You can NEVER book in advance
You can NEVER book in advance. All session slots are always taken up. Only day slots available.Everything has to be booked. Not like normal gym. Cannot just arrive and enjoy. Never any evening slots available. Clearly, someone knows when to go on and book in advance even if they don’t want it. Crazy!!!! Not worth the money….

We're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced while trying to make bookings.
Our fitness class slots are released 7 days in advance at 22:00 if you're trying to secure an evening class.
Popular classes may be more in demand, and we're deeply saddened to know that you've been unable to attend these sessions.
Regarding the gym, we are more flexible with these bookings, but we advise our members to book in advance to help avoid overcrowding.
We greatly value your comments regarding this, and we hope you can secure your desired booking times.

The gym induction wasn't good at all
The gym induction wasn't good at all. I was booked from 7 to 8, the trainer was 14mins late, no apologies. We went to the gym and he just asked which machine you don't recognise and that was it the induction finished in 10mins. He wasn't happy to be here, I didn't even try to ask him any questions. Waste of time

Great Customer Service
The customer service I received was brilliant. I wasn’t sure which membership plan would be best for me, but David was very helpful in explaining the options and helping me choose the right one. He made the process simple and easy to understand.

Fantastic leisure centre-we play badminton & the staff ensure the courts are setup, lights & water facilities are in full working order!!!
Any queries/requests are always swiftly and promptly dealt with-always a pleasant experience to use the centre.

Returning to Thornton Heath leisure centre
Returning to the leisure centre after a few years away has been a truly great experience. From the warm and helpful greeting at the front desk to the expertise of Montell in the gym and Michelle’s energy and patience in the fitness classes, the entire team have made me feel right at ease. I’d especially like to thank Ryan, the manager; he was incredibly attentive and caring, taking the time to listen to me and offer genuine solutions. It’s also great to see how well maintained the facility is, the cleanliness is a testament to the staff's hard work. I’m so happy to be back.

Great leisure center!
I love this leisure center I’m here everyday , always greeted with a smile from either Kristina or David on the desk, the whole squad of friendly helpful lifeguards. Clwont name everyone by name now but just today I was doing a big swim and I came in late when there are only 2 lanes because of school swimming lessons. It got a bit busy with different speeds in the faster lane and Elliott had the foresight to widen the lane to accommodate everyone. This was a great unprompted move and we all really appreciated it! Big thanks see you tomorrow. This place is a lifeline to me. We’ve built a great community through swimming , the sauna , gym and table tennis. Thank you to everyone that works here and also to Ryan for facilitating our ideas to have a table tennis drop in. Please let’s get another table ! 😉

friendly staff-place is dirty
The staff are very friendly and helpful, which is the only positive thing I can say. The rest is very disappointing. The place is extremely dirty. A specially swimming pool area. No overshoes are provided, and everyone is walking around in outdoor shoes. The toilets are also unclean. Only two showers are working, which is clearly not enough. In addition, the air conditioning in the changing rooms is running at full power, making it very uncomfortable.

Came in looking to sign up for a membership,
Wanted to understand what membership would be best for me,
Luke the manager assisted me and went through explaining all the different kind of memberships there was on offer and helped me chose one that best suited my needs.
I felt very valued and not rushed,
amazing customer service!
Will definitely be recommending to family member's and friends.
