We had the honeymoon holiday of a lifetime in Africa and it was with huge thanks to James and the Bomamy team for their help planning, arranging and assisting us throughout. They were always available, supportive and full of ideas and experience and help.

Could not recommend Bonamy any higher!

We had an incredible experience booking our family trip around Namibia with Bonamy. From start to finish, the process was attentive and well-organised.
The team were knowledgeable and very helpful throughout, with a special mention to James—his expertise and understanding of the destination really stood out. His recommendations were spot on and made a huge difference to the overall trip.
Namibia itself was unforgettable, and having everything so thoughtfully planned meant we could fully enjoy the experience as a family. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Bonamy again!

Toby and the crew make travel planning delightful. The previous year, they crafted an itinerary for us to explore Namibia by car, concluding in Cape Town—a feat other agencies deemed challenging. Recently, we returned from the Okavango Delta, where they organized accommodations at three lodges, offering us amazing insights into the Delta's diverse landscapes. We couldn't praise them enough!

We decided on a safari holiday just over a month before the start of the time slot we had available and had made some preliminary enquiries of some major names when a friend mentioned James as a particularly good travel agent to get in touch with. As soon as we made contact with him it became obvious that this was going to be a much more personalised experience than we had ever had on several previous similar holidays. After the parameters of the holiday we wanted were put to him we quickly received a suggested outline which nearly met our requirements and a short discussion enabled the perfect programme to be agreed. After that, all the necessary bookings were speedily put in hand and notified to us in detail. James and his team dealt with the airlines, arranged the assistance at the air terminals that my husband needed and amended the original flight bookings when our daughter very kindly paid to upgrade us from the original economy class. Nothing that we needed to know well before the start of the holiday had not been covered. We set out for it completely at ease. As to the holiday itself, all three camps that James had recommended were first rate in all respects. The icing on the cake was that the game viewing surpassed anything we had previously experienced and James had secured a reduction in cost for the stay at the lodges. The holiday could not have been more efficiently organised and done in a more pleasant and personal way. We would not think of using anybody else for a similar holiday in future.

I was introduced to Toby through another expert travel guide who said that if he were booking his own honeymoon in Africa, he would call Toby.

Toby and the team at Bonamy designed the most epic honeymoon in Tanzania. Toby took his time and was so knowledgeable about all areas of Africa. Being a local made all the difference as we felt we had true first-hand knowledge of every lodge. I cannot recommend working with them enough. Every detail was considered and between the app, the portal, and the on-call access we felt so taken care of. The service was TOP-TIER and everyone was so lovely.

I recently got back from my honeymoon, which was booked through Bonamy and I couldn't recommend enough. Toby took the time to hear about what I wanted and put an itinerary together that was absolutely perfect. At no point did I feel under pressure from him or the team to book anything I wasn't interested in, and the trip itself was absolutely brilliant - we felt looked after every step of the way.

The seamless coordination of travel through 4 countries in Africa, the quality of the lodges, and the knowledgeable and experienced guides/trackers made for an extraordinary experience. We were originally planning to travel in January, but my wife contracted COVID 2 days before our planned departure. We contacted Bonamy and the team put together virtually the identical itinerary in May with no significant cost adjustments.

Toby and the team were exceptional from the initial conversations planning our trip (safari in South Africa, followed by a beach holiday in Mauritius), throughout the time we were there until we got back. They were also so understanding and flexible when some unexpected life changes meant having to make a few last-minute changes to the initial itinerary!
Toby provided an incredible range of personalised options, in a range of areas in South Africa and Botswana - each very carefully chosen to suit our budget and preferences. We were spoilt for choice and Toby always made himself available to help us make decisions and to give advice and guidance to experiences we would never have been able to access without him.
Our itinerary was perfectly put together and the whole trip could not have been smoother, with Toby always at hand if needed.
The holiday was perfect and the safari Toby booked for us was truly spectacular - with every possible surprise, experience and unforgettable moment that you could imagine, as well as the most wonderful team! We were completely blown away.

Bonamy organised a fantastic month-long trip to Tanzania seamlessly. Very professional picture presentation of the itinerary that brought it to life. They listened to exactly what we wanted and made it happen for us. We will go with them again next time.

Toby and the team are a joy to use. Last year they arranged a trip for us to drive around Namibia and end in Cape Town which other travel agents said was difficult to do. This year we have just come back from the Okavango Delta where they arranged stays in 3 lodges giving us a wonderful view of the different habitats in the Delta. Can not recommend them more highly

Bonamy is the best! James truly went above and beyond with every single piece of our itinerary in Rwanda. Never had someone more detailed help us out on a trip and highly recommend working with Bonamy.

We had heard about Bonamy from a friend who had just come back from Africa. This was a large bucket list trip for us. From the start James wanted to know all about us and how we travel After the interview James came back with ideas for the itinerary which we loved. Every stop along our trip fit what we wanted to see and our personality. From the safari’s to Victoria Falls to Cape Town and then to top it off the wine country it was all beyond expectations. Our accommodations and restaurant suggestions were spot on. Could not pick a favorite as they were all different and fit in with where we were at that time.

We have used travel companies before but none that meet the level of care that Bonamy showed.
The catch up prior to providing us with a draft plan for our trip was so useful as it makes you really think about what you want to do, see and experience on your trip. I was interested that they wanted to talk about previous holidays wanting to know what was great about them and why to help build your itinerary.
There were then further calls where we refined the plan with them.
We have just returned from our 2 weeks in Kenya where we had 3 parts to the trip, 2 Safari Camps and finishing with a beautiful few days relaxing at a Beach Resort and we couldn’t be more pleased.
Every aspect of the trip was fantastic the Camps and Resort exceeded our expectations, the internal travel gave us the opportunity to see more of Kenya on small planes, train and of course vehicles too and went so smoothly.
Whilst you are away it’s comforting to know that you have a support network in place if you need it leaving you to just relax and enjoy and we loved the follow up call with Toby on our return as you want to share your amazing experiences and who better to do that with than the person who helped put it together.

Toby and the team at Bonamy were absolutely brilliant from start to finish - long before we got on a plane in the planning phase, to during our trip, and even after we arrived home again.

Prior to using Bonamy, I would not have regularly used travel experts. Our experience with Bonamy has totally changed my opinion and now I would classify myself as an advocate for them - from the detailed planning, ongoing advice, patience, service levels, availability to discuss, seamless execution and flow, constant thoughtfulness etc !!. This is all down to Bonamy and so I could not recommend the team highly enough.

The trip was seamless and stress free from a logistics perspective, with a number of honeymoon upgrade surprises throughout.

To sum Bonamy up - they go the extra mile, at every stage, and I am very glad that we used them for our trip.

Bonamy was recommended to us by a colleague / friend to plan our safari honeymoon. We've never been on safari before so started from a very low base in terms of knowing what exactly we wanted and what budget we should be allocating to the trip. It was also the first time we had used as a travel agent to plan a holiday. We had spoken to a few of the bigger agencies but found the experience quite generic and hard to trust the advice we were being given. Bonamy however provided a completely personal experience and we couldn't recommend them anymore.

They took the time to understand us as a couple over a Zoom call so they could put suggestions forward which they thought would suit our taste and lifestyle choices. They provided us with a selection of 'bronze - silver - gold' options. We were torn between two options and both required tweaking to suit our budget. We eventually settled on an option of two camps - one of which covered a more luxurious and cultural element to our honeymoon and the other is a more traditional safari experience. Toby and James were so patient with us whilst we figured out for ourselves exactly what we wanted out of the trip and what budget we were comfortable with. Their expertise in logistics and sourcing 'honeymoon offers' managed to bring the costs down to a number we were comfortable with. We had so many questions before we felt ready to make a decision and they always responded very quickly and in a huge amount of detail.

We are confident we have now planned the perfect itinerary for us thanks to their invaluable insight - thank you Toby and James!

We decided to go with Bonamy to organize - or rather let them organize - our honeymoon in Namibia after they were referred to us by friends that shared their experience there with us.
What can we say other than this was a recommendation for the ages ?
We started discussing early on with James, who quickly set up a 2 weeks long clockwise round trip around almost the whole territory of Namibia for us. Everything was close to perfection, the initial itinerary was great but they were quick to adapt to our few requests (places we specifically wanted to visit more than others, or activities we insisted on doing or not).
The itinerary was thoroughly complete, with detailed explanations on the sites we were visiting, the activities that they pre-booked for us there, the do's and don'ts of the country, some really useful tips on the local culture... Nothing was missing to make this trip perfect.
We went for the full self-driving tour, and every step of the journey was detailed to perfection. We almost got lost the only time we decided to trust Google Maps when the more-than-precise driving instructions would have avoided such a situation...

At no point did we feel like this was a standard trip that we didn't have any insights on. And getting there with EVERYTHING taken care of (car rental, every hotel/lodge/camp booking, places to visit, pre-booked and bonus activities on site...) was such a relief that we could really focus on the main reason we went there in the first place : having the time of our life without worrying a single second about the logistics or planning.
And we did !

Hats off to Bonamy (and James in particular), you made this once-in-a-lifetime trip as memorable as we wanted it to be for this more than special occasion.
