They make their bonds appear like a very safe investment but they are not. When you formulate the risk of losing your entire investment vs the 5% interest, Worthy is not worth it. You're better off pu... Mehr ansehen

I've been using Worthy Bonds for years…
I've been using Worthy Bonds for years and it has been pretty great so far. I've never had an issue as there are no penalties for early withdrawal and the earnings have been pretty consistently what they claim they will be.
However, it was on pause for like a year and claimed their filings were in review with the SEC... I've invested in other Regulation A investments and never been told things are on hold while the SEC reviews. Were they up to something shady? I hope not.
Until recently, I wasn't really making a decent income and used like a cushion. Pad the account when I can, comfortably withdraw when I can't and rinse/repeat. I had gotten the lowest paying job I'd had in years and didn't want to touch my investment in Worthy at all as it didn't look like I could reinvest anytime soon. Luckily, I'm in a better place now and Worthy has finally reopened investments, so I can pad the account and should something happen or I loose my job or whatever, feel comfortable that I can reinvest as soon as I have the money again.
Redeem anytime, UNLESS they put a freeze on the offering....
Like many others, I have been waiting on Worthy Bonds to release my money since the redemption freeze started in 2022. As of today, that's 2 years waiting for my money. And when I say this, i mean the total amount invested initially PLUS all accrued interest. I haven't received 1 cent of it. I had no idea that the interest was also at high risk in the event of a default. They say they are taking measures to make all of us whole again, but we have no concept of where we are on the list and it makes it harder and harder to believe its ever going to happen. Please don't make the same mistake as me. Invest your money elsewhere. Even HYSA (high yield savings accounts) are offering around 5% interest at the moment. That extra 1 or 2 percent is NOT worth the risk.

Invested in Worthy Peer Capital II in 2020 and thought it was good return, however "pause" or "hold" aka possibility never see that money again was placed in July 2023 which is 60 days from payout date. Been over one year sense the pause and keep blaming the SEC for delay it payout.
I've been a Bond holder with Worthy…
I've been a Bond holder with Worthy since 2019. I've had as much as $98k invested at one time. Over the years I have asked for withdrawals at least 17 times, and every time was given my withdrawal in 6-10 days. Very trustworthy in my opinion. Not FDIC Insured, but their business model makes me feel confident...and even during the pandemic there were no problems.
Invest elsewhere - you won't get your money back here
I, like many others, invested in Worthy Financial / Worthy Capital's bonds that offered 5-7% interest back in 2020. I went so far as to invest in 4 different rounds of bonds. The problem came when those bonds matured - Worthy froze withdrawals on those assets and is keeping that money and the accrued interest. It has now been over a year since my bonds have matured and should have been paid out to me, but I am still unable to withdraw those funds.
You'll notice that Worthy Financial / Worthy Capital only seems to respond to the positive (or mostly positive) reviews and simply ignores the criticisms. Don't waste your money here, instead invest somewhere else.
Don’t use! Get other HYSA
Not going to be using this in the future. I was impressed with the 5%-7% return until I realized that it wouldn’t let me withdraw one of my accounts. That account had an amount that was greater than the amount of money I got from the 5%-7% return. So I actually ended up losing money using Worthy. Just invest in a 4%-5% HYSA that is actually insured by the FDIC. I understand this is my fault because of the risk that is involved but just making sure nobody else makes the same mistake I did.
I’m still trying to invest!
I’m still trying to invest, but they’re not allowing me to invest. I’ve been trying for several months!

I Bought a sampling of bonds in 2019 and after waiting 3 year for them to mature I have been told for the last 2 years that the bond I bought are on hold. I cannot redeem the bonds for my money.

Do not put money in this worthy bond
Do not put money in this worthy bond. Have had money "frozen" (unable to withdraw any amount) now for 4 years in this account. Truthy at this point i'm not sure ever will be able to get money back. Support team outlines no timeline or detail what efforts are being done. Just make sure if you do invest money, it is money you can afford to walk away from.

I can’t believe they are still in…
I can’t believe they are still in business. I’m going through the same experience many others have described here. They have kept the money I invested over 4 years ago. I didn’t even know a company is allowed to do this for such a long time without being forced to default. I’m sure it is to get other people to invest in their company that don’t know about their financial troubles and continue their scam.

Do not invest in Worthy!
Do not invest in Worthy if you ever want to see your money again. Invested in the first tranche of bonds years ago based on the false claim you can withdraw your funds at any point. They froze payouts almost 2 years ago and now further lie and say they are paying people out regularly with zero evidence that is actually happening. These folks belong in prison. Nobody is buying the sob pandemic excuse in 2024! At least come up with a new lie to tell. I ran for the exit of the second tranche once the first tranche defaulted and so should you if you still can and don’t like to throw money in the toilet. Earning money you can never withdraw is useless.
