Learn to get rid of the cockroaches that have been living here with us for over four months in the kitchen and now in our living room. I mean there crawling the walls. Even ive picked up some in the day, tried to tell day staff but they were to busy to even care because they were sleeping and on their phone and i am a client. DO SOMETHING! How can you have us living like this. I feel sorry for the night staff who have to clean and find them.

I became branch manager in December 2019 and helped open a brand new branch of Alina Homecare. Since then we as a branch have come on leaps and bounds, and even through a very challenging first year with the pandemic I have felt thoroughly supported and safe at all times. In previous roles I have not felt like my ideas were welcome but all levels of my senior team right up to the Company Directors are so grateful to hear my experiences and suggestions and you really don't get that in many places at all.
I am very proud of our branch in particular and the culture we have created within my team really shines, and staff are really positive and excited about working here and for the growth of the branch.
Throughout the pandemic the senior teams kept us up to date with policy changes, new guidance, they also ensured we were one of the first to start weekly COVID testing and even organise for us all to have our vaccines done as soon as it was available.
Alina Homecare pay very competitively and our staff pay rates are some of the best in the local area, and on top of that we receive perks and benefits that other companies do not offer. It's the little things that make the biggest difference, and make this a fantastic place to work.

I worked for them for few months and I done one week on and one week off they refuse to pay travel and food they pay you a month after for that. They underpaid me my wages they don’t care about employees circumstances also there not any benefits working with them they refuse to give me care certificate I worked my ass off and studied a month before even given a offer and during my employment they bribed me saying I need to complete more weeks with them there was some conditions I forgot to read.

My niece entered into supported four years ago at a property managed by Alina in Maidstone. The house isnt fit for purpose, the care and support they provide is a joke. My niece is profoundly autistic and lost her Mum to suicide, father placed her with Alina. During the 4 years she has had cat flea bites (another residents pet), wet eczema under her breasts due to
poor hygiene. Staff are supposed to provide 51 hours of care 1:1 and several more shared hours. That doesn't happen. Rubbish piled high outside the property and more than 50 different support workers have come and gone in her time, none there now have been there for more than a few months. She has ploughed on weight left to her own devices to choose meal options to staff that couldn't warm a can of soup. Staff have tampered with her mobile and blocked numbers for myself and other maternal side of the family. Of course their recollection of incidents vary from ours, always portraying them in a better light. They lie and pass the buck without ever accepting any responsibility. I have involved CQC and care manage from social services but they all collude with one another. If you are thinking of Alina as a supported living option for your family, please dont.

Some of the reviews are bound to be negative like anything in life, one or two will always have a different opinion/ experience or even misunderstand the situation and want to just type nonsense, however it’s in my very strong opinion and knowledge that this is one of the most amazing companies with managers that genuinely work so so hard and carers that seriously go above and beyond in every single way possible to ensure your loved ones are looked after in the best possible way.
In my experience, opinion and knowledge I speak about the Bromley branch.
I highly recommend Alina home care without a shadow of a doubt!

Firstly this company have a false score as 99% of the reviews are by staff/managers
If you read the 1 *’s you’ll get the real story
This company have shown their true colours as money grabbing manipulators and bullies of the vulnerable
Fictional calls and continuous invoice errors (over charging) ok if you’ve somebody checking but not so if you haven’t or pay DD
The latest is charging for being in hospital, having a holiday or even passing away ? They will invoice you regardless as it’s all about the money
The managers/owners of this company are money grabbers who take vantage of the vulnerable which turns my stomach
Do not use them, find someone private who’ll do the job for less, they’ll also save you money and a lot of stress

This is a care company that actually CARES. Sally is an excellent manager and goes above and beyond to support her clients and their families. The contrast between this company / branch and many of the others is stark. So many are just not interested and seem desensitised to the human element of care; the management hide behind rules and regulations. In comparison Sally is incredibly responsive and adaptable, and her team is skilled and experienced. My dad recently died and I don't know what we'd have done without them in those last days. The support was truly remarkable. I highly recommend Alina Care Bristol North.

Beware: If your loved one falls ill/has an incident/accident and requires a hospital stay, this 'care' agency will remove them from the books and leave them high and dry when they are discharged & return home!
This happened to my severely disabled mum who was left without any home care for several weeks whilst Social Services had to make arrangements. A disabled woman, who has full faculties, and spent hours and hours stuck in bed because Alina withdrew their care package.
I'd happily have taken this a lot further but, at my mum's request, I had to let it go. After her horrific ordeal she just wanted to let it go, and heal.
If it were up to me, as someone who works within the hewlth industry, Alins would have been taken to task!

I started with Alina in 2019 as a care worker, after having several interviews with other company's, I felt their standard of care was the best at Alina, and they looked after their staff as well as their clients, I really enjoyed working as a care worker, with face to face training, supportive colleagues and office team, I then progressed to FCS and then to coordinator, the company has a lot of branches, they are all very supportive to one another, it is like working with an extended family, the quality of care that is delivered, I feel is at a very high standard, the care workers enjoy their job and this shows in their work, I receive positive feed back from our clients every time I visit them, Alina encourages you to excel in your role and supports you to progress if you wish to.

After a long time convincing my mother that she needed help, she eventually agreed to hear what homecare could offer her. I invited a couple of homecare companies round and out of the companies that came, my mother and I were both very impressed with Alina. We decided to go with Alina, which has turned out to be a great decision. They have been brilliant from the initial contact, to the ongoing care that she receives every week from staff that care, we are both so impressed.
Since having the care, my mother has increase the number of visits, one of which she is taken out for a couple of hours, which gives her back some form of independence that she loves. My mother has been so pleased with how the good the service is and how caring the carers are, which means a lot to me. My mother tells everyone how good they are!
Would we recommend Alina, YES! You will not be disappointed.

Sorry but I have to bring this up. Recently I came back from my home and a women who lives here was screaming soooo loud. I went in and asked her what Is wrong and she replied "I want a walk" and that day we had 5, yes 5, a full house of support workers in the here and everyone was ignoring her because guess what..... they were all on their phones. Noticing me putting on my own coat to take her, someone did in the end. Then whilst everyone was off their phones I noticed someone hiding in the corner on there's. I went down and took the phone which was boiling hot and excuse for being on it was " I have a headache and I needed my phone" A headache and your on a phone? Insane.
But I will say, you have given me 5 people in here who I really trust with my care completely. They are amazing. Thank-you 😁

I joined the Stevenage branch 4 months ago and I absolutely love it. Love the fact that if you have any issues or concerns you can go to the office and talk with management anytime as they have an open door policy. Love working with all my clients as they are so sweet. All Alina’s training is spot on and so useful. All staff work as a team and are so helpful. Could not recommend a company more. Nothing nicer than waking up everyday to a job I love. Only downfall is, I wish I had done this job years ago.
