Whataportrait did an oil painting of my infant nephew who passed away on Feb. 8th. I had the painting done for my niece and her husband. The painting was amazing. You could not see any differences in the picture and the painting other than the things I asked to have omitted. My niece and her husband absolutely love the painting and I'm sure will treasure it for a lifetime. Thank you Whataportrait for the awesome work and amazing customer service. Great customer service
This is my 2nd project with what a portrait. I was extremely satisfied with my 1st project, which is why I used them again. On my second project, I had to ask for a few revisions, which they were able to accommodate. The final product for this project was good but not great this time around. If I had to do again, I would have chosen the color over the black and white for a portrait painting. I will definitely use them again for future projects. They have a stellar customer service team!

Due to the handmade and bespoke nature of our artworks, we are unable to switch to color painting once we have already started working on a B&W artwork as paints are rendered in layers so the colors need to be rendered from the first layer itself. We always share a layout before starting work to notify how the elements and subjects in the artwork will be laid out as well as share a preview(picture of the completed artwork) for your approval prior to shipping and yours was not an exception. We also mention that we are unable to change or refer to completely new picture once we start working as that would mean rendering the artwork from scratch as this is a handmade piece of work and not a computer-generated print. As your satisfaction is a priority to us, we were willing to accomodate feasible revision requests, however, we had received a request to proceed with shipping. As revisions after completion of artwork is subject to feasibility and major changes are not feasible, we share layouts and start working only after receiving customer approval. We hope for your understanding and also hope that we arrive on a better understanding of expectations on both of our ends from our next projects.
