Excellent customer service - I'd order again
I can't match the other reviews with my experience. I ordered Elfa parts for a unit. They contacted me 8 working days later to say the top panel was no longer in stock, but that wasn't as important to me as everything else. They promptly issued a refund.
The goods arrived a few days later, well packed and perfect. That's when I realised I'd orderd the wrong size crossbars and emailed them. They sent out replacements within a couple of days - well before I posted back the wrongly-ordered crossbars.
The only reason they don't get 5* is for the delay between the order and getting it into the post. Otherwise - excellent service!

I placed an order for 4 boxes on 1st Decemeber 2023, it is now 8th Jan 2024
I was told after chasing this with no other comms it would be 2-4 weeks. I said OK. over 4 weeks has elapsed. I have sent 3 emails (delivered) rang 6 times and left vm messages.
I JUST WANT A REFUND. I lost patience ordered a similar product off Amazon on Monday and they arrived Tuesday.
Now I want a REFUND. I am posting this so you will hopefully be shamed into actually replying to me.
PS I can prove i sent the emails and made the calls and left the messages that you ignored, so pls do not say I didn't- if you post that as a public reply here that would be libellous.
ALL I WANT IS A REFUND AND TO SAY GOODBYE.,

Overall pretty poor
Absolute shambles with delivery, not entirely their fault but really not good enough at all. Luckily they refunded my entire order as it took so long to come. Im glad they did, because when my item arrived I was more than disappointed with it. Poor quality, tiny in size compared to online images and just all round not worth the price tag. Glad they did the refund early as I would've requested one anyway.

Placed an order for storage boxes last…
Placed an order for storage boxes last month. Company emailed a few days later to say the items were not in stock. I have emailed asking for a refund as they are unable to fulfil the order. I haven’t had a reply. Very poor. Will not be recommending.

Terrible company to deal with
If I could I would give the company no stars but it doesn’t allow it !!! I order an item from this company and paid the extra postage for next day delivery to which it has not arrived 5 days later despite emailing the company and tried to phone them multiple times with no one answering the phone I would advise anyone to stay away from this company as the customer service is horrific

Poor Customer Service - Returns are a Scam and not worth it
Poor customer service. Unfortunately, on arrival I noticed it was larger than I was expecting, which was my mistake.
I tried sending it back and they gave me 3 options:
1) "We can either arrange a courier collection for you that would cost £9.95 per parcel to come off your refund amount - this can be arranged for a particular day and will go ahead between standard working hours so please ensure that someone will be available to hand over the returning parcels. If the collection fails this will result in further charges to be deducted from the total refund amount for each additional attempt"
2) Alternatively, you can package the items up and return them to us yourself
I requested the courier collection and they arranged a 6 hour slot on a given day. The courier never came. They rearranged a further 6 hour slot on a given day - The courier never arrived. I even offered my mobile number for when this 'courier' arrived to contact me. Funnily enough, the said 'courier' they arranged it with was meant to be ParcelForce, but when they arrived in our building to deliver packages, our concierge even asked them about the pick up and they denied having any knowledge of this and said it was not on their system.
The whole return process is a scam. They made me waste 12 hours of my life just waiting for someone they never contacted. It seems that they are endeavouring to have these multiple 'failed collections' so they do not need to refund you the money. If you're thinking of returning - you might as well count that money as good as gone.

Disappointing customer service.
Disappointing customer service.
Unfortunately the product I ordered was bigger than I was expecting, my error.
But the process of sending it back, communication and subsequent, very reduced refund was poor.
I had to regularly chase them to find out what was happening, they didn’t respond to emails and it cost me £20 to return which is in tiny small print.
Be aware if ordering ‘bulky’ items.

APFE Poor workmanship & worse Service
I bought a kitchen trolley from APFE for £780. The item is sub standard, poorly made with second rate workmanship.
I will post pictures tomorrow, but, be very wary of this company as even though I provided photos of this shoddily made item to APFE almost a month ago, they are apparently “looking into this”

Lovely product and great customer service
Gorgeous ceramic jars which I ordered for storing tea bags. Unfortunately one arrived with some scratches on it and there were no more in stock with which to replace it but customer services instantly offered me a partial refund for the damaged jar which I gratefully accepted. Travis in customer services was a delight to deal with. He was quick to respond and helpful in his responses. Overall really pleased with the items and would order from this site again.
A catalogue of errors eventually resolved satisfactorially

My issues have now been resolved and I have received all that I originally ordered undamaged. It took another week and a few more struggles with the couriers but the two ladies (K and C) who helped me sort things from APFE couldn't have been more apologetic or supportive in trying to resolve matters. The packaging for the replacement items was done very professionally and robustly which meant things weren't damaged (despite being with APC for nearly a week). The packaging was a significant improvement on the original delivery.

I am sorry to be writing this review and I realise you are a small company but my experience as a customer has been amongst the worst I've had with any online retailer. It's not just been one small mistake but a continuous series of poor customer service and low quality.
I ordered an Elfa wardrobe package on the 15th January (1 month ago) and paid extra (£16.25) for a "nominated day" delivery. I took that nominated day off work to receive the delivery. The delivery did not arrive on that day. When it did arrive the next day (an inconvenient day for me) the package via APC was crushed and the contents damaged. Additionally, a significant number of parts were missing whilst there was one extra thing in the package that wasn't part of my order and was of no use to me. One of the components (the clothes rail) has been hacksawed (badly) down to length and is no longer round so it won't accept the provided end plug. On the following Monday I heard back from the customer services and the lady was very nice. She apologised and worked out what parts were required for them to send (i.e. the missing bits) and what had to be replaced (i.e. the damaged bits). With several emails and phone conversations she agreed to get everything resent at a new date that suited me (today, Friday). I again took the day off work in order to receive the package. I got an email this morning saying they’d sent it (this morning) with a tracking link that doesn’t provide any information. I emailed them to query this and they didn’t respond today. Nothing arrived today (given it was only sent today, I guess it never was going to arrive today). I just (18:48) got an email from APC saying that they will deliver on Monday. I have to be at work on Monday! I don't know why they don't use a better courier (e.g. DPD) - I did say that I'd be prepared to pay more to have DPD as APC and Parcelforce are generally so weak.
I am very disappointed with this small company - I really wanted to have a good experience with them as there is plenty more of the wardrobe components that I'd really like to buy but I just don't trust that it would turn up either at all or undamaged.

It must have been about quarter past 11 on Tuesday,
was in the van by midday on Wednesday,
and was delivered to my door by 1pm on Thursday,
(so there was no need for Friday, Saturday or Sunday, so started chilling early on Thursday)!

Was it for real? Damn sure - what arrived was exactly what was advertised.
What was the deal? Umbra Homeware Wall Mounted / Over Door Multi Hook Organiser - Estique - Black Metal with Dark Wood for £21 each.
I confess I was a little nervous placing my order after reading the previous Trustpilot reviews of A Place for Everything/STORE but my order experience was faultless from the communications to the packaging.

The item I got looks nothing like the pictures. I ordered a pack of 4 storage tins that look very similar to the HAY ones. I thought I might as well get these since these were a little bit cheaper - was not worth it at all. The colours in real life look absolutely nothing like the pictures. On top of this, this store has a terrible refund policy so it’s simply not worth returning a £30 product you’d spend £10 for return fee on top of the £6 you’d already paid in postage.
I was tempted to buy other products from this store and I’m so glad I didn’t. I would definitely recommend avoiding

Update to my review: They since replied and refunded the delivery charge. Somehow next day delivery got logged as the following Saturday. I have received the product and their customer service was very helpful eventually.

Found this company by chance, found what I was looking for in an instant, that impressed with the product I bought 2 no problem from start to delivery, product is well made exactly what I was looking for
Missing items, no customer service
Eventually received our parcel through (the dreaded) Yodel, only to find an item missing and a packing slip with a question mark on it, despite being told it has despatched and being charged for it.
Tried to call customer service 5 times - no answer, voicemail only.

Solid furniture, bargain price
A tiny bit reluctant to order from APFE as they've had a few negative reviews. But decided to plunge and glad I did. No problems with delivery, and my walnut shoe cabinet is solidly made (although took a long time to assemble) and looks great.
Great range, great service.
I've just bought deep kitchen units with narrow shelves and needed baskets to be able to use the space properly. I'd spent ages hunting around on amazon and eBay for something the right size with no luck. A google search brought up 'A place for everything' and they had a brilliant range of storage and I was able to find exactly what I needed. I ordered on a Monday night, paid a £2 bump for speedy delivery and my order arrived lunch time on Wednesday. I got tracking alerts to give me a window for delivery and the order was absolutely spot on. I hadn't heard of the site before this but I'll be using it again. Brilliant.
First time buyer
Had never heard of this company and when I found items on their site for cheaper than anywhere else I was sceptical.
But I shouldn't have worried as the service was excellent. Email confirmation through instantly and the items arrived within four days, well packaged and exactly as described.
Great experience and I'll be using them again!
