I cannot get an ex-spouse removed as a beneficiary. It has taken multiple requests, phone calls. letters etc...these people are 100% incompetent. Alight should go out of business.

The worst to deal with claims declined customer service sucks. Wouldn't recommend ever using them. Hard to access funds. Calling you get the run around.
Amounts are taken out of the paycheck for 401k plans, but it's not placed in employee 401k plan, calls to Alight (overseas call center) are not documented in client's portal like they should be. This... Mehr ansehen

Horrible, incompetent and frustrating
This mess of a "company" manages benefits for GSK retirees. The website and app are a mess bordering on useless - you can't find what you need. Their AI responder sends broken links. The call quality is horrendous - and most reps speak unintelligibly. Wait times are long and often you can't get your issue sorted. Zero stars. Shame on you, GSK, for using this sham company.
Alight is bad and to be avoided
Aon was a pretty good company. When they became Alight it all went to @#&%!
2 hr wait times on hold, people that are not knowledgeable, and people that are rude. One I dealt with was condescending and NOT helpful in the least.
This "profit over all else" has to come to an end.

Zero stars. This company epitomizes what it means to be incompetent. Why any company will work with them is beyond me? I have spent 15 hours on the phone with them regarding my commute benefits. They claim they have no formal complaint process. Ridiculous
True incompetence…
I have contacted this company five times over the past month and have been shocked at the level of incompetence of the agents I have dealt with. They have failed to complete straightforward tasks and much of the information they have provided me has been incorrect. Very concerning, given this relates to the pension which I will soon be a eligible for.

Call your new 401k or IRA to work with Alight, don't bother with their customer service yourself
I have been working with Alight for the past two weeks to roll over my 401k to my new employer. The first representative took my form and said they would fill it out because my statement is worthless. It doesn't have an account number, an internal revenue code number, nothing except my name and address and amounts. I reached out a few days later to follow up and they gave me a ticket number. I contacted them today and they said we can't fill out that form, we'll give you that information with the check we'll mail you. I called my new company's 401k provider, Empower for assistance. When I told the representative who I was trying to roll from she immediately said oh they're a doozy. She was not kidding.. she conferenced in with me and we waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the phone, we're routed to the wrong place, luckily it was a fast route to 401k after that and then the representative we spoke to didn't know anything about my account. Luckily I knew the numbers myself, otherwise who knows if they would have been correct. The representative from Empower spent over an hour with me to get my 401k rollover started. Now I have to call Alight back in 7 days to complete the rollover. If the first representative had told me this 2 weeks ago I wouldn't be in this position, it would have already been sent to Empower.

Alight denies doctor recommendations
Alight is the company for retiree health benefits. The staff I have dealt with are not able to answer questions about the Retiree reimbursement account. The hold times are extreme and so far have not resolved any issues.
Compression socks are a covered item in HSA. Even provided doctors letter for need, still denied. Why?
Absolutely no communication
Absolutely no communication, had to go to the doctor 3 times for 1 document just for them to reject the claim again. Finally told them we can’t afford to keep going to the doctor so they said they would take care of sending the paperwork and communicating with the doctor to get what they needed, and again another rejection.
Need to speak to someone, that will be a 2 hour wait if you even manage to get through without someone hanging up on you before you can even get the first word out.
How is this company in business?
Terrible communication. Terrible website design. Terrible customer service.
Sure I’ll repeat myself three times and then wait on hold for 5 minutes for you to come back and repeat what I said without any answers.

I'm only disappointed that no or 0 stars are not an option. My large international company switched to alight this year. What a debacle of a company. I have invested hours and hours of my time getting my account straightened out, multiple calls answered in the Philippines, only to eventually be placed to the US when my situation was not even understood. I CANNOT believe how they are even in business.
Alight was a nightmare to deal with…
Alight was a nightmare to deal with when the company I worked for used them to handle HSA/FSAs. They always denied claims for no reason, and then required ridiculous amounts of documentation before paying. Thankfully, after so many employee complaints our company switched to another company to manage the HSA/FSA's. The new company is wonderful, they made us see how bad Alight truly was.

Takes 5-7 days to get a new password. This is literally the only service I've ever seen in my 30 years of being on the internet where I couldn't instantly reset a password.
Avoid at all costs!
The most clueless bunch of "administrators" I have ever come across. Be prepared to just pay in the money for your FSA and never actually be able to use it.
Erroneous Fees
Customer service agents are very pleasant to work with, but the company's practices are ridiculous. IRA rollovers incur a $40 annual maintenance fee for holding cash accounts without any investment. No fees will be waived. Terrible account type, do not use.
Theives at best...
Agent was very nice but this company is a group of theives. Thanks Motorola for giving your retirees a thief to manage our benefits. I'm fully vested. Want to roll my pension to my investment broker since Alight is making me peanuts. Nov 14... but can't get my money transferred until Jan 1. Asked if they make up for my lost interest? Hell no. WORST COMPANY EVER.
Retirement Annuity and Total Rewards partners
State Farm "Benefits Admin" and Alight have not provided calculation, balance info, projection/illustration or did any of the tax change o requests I have asked for both from Benefits Admin/Total Rewards and Alight Portal (my data was abused and breached as well by Equifax and others involved) but its been a headache so far getting any correct info on my Retirement Annuity and the calculations seem to be messed up. The conversion to Alight/servicer also pulled over my beneficiaries WRONG and the portal required to get any info does not have any illustration, fee, balance or calculation info that is correct. Customer Care at State Farm has been using Knowledge Items that are both wrong on how Annuities work and fees/values project/work and has refused to provide a balance. Also ADP showed I worked for Taylor Corp (which I never did). I worked for 2 different contractors on Taylor projects so something is not being integrated and Annuity probably mis calculated or used in DataBrick/Lake test environments without employee knowledge and miscalculated annuities most likely. Customer Care has been both Retaliatory and abusive in communications and has provided wrong information on how Annuities and the "business rules" and calculations work and referred me (and probably others) to SFNet sites which never had the info and we can't even access anymore. Providing a Retirement Annuity BALANCE and calculation/fee and insurance cost and ILLUSTRATION is common life insurance practice and should have been on the Alight Portal but was not so my FINANCIAL advisor needs this and so does atty and others.
ADP (most likely) and The State Farm/Total Rewards/Benefits (HR) dept and vendor partnerships (Alight) and systems/data implementations and service model (system, process and communication and complaint handling) is extremely exploitive and bad and abusive to retirees, employees and ex employees in several ways. (reviews on Alight can affirm much of this from many complaints on bad handling of service, withdrawal, forms requests, rollover requests, data abuses, wrong information on Retirement Annuity/Pension handling and this was pre GDPR and post GDPR. MoveIT and Progress Pension and other and Alight, AON and others have been heavily involved while ex employees treated like trash and communications are simply degrading, wrong and clearly the communicators/respondents do not understand how Annuity (projection, fee disclosures, data share and balances) work which is disturbing coming from an "insurance" company. The whole vendor relationship and data risk and "business rules" for handling the forced portal, Retirement Annuity transfer and communications (that are wrong and exploit the complainant in many ways) is a shame. The Alight problems are heavily documented and continue (don't process requests, form submissions, etc.)
Conflicts of Interest may arise but clearly whoever is servicing/handling this implementation, partner agreement and data and cloud or portal "service" is extremely bad for many folks. State Farm, Gainsco, BlueOwl etc. apparently handled a certain group of employees with this service agreement without full disclosure or understanding or docs to employees and SFNet is not a source for good info and never was (even when there). The digital handling has been terrible as well as service from both Total Rewards staff/vendors, HR, Alight and all others. Demeaning and degrading and NOT researching and providing right answers is the playbook apparently. Disconcerting to many people and concerns on how data is stored, handled and integrated and platforms being used is heavy considering all the breaches in last 4 years with insurance, partners and financial industry/plans. State Farm Total Rewards clearly does not take any concern or question or person (employee or ex employee serious) its clear. A shame and wondering if Conflicts of Interest or Code of Conduct and mishandling of portal/digital app and data share practices and servicing/communications to retirees is being handled respectfully and properly as we are given wrong, misleading, unthorough information about annuity and pensions and data. (attached communication and past communication which are completely wrong on how annuities are handled and lacks illustration, balance and history)

Alright as it’s used by Danaher is one of the most challenging ysa I have ever used. Trying to get through to a live agent is difficult. If you do get an agent. U get disconnected. If you need a call back. It’s up to 48 hrs

This company is the parent to MDGuidelines and they do not accept any CC over the phone. I have to send a check. The invoices they give have completely confusing info on them and their is nothing to indicate who the company is that produced the invoice. I never write and don't want to write a check. Unfortunately, I have to subscribe to this service by Statute. And they are the only place to buy this service! I almost want to quit doing DD's because this company is so whacked! If you c an keep from it, do give this company 1 cent of your money unless you have to.
