The delivery and disassembly/assembly work (Driver: SEAN, Driver Assistant: ANDY) of my bed and mattress is excellent, together with the ordering.

Helpful, friendly staff, not pushy, lots of good advice

I wouldn’t use Bensons for Beds again and wouldn’t recommend either. I bought two beds and two mattresses and was very surprised that the delivery fee was an extortionate £75.

When I vocalised my surprise at the fee, the gentleman in the shop told me that that covered taking away the wrapping for the beds and the mattresses and that I could even ask the delivery driver to assemble the bed when it arrived.

None of this was true and what I though would be a simple and easy way to buy beds turned out to be a trip to the tip with a van in order to get rid of the large levels of plastic and cardboard wrapping the beds and the mattresses were encased in and my building them myself.

I have been left with the feeling that the salesman just told me absolutely anything to secure the sale and he wasn’t bothered about the impact of him telling untruths in order to get it.

I rang the shop on the same day to speak to the gentleman who had sold me the beds just for him to lie again and say that he was surprised they didn’t take the wrapping away and that he would ring his manager and that he would call me back with a refund on the delivery fee. He never did.

I have attempted to sort the matter out with the customer services department via email since 6th August but to no avail.

Rubbish service for overpriced beds.

I was delighted with my experience buying from Benson for Beds. Everyone from store to delivery was helpful and friendly. My order was handled efficiently and I’m very pleased with the product.
Would certainly recommend.

The service in the Altrincham store was excellent! They were so patient and couldn’t have done more.

Very pleased with my purchase, although it hasn’t been delivery yet the experience so far has been fantastic and no hassle whatsoever.

The guy in the showroom was excellent. He came over to help us, but didn't hang around. He was there when we needed him. Very helpful & friendly.
The delivery guys were okay, but one of them was a little heavy handed & damaged our ceiling. The company rang later that day & offered to pay for repairs, but I feel that if he'd have taken his time, it wouldn't have happened. We have sorted it out ourselves.

From entering the store to leaving we were made to feel very welcome. The staff are very helpful and funny, we love bit of banter whilst shopping. The boys answered all our questions with professionalism. Thank you for the lovely cup of coffee ☕️

he was helpful and explained everything to us.

The delivery guys (delivering a new mattress) noticed some of the screws on my bed had not been put in when built, it had not been built by Bensons originally (built by a friend) and they kindly went to the van and got the screws and fixed my bed and made it secure for me, they didnt have to do that and I think that was just a kind gesture which I appreciated thank you guys

I would have given 6 stars apart from on delivery day I paid for installation and taking away of rubbish but apparent this was for the bed only - the bedside cabinet was not included and I should have been informed when ordering - no big issue as was easy to put together but it meant I had a trip to the top to dispose of all the packaging that I thought I had already paid for disposal

As soon as we walked into the store Dmytro walked over and helped us he was friendly polite and efficient.

Despite arriving 30 mins before closing time we had the personal attention of one of the salesmen who asked questions to work out what type of mattress might be most suitable for us. He then took us to see and try several different types so we could experience the different degrees of hardness/ softness until we found one that both of us found comfortable. Although we were aware that it was past closing time, we were never given the impression that we ought to hurry up - quite the contrary! Thank you for your help and guidance.

Very helpful sales staff. Delivery, set up and removal of old mattress exactly as promised.

Jonathan was very knowledgeable about the product. Pleasant manner and didn't rush us to make a decision. Friendly atmosphere. One of the best experiences we have had when purchasing a large item. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very efficient and helpful and this applies to the delivery men as well.

Salesman was very good, extremely helpful in making choice of mattress.

Not impressed by delivery men.

It was a great experience. I didn't know how to choose right mattresses at all. Jonathan helped us to choose right one and explained everything.
