I wish I had read the reviews before I had made an order. I ordered an item which came quite quickly, however the item I received was not as described. The measurements on the website are a joke. I ordered an XL and received an item that wouldn't fit an anorexic child. I returned the order to them, and these thieves are requesting I pay £8.99 in postage for a poor quality, misrepresented item I don't have. The only bonus is I ordered through klarna as I usually do for new companies, I deal with. So they're going to have to wait for the payment.

Truly awful experience
Truly awful experience. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. They took over 2 weeks to ship my order, then shipped it to the wrong address, then tried to tell me it was my responsibility to return the package to them. I reported them to AMEX and got my money back.
Do not order from these thieves!
Ordered some items before Christmas. A serving board was poorly packaged so broken on arrival. Returned the item no refund after a month. No response to emails. No answer on the phone. Managed to call shop they were powerless. In Feb managed to get customer services they said refund was incoming. No refund for a month. Now emailing/calling again it's end of March. Thieves!
Not all bad
I was looking for a second pair of Veja Rio Branco trainers, my first pair are worn through being my most comfortable shoes to date. I ordered them from Article London for a great price. But then I checked the reviews here and dreaded problems with my order. Also when you click on their Instagram page they’re operating under a different company? Not a great sign. They’ve just arrived, boxed and in great nick and within 2 days. I’m delighted. Admittedly I didn’t need to involve customer service which appears to be other people’s main issue. But if I’d read reviews first I wouldn’t have ordered from here
An stressful experience
An unnecessarily stressful experience. I returned one of the three items I purchased in accordance with the returns policy. One week and a half following the returned item being received (confirmed via Royal Mail tracking) I had heard nothing to confirm receipt. I sent numerous emails and messages through the website but no response. After three weeks passed I had to seek a chargeback through my credit card. Then someone issued a refund immediately. A bit of a shame as they stock many brands.
I had a really bad experience
The quality of the products is really bad… as well as the costumer service.
Cheated out of £385
1. Ordered a pair of Paraboot Loafers worth £385 in Summer 2023.
2. Loafers arrive without having been double boxed, box arrives completely damaged with lid split.
3. I wear the £385 shoes a grand total of 3 times before the stitching on one the shoes breaks and renders them unwearable.
4. I contact Article to make them aware I have been sold a faulty pair of shoes. Article initially respond quickly, and offer to provide me with a replacement pair.
5. Two weeks pass without any contact, in which time they have changed their mind and instead tell me to send my shoes to a repairer, which they will pay for.
6. I send my shoes to the repairer, which arrive back a week later. The stitching is poor and does not match the other shoe, and not only that, the repairers have rubbed black boot polish all over the fabric elements of the shoes, including the green paraboot tag and white stitched welting... causing irreversible damage.
7. I contact article, sending photos of the shoes and politely ask for a refund or a replacement. After c. 6 weeks of to-ing, fro-ing and chasing, they eventually say that the repair is up to their satisfaction and the matter is closed.
I was sold a faulty pair of shoes, which after about 3 months of messing around with these people, now look even worse than when I started this whole palaver. These shoes cost £385... and came back from the repairers looking worse than when I sent them off - Article refusing to take responsibility or even request a refund from the repairers. I can't even sell these on because they're damaged. They should have just exchanged them for a new pair on day one given they were clearly faulty.
My advice would be to buy elsewhere - if you run into any issues with an expensive item of clothing, expect an extremely long, drawn out process which will eventually lead to you losing your money anyway.

First sent me the incorrect item, wrong images on their website!
Then had a few days of trying to get a returns label off them!
Sent the goods back 12 days ago and still haven’t received a refund! Have sent them proof of their receipt of the return and no response!
Will never deal with this terrible business again!
Painful experience dealing with these
Painful experience dealing with these. You posted 2 different coloured items to me. I’ve returned and you refunded me for one. Now I have to go through the process of a second refund. I asked for an exchange as you clearly had the item I wanted in stock and you tell me it’s not in stock. Just completely incompetent service. Last time I spend money with you.
Terrible Experience - AVOID
Awful. No confirmation of the order. Shoes turn up and the box is all smashed, the invoice and the packaging inside are all ripped up, and the shoes have clearly BEEN WORN!! Attempts to contact for compensation/refund have been met with silence. AVOID.
Order cancelled a week after ordering - no information provided
Placed an order for two items - a week later the order was cancelled without any additional information being given. This seems to happening increasingly with online retailers that don’t seem to be capable of managing their stock. Frustrating.
Appalling post-order experience
It's my first time using Article and the post-order experience was terrible:
1. The order was delivered in two separate deliveries in different times without any notification.
2. An item was out of stock but listed as in stock online. Customer service got in touch asking if I wanted a swap. I responded yes but didn't hear back from them.
3. An item has wrong measurement online: when I received the item, it was significiantly smaller.
4. When I rang customer service, the staff on the phone was not professional and not friendly. It was only when I mentioned I would make a formal complaint that they said sorry (in a rather non-committed way). They also gave me the reason that they had not responded to my request for an item swap because I rang the customer service first before they could respond. For clarity, I rang them AFTER partial items in my order were delivered and received. I was so confused as to what was happening to the rest of my order.
5. The reciepts in the package are so confusing that it was very difficult to ascertain if the order was complete.
The overall post-sale experience was appalling and there are other more customer-friendly competitors online that are much better. I am seriously considering never to use Article again.
Good choice of mens clothing but refund is taking a while
Good choice of mens clothing and a range of decent brands on their website. Am still waiting for a refund on returned items though so this has put me off ordering from them again until it's sorted.
