I contacted them via email on the 23rd of May as my order which was shipped on the 10th of May hadn't arrived. I've sent several follow up emails and also used the contact form on their website, but no one has replied. 10 days has now passed with no reply, which is extremely concerning.

Update: 13th June.
They finally replied on the 5th of June and said that my original email from the 23rd of May had gone in to their spam folder. They promised they would ship a replacement that day, but 9 days have passed and I've not received it yet. They also asked me to remove my 1 star review in exchange for a 50% off discount code. I felt uncomfortable with this and said I would be happy to update my review once the replacement arrived. As it still hasn't, and now I'm no longer receiving replies again, maybe they will see this and help me. My review is a reflection of the issues I've had so far though, and I can see I'm not the only one who has had problems with this company.

Update: 20th June.
I received an email from the co-founder of the company and was promised a refund last week. No refund received as yet, and no reply to my email either. I just want this resolved as I'm sick of chasing this up.

I bought the DAME reusable sanitary towels. I’ve been using reusable towels for the last 5 years which have been bamboo ones. These just don’t compare. I don’t have heavy periods but I’m constantly worrying about leakage (and have had accidents) as they don’t hold very much. The one advantage is that they are slim so might be beneficial for those with very light period or for the last day or two. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they are just not fit for purpose.

I bought the starter tin in Waitrose and it has the applicator missing!
Not impressed as it was expensive.

Absolute scam company. They do not honour their discounts, and have repeatedly tried to charge my card. Avoid!

Tried out some of the Dame re-usable period products and am so impressed with the quality of the pads and applicator.
I use a combination of cup, tampons and pads and am so pleased to have been able to replace nearly all the disposable/plastic period products in my routine. The Dame tampons are organic cotton, so contain no plastic or chemicals like some others.
Their customer service response was quick and helpful as I had some questions before I placed the order.

The Reusable Applicator is super easy to use, exactly the same as the disposable only you load it yourself. I've found that since switching to their tampons I've had a lot less cramping! Makes me wonder what's in other tampons :O

Love the reusable pads and panties, and the organic biodegradable sanitary tampons that come with a reusable applicator.

There was 3 weeks I ordered in this website, but I haven't received my order. I writed then next week but I haven't got any answer. I'm very dissapointed, I'm finally heard from them around 13 o'clock. The warehouse changed. I'll received my order a the end of this week or next week. The delivery it's very long, around 1 month.

Why oh why does it take almost two weeks to receive my tampons?

My period is long gone now so a completely pointless purchase.

Not one update from customer services either. Pretty bad considering your website says orders within the UK take 3-5 days. Not impressed.

Having moved back to Austria from the UK I discovered that applicators for tampons are nonexistent here. So I went ahead and ordered the reusable applicator from DAME. In the first attempt, the parcel unfortunately got lost/stuck at customs and didn't arrive. When I messages DAME., they responded promptly, sorted out the shipping problem and offered me 30% refund for the delay.

After the product got sent out again, it arrived within 3 days and, what can I say? I absolutely love the applicator. It's super easy to use & clean and works with ever tampon size. It took me a few tries to get used to it but now it's just like every other applicator I have ever used. Can 100% recommend both the company and the applicator.

Placed an order on 18th January, it’s Been nearly 4 weeks, it hasn’t even been dispatched.
Customer service providing no updates.
You’d be wise staying away from this company and not wasting your time with them.

I ordered the Reusable Tampon Applicator and Organic Tampon set and, as strange as it sounds, I now look forward to my periods because I love DAME products so much. I've already seen a difference in soreness, headaches, and discomfort since using their products. Everything is so well designed, comfortable, and sleek. AND I'm spending much much less money on period products every month. 100% recommend.

This product is absolutely amazing!!! I’ve been having to use pessaries (similar shape/size to tampons) and each day I dreaded putting them in. The DAME applicator has completely changed that - it’s made it a complete breeze! Super smooth, doesn’t irritate me or chafe like cardboard applicators do. I’ve recommended it to so many people already!

I’ve been using DAME tampons and pads for a couple of months now. I’m very sensitive to tampons and these are the only ones where I don’t have a reaction - I’m so grateful to them for bringing out such an awesome, toxic free tampon! As for the pads, they’re so smooth and it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing one which is such a welcomed feeling. I’m always super conscious about leaking but they make me feel safe and secure all day. Thank you for creating the best period products out there!

I ordered DAME’s products just over a month ago and I’m so upset I couldn’t have ordered them over 10 years ago when I started getting periods! Can’t believe I’ve wasted 10 years worth of tampon applicators 😢

Only used for one period but I honestly can’t imagine not having the reusable applicator in my life from now on. It’s incredibly easy to use with no faff and I feel good knowing I’m not contributing negatively to the environment. I bought the set with the travel bag and it’s so easy to just pop that in my bag. No matter how small my bag is it fits and it’s so nice not having the hassle of carrying around lots of big & bulky tampons.

I’ve literally recommended DAME to everyone I know, not only for the environmentally friendly aspects but also for the ease of the reusable tampon applicator.

Honestly do yourself a favour and buy that set, it’s worth every penny.

How have I only just discovered DAME’s reusable pads? I have been a cup user for the past two years, but always hated having to sleep with the cup in. The pads allow me to sleep comfortably at night whilst also still doing my bit for the planet… a real game changer!

Life-changing period products. The Pads are super comfy and you can't even tell you are wearing a pad, which is very refreshing compared to other pads which tend to rustle quite loudly and be uncomfortable when wearing for long periods of time.

I have to say I really wanted to like the organic tampons, because the idea was cool, but I am rather disappointed.

They swell up very uncomfortably and give me bad stomach cramps which I never experience with normal tampons at all.

The absorbency is indisputably inferior to high street tampon brands, the Dame tampons leak through in half the amount of time a mainstream tampon lasts, yes cost much more and take a while to arrive.

After 3 days of trying them out I give up and I will be throwing them away.

So damn happy with my products. I have both the pad and the D applicator. Such game changers. I love the clear conscience I get with the bin in my loo not being so full of rubbish round that time of the month.

I used the pads and they are so great i’ve ordered more. The day pad really did last all day. I was amazed how absorbent it was. They are soft and a much nicer feel on my skin compared to disposable pads. I would highly recommend. The dry bag is also very cool.
