I was wandering past the shop when some chairs caught my eye and even better, they were discounted! Eliza helped me take them off the display stand so I could try them out and I was happy to buy them.
I was initially a little disappointed that I couldn't take them with me, but the courier nearly beat me home to Essex.

Great delivery, fantastic quality product. Anya rung to check in post delivery and give a care guide which was very handy. I’m a repeat customer and would definitely recommend!

Lovely store, huge choice and amazing staff who actually were happy to pause and take time to help you find what you really wanted rather make a sale. I purchased the Metal Bowl Tray in the Brass Finish recently and I'm so happy with it. The brass finish looks lovely and gives it a nice, understated look without being too shiny. It feels solid and well made, and the quality is exactly what I was hoping for.

I'm currently using it under a large, heavy pottery vase filled with tall branches, and it's been perfect for protecting the surface underneath while also making the whole display look more finished. It's a good size and feels sturdy enough to support the weight without any issues.

I also had a really lovely follow-up chat with Anya from Woods Furniture after my purchase, which was a nice personal touch and made the whole experience feel that bit more special.

Overall, it's one of those simple pieces that really pulls a space together, and I'm very pleased with both the product and the service. I'd definitely recommend it.

Such a wonderful shop to browse around in Dorchester or in Bournemouth.
I bought a lovely 6 drawer chest which fits perfectly into my room. Super easy to pick up from the Dorchester warehouse. I'm sure I'll shop again soon as the staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable.

Friendly team and quick smooth delivery process

Brilliant, friendly and very knowledgeable service from Beverley. Delivery was excellent, very careful and helpful. The table and chairs I purchased look beautiful and receives lots of compliments. The store is perfectly laid out, with lots of beautiful items. I would definitely go back if I ever need anything but I would look for Beverly as I think she went above and beyond to make our experience great.

Local furniture supplier with good showrooms and range of stock. Can be expensive but good quality. The most recent purchase had one of the four legs loose. I didn't immediately discover it - relying on their £99 'White glove' service. Once I made them aware they engaged a very good independent technician who sorted it out swiftly and they reimbursed the cost.

We really valued the personal service that Woods gave us, keeping us up to date with progress on production and delivery of our Ercol snuggler/sofa when it was delayed and always promptly answering any queries. When we noticed the scatter cushion was missing they diligently searched the warehouse and ordered a replacement (FOC) when it wasn’t found. I’m so pleased we were able to go the shop, try out the sofa and speak to an actual person face to face - so much better than ordering on line!

Jake was very helpful while I was thinking about purchasing, and in planning my delivery once I had decided to go ahead. The delivery men were polite, helpful, kept me updated and had my lovely new Milan dining table assembled in no time. All in new condition and lovely quality. Very happy with my purchase 😀

Ordered a corner dining bench and table set.
Sadly the table arrived broken.
Was dealt with quickly by Anya, who arranged a replacement and collection.
I am delighted to say that the set once assembled all together, it is a lovely piece of quality furniture.

Excellent communication, bought one sofa and had it delivered as per arrangement. Liked it so much we ordered a second one on which we were given a discount. Again delivered in time frame specified. Followed up by phone to check that all was ok.
Have used many times over the years, a very honest and reliable company.

Head of Sales Karen was extremely helpful when I was making choices over new furniture for the home. I never felt rushed and when I changed my mind a few times it was never an issue. Very pleased with the excellent quality and beautiful looking furniture.

Shame I can’t give this company zero stars. Bought an expensive outdoor sofa and fire pit and paid for them to set it up. They took my money then refused to set it up, didn’t supply instructions and then refused to engage. After weeks of haggling I received a paltry £50 refund. Sales Director at Dorchester has no concept of customer service.
Unfortunately Paul’s response below is incorrect - we were forced to assemble the fire pit ourselves as Woods point blank refused to do so and would not refund the assembly fee I had paid until I threatened to stand outside the Brewery Square shop and warn every potential customer about their lack of service. Don’t try to reinvent the truth Paul!

Great help with understand products in showroom. Delivery no problem when we changed date and Dylan and Mark could not have been better during the delivery process. Well done guys.

Brilliant service and quality goods.
We originally ordered 6 dining chairs a few months ago and were really pleased with the quality of them.
We recently noticed a small split down one of the seams - I contacted them to report this and the costumer service since then has been second to none! Absolutely brilliant communication via Paul at Customer Services - I really think that others could learn from his polite, helpful and clear customer service. The issue was quickly resolved and the chair replaced.
We would definitely use again in the future! Thank you!
