Having lost 2 buyers, the original property that I hoped to buy, exchange and completion dates being constantly put back, my stress levels were through the roof. We then hit the busy time as everyone was trying to complete before the rise in stamp duty.
From my first contact with White's everything was handled with such professionalism. Mark who did the survey/quote was very thorough and the quote can through quickly online and in the post. He also suggested that I check my home insurance to see if that would cover my removal, and it did, saving me money.
When they couldn't fit me in once we eventually agreed on a completion date, Piers was able to come up with a solution which worked perfectly and all of the removal crew were faultless. They worked hard and fast, were friendly and polite and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

Very quick and friendly staff, but they weren't used to packing antiques and there is repair work to be done.
In their haste new paintwork was damaged. A mixed experience sadly.

I had a good experience with White & Co- I have moved countries twice and its always been very stressful, time consuming and not really worth the price you pay. However White & Co was really good- starting from the inspection person everyone was kind and attentive. Pearl was coordinating for documents which was seamless and the 2 guys who came to pack and pick up were also fast, attentive and very helpful. The guy who dropped off my stuff was also very patient- we wanted to take some stuff before putting it in the storage and he was kind and accommodating
Overall I recommend White&Co and would use them again if need be!

The team from White & Co were absolutely fantastic and made our house move so much easier than we had anticipated. They were diligent, friendly and very efficient. They arrived in a timely manner, took the time to find out all the details of what was staying and what was going, utilized floor protectors where appropriate and then cracked on! They were also very reasonable price wise, compared to other movers, especially considering that they supplied all the boxes and packing materials. Would highly recommend and would definitely use the company again.

Moving home can be stressful especially when life is busy. From the moment we contacted White & Co, we knew we were in capable hands. The move itself was trouble-free. The team assigned to us was absolutely superb. So hard-working, courteous, and with a wry sense of humor. Nothing was too much for them, and nothing too heavy or awkward to shift. We have been using this company for twenty years or so and never seek to look further afield as they offer first class removals and first class storage facilities with excellent customer service from both office and removal staff. I highly recommend them.

The company didn't send the required number of packers on the day before the move which meant only about half was preloaded. The morning of the move was therefore frenetic with 4 people trying to pack as quickly as possible. This led to random items in boxes. They finally left at 2pm not late morning as anticipated . As the transit was some 100.miles away a small van took our bed and some garden items, getting to the new house around 6pm. We only had a bed that night which was not the plan.
The packers and movers worked hard throughout.
We contacted the office at the end the first day and were told that they had staffing problems. Frankly, not our problem, we paid for a service which fell short of expectations. As you are required to pay up front, there is nothing we can do.We received no apology. The guys on the ground did the best they could.
