All went very smoothley from start to finish .better price paid than the dealer who supplied 12 months earlier. Collected band on agreed time..very happy with service.

We buy touring caravans , As from the first call asking to sell my caravan .Danny was, and very helpful and efficient in all ways, From arranging a fast inspection and sale , Cannot complain, good to do business with them would higlhy reccommend.

I contacted WBTC I Was originally offered 8k for my Lunar Clubman SB. John turn up said there was major damp problem with the floor at the rear and subsequently reduced their offer. So not the best outcome but at the the end of the day its up to me if I accept what they tell me and take the offer.

What a genuinely pleasant experience! I had a problem with snapped handle for my jockey wheel and the guys at Inter-leisure found a spare for me and gave it to...no charge! Amazing! Nice to see some proper customer service for a change. Would highly recommend

Due to changes in our family circumstances, we had to sell a beloved caravan - WBTC treated us with respect and kindness, quickly agreeing on a price and coming to collect when it was convenient for us. It was a pleasure to work with both Danny and Ashley at a very hard time for us and would highly recommend them.

Didn’t even offer bottom trade value for my caravan. Don’t waste your time with this company sell private or keep until next year. They will try and convince your caravan is worth nothing and then retail £4-5k higher. Please don’t get ripped off by these buy low sell high companies?

Did the deal with Danny over the phone during a very pleasant and gentlemanly conversation during which I offered to send pictures of my caravan and the report form the last service, done a month previously.

Danny said he didn’t need to see them.

The deal was done and Danny emailed the agreement which I accepted.

When Ashley turned up to collect my van he examined it thoroughly and said he had found damp and that they would have to reduce their offer by £300 ‘to repair the problem’.

Ashley spoke to Danny who rang me and confirmed what Ashely had said.

Fortunately my service engineer, who was on site, discussed the matter with Ashely and then advised me that they were just using the ‘damp’ to justify reducing their offer.

I spoke to Danny who attempted to rationalise the £300 'reduction' but when I held firm, he agreed to the original price .. so the damp cannot have been such a problem after all???

… meanwhile Ashley was busy hitching up my van .. indication that they would be buying the van come what may?

What I gleaned from the conversation with Danny and Ashley was that this ‘try-on’ was just their normal practice and that it often worked!!?.

I'm 76 so presumably with people of around my age this tactic does work.

I’m happy to have sold my van and am happy with the eventual deal .. but not very happy about the way it was done in the end.

We were not sure about selling our caravan through the internet but it couldn't have gone smoother. Danny was very helpful and professional. We probably could have gotten more for it if we had sold it privately but we still got a good price without all the hassle. The money went directly into our bank account. The gentleman that checked and collected was also very friendly. It was sad to see our caravan go after many years of caravanning but it was made so much easier by a smooth transaction.

I would recommend this company. Very professional, very fair price offered for age of caravan. Arranged to collect the caravan and arrived on time and very friendly. Good procedures in place to check you are the actual owner, do not take caravan until they have confirmation money has transferred into your account.

My thanks to Danny and his team for the recent sale of our caravan. From the original point of contact to the final inspection and collection was completely hassle free. Unfortunately there were issues with my van that I was unaware of. Once pointed out and the price agreed it was simple, money in my bank in minutes. WBTC are very professional and above all, fair. The positive reviews on this site do not reflect my own experience of doing business with WeBuyTouringCaravans. First off, the person who arrived to inspect my caravan was not an employee of WBTC, but introduced himself as an independent 'engineer' working on behalf of the company. He told me he was purely an impartial valuer, and played no part whatsoever in the sale or valuation. He claimed not even to know how much WBTC had offered me (£2,600, 'subject to inspection'). My caravan was in outstanding condition for its year (2004). I'd paid £5,000 for it and owned it just 5 months. Despite this, following his inspection, the 'engineer' declared that it had failed a damp test and was beyond 'economic repair'. He showed me the red light on his damp meter, which he said was 'off the scale'. This surprised me greatly, as I'd spent several weeks living in the caravan during February (the wettest on record!) without experiencing any sign of damp whatsoever, either visible or to the touch (beyond a very small area of discolouration at the base of on one window, which was easily removed). He said he would 'write up his report' and send it to WBTC, who would then phone me. He then disappeared inside his Range Rover. Ten minutes later I received a call from WBTC. They repeated what I'd already been told, that my pristine caravan was essentially a write-off, but they could offer me £1,000 to take it away today (the 'independent engineer' would pay me in cash). They said that no reputable dealer would be able to sell it without a 'Caravan Damp Report'. I've since looked into this and, even if the 'engineer' was correct about the damp meter reading - which I question - it would only have been classed as Stage 1. This is the expert advice regarding Stage 1 damp, taken from an independent website: "At this point any ingress/damp is not visible and can only be detected using a moisture meter. During this stage only a reseal is required, most commonly windows or awnings rails. Not uncommon in caravans only a few years old." WBTC knew they were coming to inspect a 16-year-old caravan, and the chances of it registering 100% damp-free would be highly unlikely. I accepted their offer with a heavy heart, and ONLY because I had no choice, as my caravan was being stored on a friend's land and had to be moved immediately. I was not offered a receipt for the sale, and when I asked for one - surprise, surprise - it bore the name and details of the 'independent impartial valuer', and NOT WBTC. It turned out I'd just sold my caravan to very person who'd written it off! I was choked! I'll leave readers of this review to draw their own conclusions as to my experience. Personally, however, I would not recommend this company.
