. Now it is most likely SOLD OUT. DO NOT SHOP HERE! PROBLEMS AND POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE! GO ELSEWHERE!

Spoken to 5 people give 4 different numbers, on hold for over 30 mins before hanging up and calling back. Issue is EMPLOYESS at Boscovs have different info re the MILITARY DISCOUNT PASS! 1.GOOD FOR A YEAR, 2. GOOD FOR 90 DAYS Then, you have to redo the process! WHO DOES THAT?? Boscovs customer service is of NO HELP cant even provide a contact number!!! Even though the website says IT'S THE CUSTOMER that has to follow through. So all of you MILITARY FAMILIES checkout their Policy for your military discount!!! As for me, I will be paying OFF my credit card and spending my DOLLARS elsewhere. That MEAN, "THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE"

Scam vibes DRIP from this place, but...

Scam vibes DRIP from this place. Ordered the shoes, got notification the shoes had been deliver via FedEx, but there are no shoes. (Who uses FedEx anymore anyway?!) We were home when they claimed to deliver. The delivery photo shows a package with an unreadable label being held in a man's hand against a grass/sidewalk background - not one iota of identifiable landscape. I checked our cameras - no delivery truck, not all day, in fact. Called customer service for both delivery and store - delivery hung up on me, the store said I needed to send them a photo of my front door in order to proceed with an investigation. I've never had to do that before? Ugh, I'm writing it off as a learned lesson and warning anyone who'll listen to steer clear.
UPDATED TO ADD: In the spirit of fairness, I'm coming back to say that the very next day, without me sending anyone any photos of any doors, the company called back to tell me they refunded the cost of the shoes (but not the shipping, which, lol.) I was surprised but impressed and grateful, so I'm giving credit where credit is due, and upping my 1 star to 3 stars.

Boscov's Credit Card - HIDDEN Interest Rate Charges and Late Fees

Boscov's credit card charges 31.24% interest from DATE OF PURCHASE. If you sign up for automated payments expect interest charges and late fees. Why??

Boscov's management refuses to acknowledge any affiliation with their own credit card provider, Comenity Bank. If you want to escalate the issue through Boscov's Management they refuse and defer the issue back to Comenity Bank. Sometimes Comenity answers the phone and sometimes they don't. Expect 30 minute hold times.

The incentives for opening a credit card are minimal -- an initial 15% off to kick off your credit card spending. An occasional $5.00 reward is sent to you in the mail. I was promised a BIG birthday and holiday coupon to incentivize me to open a credit card. I never got a coupon!

Shame on you Mr. Boscov for promoting your business through a flawed bank. I did not expect you to charge interest rates and late fees for on time automated payments. I did not expect you to promise coupons and incentives but never send them.

Remember... when you close a store credit card it NEGATIVELY impacts your credit score!!!

Great sketchers and even greater customer service from Kaveh

I purchased 2 pair of sketchers slip ons for my aunt for her 90th birthday because I wasn’t sure of her size. She absolutely loved them! But most importantly I want to comment on the young woman who waited on me. This was at the Boscov’s shoe department in Plymouth Meeting. Her name was Kaveh (I’m sorry if I got the spelling of her name wrong). I watched her when I bought the sneakers and when I returned them. She was so very kind and patient with each and every customer. Real kindness that comes from the heart. Thank you for having such a wonderful woman in your employ! And thank you Kaveh!!

Rejection Reciprocated

Yesterday, I attempted to place an order with Boscov online. The order was rejected all three times. I checked my account today and found out that the order had went through and a shipping label had been created. I called the company and was told that I would need to refuse the order or pay for return shipping myself. This is unreasonable since to my knowledge my order was never officially placed. I told them to cancel my account and I will never shop on their site again.

I had a wonderful experience at your cosmetic counter in Altoona Pa. Marlena Benson helped to pick a fragrance. She listened to me, suggested and tested several fragrances until I found one that I loved. She was patient, knowledgeable, and very sweet and kind. She is a true asset to your company. Bedding furniture

I ordered two new beds. Participated in Boscovs Dreamweaver program which entitles you 120 days to return a bed for comfort. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the firm bed that I ordered. It felt soft. I felt like I was falling off of it. It felt like a small toddler bed. It was on an adjustable base that I also selected. They set the bed up and it was so low to the ground. It was hard to stand up from. I come to find out that the bed had adjustable leg attachments that weren't included. I returned the bed and they sent me another bed. This time I upgraded to a Queen. I asked them to apply the 12 inch leg attachments so the bed could be at a standard showroom height as I saw the bed. When I upgraded I had to upgrade the adjustable frame as well. One thing I liked is that my original adjustable bed came with a massage option. After I recieved my upgrades, my new bed adjustable frame did not have a massage option. My salesman made no mention that I'd be receiving a new base without massage. I was very disappointed about that and again called Customer Service ordering a new base with massage.The mattress still felt the same. Extremely soft and I was sinking in and sliding off of it even though it was bigger. I ripped all the sheets off and found the mattress tag. It said the bed was a plush soft. Soft!? I ordered two firm beds. Even the other bed for another family member was soft.The whole time for two months I was given something that I didn't order. A $6,000 order repeatedly wrong. I called customer service and I finally got a firm Mattress after I upgraded again. With each mistake Boscovs made, I decided to upgrade because a bed is so important. I wanted quality and I wanted to sleep well. A bed is not an everyday purchase. It's a purchase you save for and in my case I was treating myself to with my hard earned money. The Sterns and Foster Estate Firm is a beautiful purchase which you can buy at another retailer. When they delivered my new adjustable base, that I upgraded to a Euro Temperpedic base, it was broken. The message on low option fumbled in operation. I called again to the salesman and customer service. They were nice however you could feel everyone was starting to lose patience and that infuriated me behind the scenes. I didn't want any return attitudes or impatience. I just wanted the wrong to be righted. It was not my fault that these things were happening. I paid my bill off a few weeks ago and today they delivered another base that supposedly works. The payment systems are questionable. All the exchanges. My card should have been zeroed out and the sale of what I bought finally should have been the only charges visible. The receipts were not transparent. The service policy that I paid into are questionable as well. That company wanted all sorts of pictures and information about the adjustable base that I wasn't given. When I called the store to ask about the receipt numbers, my salesman again didn't have that information. Terrible, really terrible.
When you just buy something and for the money that I paid, my expectation is that it works properly, and that the correct item that I selected is delivered. I have never been through anything like this with another furniture retailer. I have to say that I definitely would not purchase furniture from Boscovs Department Store again and I caution other people from purchasing. Buyer beware.

I also got ripped off by boscov’s & partner! Invested a lot of money and they kept throwing in bonuses that were items that were grossly overpriced! I just wanted my money back but they froze my account and unfortunately left me in the hole 43,000 dollars!! My so called mentor was from the UK and said everything I wanted to hear until I ran out of money!! Not a good platform to get involved with😪

I am from Canada. I was recently contacted by someone named Elisa on WhatsApp who’s supposed to be part of the recruitment department from Bosvov’s and Partners. She made a very quick briefing with me without providing with the necessary information. As she said it’s a great opportunity where I can make money by boosting the company’s reputation online, I decided to go through. As I was progressing, she talked about lucky bonus which usually put the account on the negative depending on the amount. When I asked what to do? She said that I need to recharge the account with my own money so I can keep on pushing orders. LBANK is the platform they use to have me buy USDT to recharge the account. As I got more than 3 lucky bonus, I invested more than $1250.00 CAD and as I refused to keep on doing that, they said if I don’t I will loose my money. So guys be very careful. When I first started, it Boscov’s and partners but now it’s Jeancoutu and partners pretending it was an update.

Rude and uneducated associate…

Boscov does not train their associates at all as one employee told me they are given limited training and learn on the fly while customers have to wait while the associate tries to figure out how to run the cash register and as soon as her relieve shows up she walks away and the security device was not removed. My husband and I had to go to a different register to have it removed and had all purchased rechecked and total transaction time took over 30 mins at store 361 Christiana DE at register 275071 1-13-2024 time 14:06 pm regular sale very disrespectful sales associate and would not let me leave until she finished figuring out why she had hit return and return and the new associate had to help and they she walked away even when the incoming assocate told her to remove it the security device. If I see her again I will not make a purchase at all.

they stole my money

They took 300 usd on my account while i don’t even lnow that website.
People use false credit card and the website doesn’t even secure payment…
They don’t respond to stop the transaction.

I'm from the eu

I'm from the eu, never went there, neither did i ever visit the website.
Yet this holdiay period i started to receive constant spam marketing mails, where i already 5 times unsubscribed, with no effect.
Trash, they probably buy mail addresses to send their marketing trash to.

Yes a very great store have been shopping there for 20 plus years or more but on 10/13-2023 we where return a curtain the lady in the curtain department was not very helpful there was not a return label on the outside to determine whether it came from there but I had my receipt and she still says I don't think the curtain came from (Boscov's) she did not look any further so she walked away after my mom gave her the receipt then she came back saying it again I don't think these curtains came from here so I said let me look inside maybe some inside tag and it said curtains she said that's not our curtain we do not sell any curtain with this name so we was trying to explain again and my mom said we did buy the curtains from boscov's I gave you the receipt so I told my mom not to say anything then she told my mom yeah you shut up I told her don't say that that's very unprofessional I said my mom 91 years old I don't even tell her to shut up can you get your manager maybe she can help and I told the employee to stop yelling please stop but she kept going and waving her hand all in front of the always the customer was walked through the lady in the curtain department work at 10:00 a.m. in Voorhees boscov's curtain department she was very very rude very unprofessional and I know she's up in that age and I know she know better 60 plus unacceptable shouting her name cuz I told her I was going to report her but your manager was very very helpful. Something need to be done cuz how many seniors that comes in here that she gets an attitude with I don't know I would not want anybody else to go through that and you had customers in the store please correct that problem or her attitude.

Ridiculous to change password every 3 months

I love Boscov's! I shop there and I order "a lot" online. Unfortunately a year ago they "upgraded" there system but now you have to change your password every three months! PLUS the new password cant be close to the previous ones. SERIOUSLY!!!? Seems like they have security issues now. Nobody has time for this let alone having to remember a dozen passwords. It's a shame especially for people who aren't computer literate or being elderly. I'm having a hard time being a loyal customer when it's become a royal pain! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Wanna come back to being a loyal customer

I love Boscov! You get good quality clothes for less the Walmart..My problem is corporate as to be seeing the complaints from ppl that shop their regular to barely ever now.. Employees and its the majority of the women are very rude for no reason especially if an elderly has trouble hearing her..I witness this several times or it a joke to find a station opened finally i when I do find someone to ring me out its 2 girls working the same register just one ringing and 1 bagging..Dont need a bagger heed more then 1 station open
Please fix it for your loyal customers so we can return and enjoy are all again...Nothing worse then a cashier thats frustrated by just saying hello..If u don't wanna listen to customers and think were just bring a Karen.Go in any buy something in any dept..lol

tried 33 times to get a real person at customer service.... was on hold hours per day...never reached anyone.....now i will never ever shop here again....

they have not answered the 14 emails i sent either....

SHOP ELSEWHERE

Online ordering is a nightmare. The website is stuck in the 80s and poorly designed otherwise. Multiple orders were cancelled without notification and when I phoned the CS line, members of that team were rude and dismissive. I’ve yet to understand why these orders were cancelled and sadly was unable to send the gifts in time for the holiday in which they were purchased. Shop elsewhere unless you enjoy headaches.
