Rioja - April 2026
I visited Rioja with Waud Wines in April 2026 on one of their organised wine tours. This was my second trip with them and, once again, it surpassed expectations. Quite apart from Rioja being a great place to visit, the organisation of the trip was first class - the quality of some of the wine that we tasted was fantastic, but the "all round" experience through from quality of hotel, restaurants, and the blend of company on the tour was, once again, first class.

Good wines and good service
The couriers have twice delivered to a neighbour however the Waud Wines staff have taken this on board and now ensure that my deliveries are dropped to a safe address.
The taster cases are always interesting and I'm beginning to place orders for specific wines as a direct result of sampling at the taster stage.

Good selection at fair prices
I was looking for a particular vintage of a particular UK wine that seemed to be out of stock everywhere including the wineyard. I did find the odd bottle online at vastly elevated prices. Waud had three bottles of the correct vintage at a fair price, made even more attractive with a £30 first time buyer voucher - quick delivery - very impressed
