A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE. This company is a fraud racket from start to finish. We hired them to move items from CA to Idaho. They quoted a good price and once they had our items loaded, the stopped communicating entirely. They finally responded A MONTH after their scheduled delivery date and told us that unless we paid an additional $3000 "shuttle fee,' they would not deliver. We threatened to sue and they caved. When our belongings finally arrived, about $1500 worth of my tools has been stolen. They have never responded to my effort to file a claim on their insurance. They don't move items themselves. They are merely a broker who contracts out to other fly by night local movers. What you see in the website is all fake. I have formal complaints ongoing with federal and state commerce authorities.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They picked up my things on March 22 and I still haven’t recieved anything. I moved from Fresno, CA to Georgia and they still haven’t delivered. They tripled the cost from $1500 to $4000, broke my vanity in the process of picked everything up, and I have video footage of one of the movers going through my things. Very disheartening and untrustworthy moving company. Carlos is who we are supposed to arrange deliver with and he’s been uncomplaint. Doesn’t answer texts, email, or phone calls. The whole situation is pathetic truly. They don’t even have insurance. This whole “company” of scammers needs burn and pay for the theft, emotional distress, trauma they have caused. Also, don’t trust Michael, he’s selling dreams and is full of garbage as well.

Do NOT use these guys. Total scam. I had a detailed list and video of my goods. Mike gave me estimate which included full packing. Packing day the people they contracted said full pack not shown, had zero boxes. Loaded 1/3 of my wife and I stuff, then we were told we reached our estimate and it would be 3 times the amount. 5k went to 15k. Now, 9 weeks later, I have their 'relocation specialist ', Carlos telling me over and over that our items are on the way. He made mistakes of giving us driver #, who called and said they were 'evil' and he was returning our stuff to original pickup location. Then Carlos tells us out to stuff is 'redirected' and still on its way. 10 weeks now, we have an Oregon lawyer secured and are suing
Pedro and his team were punctual
Pedro and his team were punctual, efficient and professional. They were able to navigate small service elevator and everything delivered safely. No surprises. Will definitely use West Coast Express Moving again.
Horrible experience
Stay Away. The original quote was $1500, they changed it to $4.5k when they came to our 1bdrm apartment. Mover found a way to”reduce” if I pay him $300 cash. That isn’t even the worst part.
They never told us when a truck would be getting our stuff, never told us it would be sitting in an undisclosed storage facility 20min from our old apartment and they never delivered our stuff.
After 5 months of waiting for our property to be delivered, and hearing every excuse/dismissal from their receptionist (Valerie) we ended up traveling back to CA from FL to rescue our move (April to Sept 2025).
We did not get any money back. They had put our stuff in a CubeSmart storage unit without telling us (NOT their storage facility in Northern California which the receptionist, Valerie, lied about on the phone) and were delinquent on payments. It was 1 week away from going to auction. We found this out because I put a tracker in our items and kept contacting the storage facility to get to our stuff.
Valerie and her manager Carlos at WCEM refused to give us any information of where it was/what unit etc. They kept telling us we have movers coming to get your stuff, we just dont have it scheduled yet. Holding our things hostage. They put a fake name when reserving the storage unit (had the mover’s cell #,company email and a name that was not the name of my mover [Mike/Miguel]). They intentionally damaged our items (folded a spring mattress in half, removed the pegs of our bed frame and “lost” one, though this same thing happened to another reviewer…)!! They stored our stuff with someone else’s. We went to rescue our stuff and they hassled us for a bit, then sent a random man to open the unit up to make sure we don’t take the other person’s belongings… of course, he started moving their stuff with ours and we had to tell him that’s not our property and remove it from our moving van.
Please stay away from this company, they are criminals, corrupt, fraudulent, and care 0% about you and your things.

Do not trust this company . I am a carrier. They rented a trailler with me. And not paying for it for 3 months ! They are thieves! Police report already done and court is waiting for you

If I could give 0 as a rating I would. This was the most ridiculous, stress inducing, waste of money, nightmare experience. This company is unreliable, untrustworthy, and over all just garbage. Not to mention they don’t even have operating authority to transport household goods or have up to date insurance to be performing such services. Avoid this company at all costs (unless you love headaches). They picked up our belongings at the end of January and we didn’t receive our items until March. No one answers their phones and it’s an all day game of telephone tag trying to get ahold of anyone. They never give legitimate, specific information regarding where your belongings are or what is happening with the transit of any items.The boxes when they arrived were also completely damaged and the sturdy plastic totes were mangled and misshapen. Numerous items were damaged. Last minute they also stated they couldn’t even bring our belongings to our new address due to “road restrictions” (there literally aren’t any, confirmed via the department of transportation) and we had to meet them with our OWN truck to get our stuff. From start to finish this company has been a hellish nightmare to work with and so unbelievably unprofessional. Do not give this illegal operation any more business.
Stay clear of this company
They doubled my quote from the start the night before my move from CA to FL. I already had flight arrangements and no choice when they required I Zelle them a portion by 9 pm the night before. When they showed up they said we need to charge more to repack into boxes. They ran over by 18 days. They promised to get to my door for drop. They come in a huge tractor trailer size that won’t fit through the park and can’t drop at door. On a Sunday I had to hire people and U-Haul on short notice or pay an extra 700 to do what cost 1/2 that after promising drop at door included. Come to find out things were not repacked and in smaller square footage than they said they needed to charge extra for. Also had missing and damaged items. The move was 2/26/25 got goods in April 2025 came to settlement agreement and still have not paid as of today 12/09/25.

As someone who coordinates logistics and outreach for a nonprofit, I understand the importance of clear communication and timely service—especially during major life transitions. My experience with West Coast Movers has been deeply disappointing and disruptive.
They picked up my household items on July 25, 2025, and as of today, I have still not received my belongings. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, I’ve received no meaningful response, no updates, and no resolution. My emails and calls have been ignored, leaving me in the dark for weeks.
Because of this delay, I’ve had to purchase clothing, bedding, and essential household goods just to get by. This has created a financial and emotional strain that no customer should have to endure—especially when the issue stems from poor service and a lack of accountability.
The customer service has been nonexistent, and I’ve had to take on the burden of drafting formal communications and documenting the impact myself. This experience has not only delayed my ability to resume work, but it has also undermined the trust I placed in this company.
West Coast Movers must do better. Transparency, empathy, and follow-through are not optional—they’re the foundation of any service-based business. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the changes necessary to prevent others from going through what I did.

This is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. If you value your sanity, your money, and your belongings, do not hire West Coast Express Moving and Chiarella Transportation and Relocation Inc.
Here’s what happened:
• They picked up my mother’s items on May 2, 2025. We didn’t see her belongings again until early September. Four months!
• We were originally promised delivery by June 4. Then, after the fact, they claimed they had “30 days from that date” to deliver. Total bait and switch.
• They doubled the charges after her things were already on the truck, leaving us no choice but to pay under pressure.
• They rarely answered phones or emails, and when they did, they were dismissive, rude, and dishonest.
• We caught them in multiple lies about delivery dates. Calls were hung up on, texts ignored, emails never returned.
This company operates with zero integrity. They lie, they dodge responsibility, they extort more money mid-move, and they treat customers with absolute disrespect.
Save yourself the nightmare—do not use West Coast Express Moving under any circumstances. I wouldn’t trust them to move a single box across the street.

Property theft /loss/damage. Date -March 2025
This organization lost my ebike and 9 boxes after overcharging for their moving services. I called regularly to follow up on my things wherein they evaded and did not respond. At no time did they respond and responsibly address the property loss. I tried to handle this through CSI insurance but they dropped their relationship with that insurance company and I was advised of that. They requested I file a notarized claim to them, which I did. They continued to do nothing and evade communication about them losing my bike and boxes. This company is truly awful and extremely shady. They do not honor their word and will not do the right thing if your property is lost, stolen or damaged.

West Coast Express Moving can be described in one word – a company of crooks. After loading my stuff, after I had provided them with a list of my belongings in advance, including their dimensions (!), they tripled the price of the transport. I received my stuff after almost a month and a half and dozens of fruitless phone calls. Almost half of my furniture was broken and unusable, not even repairable. After that, despite the contract and prior arrangements, they cut off all contact. I will repeat once again – they are crooks. Beware of them!

🚨 WARNING: Do Not Use West Coast Express Moving 🚨
This has been the worst moving experience of my life.
Not only did it take over 40 days for my belongings to be delivered, but communication was nonexistent throughout the entire process. I called and emailed repeatedly with no response or updates. When my items finally arrived, I discovered that over $13,000 worth of personal belongings were missing, including electronics, designer items, and sentimental valuables.
To make matters worse, I reported the stolen items immediately (within a week of delivery), and neither company has provided a claims department, reimbursement, nor any resolution. I was completely dismissed.
The most alarming part? My Apple AirPods Max were traced to an address in San Jose, CA — showing clear proof that my stolen items were relocated and possibly resold.
I paid $2,200 for this move, only to be met with theft, silence, and blatant negligence. I’ve since taken legal steps to seek justice, and I strongly urge others to stay away from this company.
This isn’t just bad service — it’s criminal behavior.

Based on my experience with West Coast Express Moving, I recommend that people stay away from this company. They are dishonest, unorganized, and evasive. While trying to get your business they are kind and willing to answer the phone to assist you whenever you call. However, once they have your things, everything completely changes. Suddenly, you cannot get a hold of anyone. When someone does answer the phone, they provide you with unverifiable information that will be contradicted by the next person that answers the phone. At the end of it all, they lose your items and fail to provide proper paperwork for you to get your items back or at least be compensated for your loss.
My saga with this company began in early November, when my belongings were picked up by the company. As the movers helped us prepare our items for loading onto the truck, they proceeded to use rolls and rolls of tape on every box – even boxes that we had already sealed with our own tape. This may seem trivial, but when you understand that they charge you for every roll of tape and that it significantly increases your bill, you can see why they would do this. We were initially told that our items would arrive within a few days of our target date of 11/30. The company representative stated that it could take longer than that (their policy is a month) but that I should not worry as it rarely ever takes that long. I ended up receiving most of my items at the end of the third week of December. The first week of December, when I reached out to the company to get an updated ETA for my items, I had a hard time reaching the person that helped us get set up for the move, Randy, and ended up having to call several times in order to speak to someone else. To this day, Randy never responded to my multiple calls/texts. I was redirected to a person named Kenny, and each time I called he told me that he would call me later that day or the day after with an estimated ETA. He would never follow through, so I kept calling day after day, and the story remained the same. Each time we spoke that first week of December, he also told us that the items would arrive by the end of the week, i.e. Saturday, 12/7. Even up to when I called on Friday 12/6, he assured me that I could still expect my items by Saturday, 12/7. The items did not arrive on 12/7. A week went by with me not knowing where my items were and when they would arrive. During the second week of December, I was told the items were on the truck and that I could expect a call from the driver on 12/11 or 12/12. The driver never called or texted. When I called Kenny and informed him that there had been no communication, he acted surprised. On Thursday of that same week (12/12), a woman ended up answering my call and she told me that my items had never left the state of origin. The lack of organization and poor communication made the whole experience awful. Also, they use a third party for deliveries, something that I was not informed of. When I submitted claims for my missing items, I had to wait weeks only to be told that West Coast Express ended their contract with the claims company, so we would have to go back to them if we wanted a resolution.

They made our move so convenient, they wrapped all the furniture to protect them, came fully equipped and move our furniture the same day 4 hr drive to the destination and unloaded the next day, the cost was reasonable.
They arrived on time
They arrived on time, worked quickly, made sure all our furniture and personal items were handled with care and even disassembled and reassembled our furniture. They were friendly and professional and our final price came out quite close to the estimate we got initially. Definitely recommend them!!!
