Wellness Redefined's Gut the Stress Program offers great info, weekly meetings and group support. The staff is kind and willing to answer questions that make going through the program easier. More support with maintenance would be a strong recommendation.

Finding compassionate and effective care for my mother, who struggles with chronic diseases, felt like an impossible task—until we found Ebony. Wellness redefined was amazing. I highly recommend. Ebony and the team really took their time with me and listened to my concerns. They looked at my son as a whole and not just his medical diagnosis. They did a great job making goals and setting clear and easy steps to accomplish them.

I’ve waited almost six months to write this review, and I really wish I could have more positive things to say. I have spent thousands of dollars on this program between the appointments themselves, the tests and the supplements. When I signed up, I didn't fully understand how non-comprehensive the $1700 fee truly was. It covers nothing besides the 1 hour Zoom once a month- that is disclosed, but you just can’t possibly understand how many extra fees there are up front. Though I don’t feel the value is there financially, I would have felt better about it if I would have made any progress whatsoever during the last six months. Unfortunately, the issues I was having that caused me to seek out this service have either remained the same or worsened. I have developed abdominal pain after eating, a symptom I’ve never had in my life, and other significant gut issues I was not having prior to treatment. I expressed concern at many appointments and did not feel like I was given any meaningful solutions other than to discontinue the treatment that I had already spent hundreds of dollars on. I was also very unhappy with the way my case was handled. Due to poor scheduling and follow up on the part of Wellness Redefined, I had to start my treatment a month before I was able to discuss the results of my testing with anyone on the team. As someone that is a high information patient, I did not appreciate being in that situation, especially considering how much money I was spending and how motivated I was to succeed in this program. There were many points that I felt like I was on my own, and although everyone I interacted with on the team was friendly, the appointments with the health coach felt pretty meaningless. Half of them were spent correcting information that they had recorded improperly from previous appointment notes or me complaining about how frustrated I was that I felt so terrible and seemed to be moving backwards and had no meaningful help from Wellness Redefined. The notes that I received after each appointment often seemed unorganized, including information that was not discussed with me previously or leaving out information that we had discussed. When I signed up for the service, I felt like it would be customized to me, but after going through the program, it feels like Wellness Redefined takes a one size fits all approach and if that approach does not work for you, they do not offer any recourse. I often found myself frustrated and was left feeling like an afterthought. The cherry on the sundae came from the fact that right after I signed up and spent all of this money, I saw on their Instagram that they are now offering an all inclusive package that will include testing/supplements, so that’s great for someone else but wasn’t an option for me. I wish I would have opted to do the tests on my own, since the discussion of my results was so unhelpful that I spent hours researching them on my own anyway. I asked repeatedly about certain aspects of my results only to be told I would need to follow up with my PCP or that the information they gave me was “out of the scope of their practice to discuss with me.” Overall, I have felt like this experience was not worth my time or money. The value was not there for me, and I am terrified that I have caused more issues for myself than I ever had to begin with. I would not recommend this service. I wanted to be a believer in functional medicine but this experience has left me skeptical.

I found Wellness Redefined at a very dark point in my life and didn't know where else to turn. I had developed a lot of anxiety and fear about my health issues and was petrified with fear that it would get worse. From day one, Ebony was patient, kind, and supportive while helping me figure things out. Her approach to health not only helped me make huge strides with my healing but also helped alleviate my anxiety and gave me a newfound confidence that I could and would get better.

Everyone I worked with took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored a personalized treatment plan that addressed not just my symptoms, but the root causes of my health issues. I joined the program during a probably unrealistic season that covered the holidays and it would have been almost impossible to stick to it due to the different opportunities for rich foods that adds to inflammation but with the support of Ebony and her team, despite my numerous fails at starting and continuing, I was able to not only lose weight in multiple double digits, I had some life saving realizations about myself and journey that will help as I continue on my journey. For example, I didn't know how badly constipated I was and that alone was a battle throughout the program. Ebony provided tips and strategies to help me with bowel movements each time. She and her team created an Atmospheres that allows you 'comes as you are.' There's a lot of resources, support and accountability to help you stay on your journey. The only person you need to get out of the way to your healing is you! Don't hesitate to join.
