I have been to the mansfield branch twice now and both my experiences have been extremely pleasant.
Jock and Ian the guys who was working was brilliant and a real laugh. I was asking a lot of questions and they helped me with them all.
Very friendly and welcoming.

Recently I had a MOT test at the Mansfield branch of WeOnlyMOT. The place is a nightmare, i had to have several MOT's and each time I came back for a retest i had another MOT failure. When i asked what the issue was they could not explain the problem just gave me a MOT failure slip. They seemed to be not interested in what they did and were interested in getting you out the door. The two MOT tester's we're not polite and swore constantly, one MOT testers even had there dog's roaming the place. Very unprofessional and dangerous, in the end i had to take my car to another MOT station and passed. Will never go back!

The team at Newark did a great job for…
The team at Newark did a great job for me yesterday. I was originally booked into Ollerton but found out my vehicle was took large for their lift. No drama, The gent at Ollerton got me rebooked immediately and the Newark team (who can manage large vehicles)
stayed open to sort me out. I felt looked after and the guys care about doing a good job. I always find the teams at weonlyMOT friendly and easy to deal with. It’s incredibly good value for a reliable service.
Absolute Cowboys
Absolutely horrendous service and attitude from the moron who did my MOT. Put on my certificate that my car had done over 100,000miles yet it clearly said Kilometre’s on my dashboard- double checked this with my brother who clearly showed me it was 62,000miles. Took it back this morning for them to sort out, got attitude from the idiot who I remember did my MOT. Telling me it’s not his fault and it’s “by the by” and I’ll have to go and sort it myself with dvla. Was very clear he felt stupid as let’s be honest, if you have messed up something as simple as reading numbers off a dashboard id feel stupid aswell, To say they only do MOT’s and they can’t even do that properly is worrying in itself. So in a nutshell if you want to devalue your car, be fobbed off and have to mess about fixing things you didn’t even do, then come here for your MOT because you won’t be disappointed. Never again

Once again can I ask if anything ever gets done about the way people are spoken to and treated at the Mansfield branch as there have been a good few similar reviews to mine on Google reviews.

Grantham branch
Grantham branch. Arrived and man in office didn’t even look at me or turn round from his desk. I said good morning and he just said “ leave the keys in the table and come back in 45mins” . Charming. Collection wasn’t much better, said hello and another grump just looked at me like something off his shoe. Never again.

Took my son's car and it failed
Took my son's car and it failed. Got the work done to be told it was a day late for retest ,the man was also very rude to my son ( the girl on the phone never said when we rebooked it in.) Had to pay for a complete new MOT. The car then failed on another 4 things !! plus when it went for its first MOT it had 150.665 miles when he took it back 2 weeks later it had 154,490 miles. We have since had a MOT elsewhere where the mileage was 151,495. Not very good adding miles on
Brilliant business model
Brilliant business model. Book your car in for an MOT online. MOT completed in under an hour. Pass & pay, or if you car fail's (and is under 10 years old) they won't charge, get the work completed and return to them to pass the car. Great customer service.
Smooth process, pleasant staff, good value
Weonlymot Newark. Booking online was easy, even for a Luddite like me. What a simple process. Easy to find from the website and very convenient. Dropped my car off for the dreaded MOT. Clean little waiting room, 2 nice pleasant testers wearing masks in the office reception. There's a viewing area but this is the time of covid. Left my keys, went walkabout. 25 minute later I get a text saying my little motor has passed and I pick it up with the paperwork. Oh joy! They're not interested in selling me unecessary repairs as they only MOT. Paid my £40 and I'm outa there. Painless as an MOT can be. Will definitely use again.
