Just returned from a 24hr 3 peak challenge with Active Mountaineering, Chris and his team were fantastic and very professional, they helped everyone throughly throughout the whole 24hrs, they also gave us all plenty of encouragement to succeed in the challenge, I will definitely be booking again next year with several friends this time, great company great passion 👍

If you're in any doubt about booking this trip — do it! It's physically tough, but the views and the incredible sense of achievement when you complete the challenge make it absolutely worth it. Our guide Mark worked hard alongside the coach drivers to ensure that we finished within the 24 hours and gave us all the advice and encouragement we needed along the way.

If you are looking for a guide who can get you up the 3 peaks in 24 hours then look no further. Chris and his team were 'on it' from the start and made it very clear that it was going to be a team challenge. They were motivational throughout and helped everyone as much as they could. We were on track but unfortunately a lightening storm had other ideas. I would highly recommend the team.

My best friend and I decided to test ourselves with the 24hr National 3 Peaks Challenge and came across a blog recommending Active Mountaineering. Having previously considered doing it alone and driving ourselves, I am so glad we chose Active Mountaineering instead! Chris has put a great deal of thought into the impeccable management of the whole operation...making sure the group reaches every designated snack stop/drink stop/summit on time in order to complete the challenge within 24 hours. Nice luxurious bus with reclining seats to help you snatch a few hours sleep too. We also started a couple of hours later than most companies (in order to ensure we are rested and fuelled) and overtook them later on (they take longer than 24 hrs) thanks to Chris' military-style operation.

Don't be fooled, this is a tough challenge you need to train for as you are pushing the whole way round and have to keep up the pace in order to summit in time - but Chris and the team support you and push you on the whole way. Using Active Mountaineering meant we didn't have to think about anything except eating, sleeping and putting one foot in front of the other - which makes all the difference getting yourself over the line in 24 hours! And the views are INCREDIBLE, Chris and the guides are super friendly and supportive, the bus drivers navigate the windy country roads like a boss and the group banter kept us laughing throughout - the phrase of the weekend being "NO FAFFING!!" :)

We had the best time and have caught the bug to do more challenges. Super impressed and very much recommend. Thanks Chris for the fantastic memories.

The 3 Peaks Challenge was well organized and the team is like a well oiled machine. Chris’s “no faffing” attitude is exactly what is needed to complete the challenge on time. If you are into pampering and ego stroking, this is not the one for you. Guides were brilliant and everyone extremely supportive.

Great experience, one of the best things I’ve done, it was really tough at times but great leadership from Chris to get us through it!!!

If you want to complete the National 3-Peaks Challenge in 24 hours then Active Mountaineering is the way to go! Mountain Leader Chris is tough on you - but that’s what is needed to complete on time! I’d highly recommend this experience

Three Peaks 24 hour Challenge - completed with time to spare.

Wow, what an experience! I absolutely loved this challenge. Chris’ leadership skills and approach to the challenge were brutal to say the least but I understand why he had to be this way. The guides were also absolutely amazing; so friendly and supportive when people really needed it. I would highly recommend this challenge for those who want to be pushed to their limits both physically and mentally. Thanks Chris 🙌🏻

Myself and my partner completed the Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours, as did 39 out of the 47 in the group. This is quite an achievement, and what an experience it was, amazing!
Chris really does know what he's doing. At the end you will understand why his no fluff, balls out approach is what is needed to get you through the challenge, and it's all carried with great humour. This challenge is a toughie and you'd best be ready for it! Chris is supported by a very professional team who are genuinely caring and personable. I'm sure we'll be joining Chris and his team on other adventures in the future. Very highly recommended!

Great communication, no messing around, gets it done in true 24 hours. The coach was luxury, the group of people were great, couldn’t fault any of it. Shame I couldn’t complete due to injury, but Chris has said he’ll do what he can to get me back up there if I wanted to (which I declined.)

If you want to complete an authentic 24 hour challenge with a true, experience professional and are up for the challenge, then Chris is the man.

There’s not a lot of things I do without my husband by my side, but this was one of them and definitely the biggest.
This was a challenge I needed to complete for myself and for that reason I didn’t need someone to lean on, I didn’t need someone stroking my ego telling me ‘you can do it’, I needed a leader that would ensure I wouldn’t fail, and that’s what I got! This challenge isn’t for ‘snowflakes’ but if you consider yourself close to that category of person, then Chris is probably the guy that’s going to push you so far out of your comfort zone you successfully complete this challenge! Do the training he tells you, listen to the instructions he gives you and remember ‘The body achieves what the mind believes’ so get your head in the right place! - I’ll recommend him to anybody that asks me - thanks Chris, I look forward to taking on further challenges with you in the future!

What an experience and service given, know your with the best tour operator when 3 other tours fail 24 hours and we stared 2 and half hours later, thank u Chris pushed us at times but memories I'll never forget and done with time to spare👌

Exellent weekend doing the National 3 peaks, Chris’s professional and military style operation of the 24hr challenge is second to none! He will 💯 make sure every individual will do and give 💯 to achieve their goals! I absolutely loved his no nonsense attitude, It’s exactly what you need when doing this challenge within 24hrs! Utter professional and we will be back for more challenges.

I could not recommend Active Mountaineering enough

3 peaks in 24 hours as advertised. Chris' no bull attitude made the challenge work. I completed with 7 mins to spare and this could easily have been missed if the group hadn't been herded as needed. It was a difficult challenge and due to coach arriving in late to Snowdon meant we had to push hard. But again guides got all finishers through in the time limit. I wouldn't ever do this again but would highly recommend someone else doing it 👍

Great time doing the three peaks challenge. Chris was really on it, managed the group well to keep us on track during a tough challenge whilst keeping things fun. Great group of people and good camaraderie built up during the trip.

Kilimanjaro Trip 2022 - A great experience which Chris & Nic made the smoothest. The value was excellent, Chris and Nic were exceptional and there was nothing to worry about other than enjoying the trek.
Managed the summit with pure consistency and reassurance from Chris & Nic and all others within the group.
Highly recommend and will definitely be doing further experiences with them.

Enjoyed my second big trip with Active Mountaineering to Kilimanjaro (Machame Route). I've wanted to do this for ages Everything ran smoothly and Chris & Nic's attention to detail in working with the local staff was excellent, and they are really supportive and encouraging. Successfully summited and enjoyed a lot of fun and laughter with the rest of the team! Excellent value for money and everything was looked after - spent nothing in Tanzania other than on a few beers and souvenirs!

What an incredible couple of days completing the National 3 peaks with active mountaineering. The challenge was so well organised from start to finish and the teams dedication, commitment and experience meant we had a brilliant 24hours and completed what we set out to do! . Friendly and welcoming whether you are in a group or on your own. I would highly recommend active mountaineering and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for my next challenge!
