Absolutely terrible customer service, website is misleading and does not tell you that they ordered this product from an overseas manufacturer. They have no control on shipping times, they’re happy to take your money and charge your card or form of payment and then have no real date for the arrival of the aquarium or product. Called and got the worst customer service ever didn’t even need to complete the sentence before they canceled the order for the second time, the first time they canceled the order and didn’t even let us know they canceled the order.. bad company bad product bad customer service. These people are upfront for some type of Chinese or overseas product. Advise against making a purchase from them

I can't say much about the product since I've been waiting over 2 months for the aquarium to arrive. They first shipped a damaged one 6 weeks after my order. Then, after several weeks of waiting, I was scheduled to receive my order yesterday, and was notified that it was damaged again, so it was returned to them. I am afraid that at this rate, all fish will evolve into land animals before I have the aquarium!

Been almost 3 months since placing an order with no update. They said 6-8 weeks. That was a lie.
Buy from another brand. After reading all the negative reviews on here about how bad their stands are, I'm not looking forward to it, if this ever arrives.

I will NEVER order another product from Waterbox.

They gave a firm shipment date. Two months went by and there was no update from Waterbox. I Finally got the product over two months from the guaranteed arrival date.

I paid up for what I thought would be a good quality stand from Waterbox. Ikea or any other junk from Amazon is far better. One of the doors to the cabinet fell off within days. Waterbox claimed it was due to me having installed it incorrectly. Not the case. This is after I suffered through their horrific instructions. Their product is simply overpriced and poorly designed particle board. They sent me some junk anchors to fix the detached door. The anchors they shipped me are also complete garbage.

Horrible product. Horrible customer service. All at a premium price. Never, Ever again.

I purchased a 230.6 in 2017 . Was told the stand was made of marine ply & had a water proof coating on it . Now the stand is showing signs of swelling in some areas . Turns out it’s MDF sheeting , not ply at all . Not happy at all 👎

I’m reaching out regarding an issue I’ve encountered with my Waterbox aquarium. I understand that ultra-low iron glass is softer than standard glass and may be more prone to scratching. However, I’ve noticed visible scratches occurring from extremely light and routine use — for example, simply repositioning a plastic frag rack — with no abrasive materials or mishandling involved.

I was informed that scratches are considered normal wear and tear, but after reviewing your warranty terms, I could not find any mention of scratches being excluded from coverage. In fact, your warranty clearly states that it covers defects in materials and workmanship, and excludes only damage due to misuse, mishandling, neglect, or unauthorized repairs. None of these apply in my case.

Given the minimal contact that led to these scratches, I’m concerned there may be an issue with the glass quality or durability in this particular unit. This seems less like typical wear and more like a potential material issue.

I would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be escalated for further review. I’m also happy to provide photographs or videos to support my case if helpful.

It’s a shame to have to write a bad review for a company, however, Waterbox doesn’t back the products they sell. I purchased two tanks from them along with a bunch of supporting equipment. Out of the box one of my AI Hydra 32s did not work and Waterbox refused to address it, I had to contact AI directly and pay for shipping to get the light replaced.

I don’t know of a retailer where you buy goods and that turn out to be defective and they tell you tough luck, find the manufacturer and take care of it with them.

I ordered a waterbox clear 4820. Shipped within 2 weeks, build quality is outstanding. Best aquarium builders on the market.
