Useless to deal with

Waited a week to have wardrobes fitted, eventually they were put in tues the 2 guys did a great job but made the most stupid error - they put it in front of my brand new blinds now the blinds can’t be put down at night as no one can get their hands on the 1mm gap left - absolute pathetic!! I’ve rang the store I’ve travelled to the store & guess what no one is available & there’s no manager !! Yesterday I got told they will be back to you today - guess what still waiting

Rang the online number that rang me to see what’s happening again no manager to take call & no one from online dept to take call - joke!!

By us paying we’re paying towards your wage!! Get workers who are not completely stupid blocking a blind honest to god! This would take 1 min to fix but bargain town would rather negativity & bad reviews
They also left all cardboard here from floors & wardrobes saying it’s too big - eh sorry was it too big when you loaded it in to your van? No!! Your just lazy & dirty v bad workmanship , we paid supply & fit

I will never ever again step inside bargaintown its filthy & has holes in the roof with buckets all over the floor ( for years) catching rain drops health & safety/ environmental health would have a field day & they deserve a report as a paying customer it’s my right to feel safe & not worry about slipping or falling over buckets

In reply to your reply! My husband was told it has to go on this wall, my husband asked what about the blinds they said there would be space which there was!! We’re not here to debate we’re here to tell the truth it would be great if your staff did the same! Who on earth wants a wardrobe over their blinds? Blinds get opened in the day & closed at night but we can’t go either as your fitters blocked the chain in behind the wardrobe they fitted!

Respect is earned & not given - your online support is not given much support - over a week waiting on a call back or any communication .. frankly it’s disgusting behaviour .. SHAME ON BARGAINTOWN

It needs to be moved a couple of inches , as said wardrobe is lovely it’s the stupity yes the stupidity of the fitters to block the blinds -

I had flooring put in my new place and the man they sent to do the job made a mess of things. I emailed Bargaintown and Gerry got right back to me and sorted everything out wilh no bother. You will know Gerry but his wonderful Dublin accent. He sent two professionals and they fixed everything in about three hours.
I also bought a desk and bed from Bargaintown. The bed is absolutely wonderful. I have never slept so well and the desk is perfect for my flat. Tonya was the one responsible for the bed and desk.
High praises to Bargaintown. I will definitely buy things there again.

I paid €5,000 to Bargintown for carpets in my hall, stairs, landing, and four bedrooms, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.

The fitting took around three weeks because the fitter repeatedly let me down, turning up one day and then not the next. This caused unnecessary delays and frustration.

Once the carpets were finally fitted, I noticed a gap in one of the bedroom carpets which was patched up, the repair is clearly visible and you can still see the line where the carpet was joined. Parts of the carpet on the stairs also became loose after installation and in two of the bedrooms.

I contacted the company on at least three separate times to have these issues addressed. While they made attempts to fix the problems, there are still areas on the stairs that feel loose.

No matter the cost, I expected a much higher standard of workmanship and customer service. Unfortunately, the quality of the installation and the overall experience was atrocious. I would definitely not recommend this company.

We ordered floors of Myron. Very easy to deal with explained the whole process. Paul the fitter called a half hour before arriving. He was there for the day and did 3 full rooms. Very nice man and would highly recommend

Really bad experience with bargaintown belgard,
A couple of weeks ago I had 600 euro carpet on stairs and landing which unfortunately was fitted very badly here's what happened after the fitter arrived in bad form and hurried the job

*Firstly he failed to bring carpet to meet the floor in one of the bedrooms due to the fact a 2 inch saddle board was remaining despite bringing it flush on all other bedrooms,this looks ridiculous but
Perhaps I didn't emphasize enough how I wanted it done I assumed it was obvious and common sense and due to the demeanor of fitter I stayed away and didn't over see his work ..I regret this now.
* A very noticeable bump remains in front of hotpress door were the carpet wasn't pulled tight enough,the carpet is also lifting on some stairs when hoovered.
*To add to this an unnecessary bar which was not part of the plan and wasn't what I paid for was placed on bathroom tiles join with carpet,due the the fact the fitter failed to check door would still close with this bar the door needed to be removed and shaved and rehung ...all of which I didn't want or need the door closed perfectly prior to this bar being fitted.I was not shown bar before fitting I didn't want anything glued to my tiles that's why I paid 40 euro
(10er each) for gripper bars none of which were used btw.
-- bargaintown arranged this door shave at my expense of 40 euro.I had no choice as removing the bar would of cracked my floor tiles.

Next issue
*The person who shaved and then rehung the door cracked 2 bathroom wall tiles - which he apologized for and repaired a week later as best he could.
All of this was unnecessary and down to the not wanted or needed bar that was fitted without permission.
So the situation went from bad to worse basically at every turn and when I reached out and complained about the service the response was hot headed /angry and not pleasant.

Due to all the above I would absolutely recommend avoiding bargaintown......the attitude from staff was atrocious it's very clear they obviously don't care about customer service.
If anyone from head office would like to discuss the above with me id be happy to do so,but I don't wish to hear from belgard again. No thanks.

Ordered online - really happy with the quality of the furniture delivered and good value for money.

Online service was very easy to use to order the new bed. Bit short notice for delivery date. As no correspondence between date of order and notice of delivery. ( Days notice ) But delivered at time stated so not much disruption to normal routine

Ordering at Christmas, I knew it would be busy but I was assured they would let me know as soon as they had a delivery slot available and true enough a day later I had one! Arrived on time, lovely delivery men, very happy!

I got a large wardrobe from bargain town last month and was put up nice and perfect but when it was put up my tv was knocked off its stand and smashed when I complained they sent someone out the next day and paid for there mistake the situation was handled with pure class and would definitely deal with them again very helpful and very understanding thanks again 👍🏼

Excellent. Rang with day and time of delivery , and was there when said. Bed was same as shown on website

While the product I received was faulty and poor quality, the after sales service was amazing. Prompt response to my email with refund following almost immediately. 5+ stars for service.

Got floors and had bargaintown lay them
Big mistake layed them to tight so lifted in the middle
Took 4 weeks to get them back to look at it said he would be back tomorrow to fix it never showed up
Called again told me floor was damp ( it’s not or never was)
I spent thousands in these shops ever year not any more will be telling ever landlord I work for

Very bad quality spent 500 on a bed to break 2 months later
