Disappointed.…
My music was sent in a cardboard envelope which did not have 'do not bend' on it. Hence, the chimps that handle the post thought it was okay to bend it. So basically, my new music arrived as a second.
Thanks for the reply. Is that it? Incredulity and a promise to place a sticker on the envelope in the future? The music I have in my possession is now worth a fraction of what I paid for it. I could have bought it second-hand. I don't think I will be making any more purchases from A major music.

Oh dear God, that’s shocking. We use those cardboard envelopes deliberately to protect the contents. You’d think it was obvious! I’m so sorry, and can see why you’d be annoyed.
We normally put Do Not Bend stickers on envelopes. Maybe we need to start putting them on cardboard envelopes too.
Thank you for this feedback, and again, so sorry the book was bent.

I ordered a piece of music I wanted urgently, so followed up my online order with a quick email explaining the urgency. This was in the evening, but I got a personal emailed response from a staff member to say she’d make sure she got the item posted next morning before starting work in the shop. And that was what happened. I was so impressed.
