The sessions are really tailored well, water safety is a key lesson a lot of babies/children would miss out on so we love that about water babies. The sessions are fun interactive and build confidence which is important.

We absolutely love our lessons with Water Babies. We have an excellent teacher who really knows her stuff. My eldest is coming to the end of his time at WB and he is so confident in the water now and able to swim on his own

Amazing group, the teachers really take time to get to know your child and make the swimming experience the best they can to build their confidence in the water. We’ve had a few different swim teachers due to illness and moving to a different pool, but each teacher is as good as the last. Would 100% recommend to any other parents/ carers who want to get their child/ children into swimming and creating an awareness on water safety!!

Trying to use credits are difficult with too few options available locally for there age group

I couldn’t recommend Water Babies more highly! Both of my children are water-confident, safe, and absolutely love swimming, which is incredibly reassuring living in Devon with so much access to water. It’s an even bigger bonus when we’re on holiday! We’ve been so lucky to have Jessie as our teacher. She’s absolutely brilliant, always bringing energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of laughs to every lesson. The children adore her, and her positive approach has helped make swimming such a fun and rewarding experience for them. Thank you, Jessie and Water Babies, for helping our children develop such an important life skill while having so much fun along the way!

We’ve been doing water babies with our daughter now for over 2.5yrs and watching her confidence in the water grow has been amazing!
Not only that, she has learnt water safety skills which are so important. The teachers are lovely and the lessons have a slight structure to them, so the children know what to expect. They’re half hour long, so they don’t lose focus during the lesson or get cold. I now have a 3 month old who I will also be signing up soon.

Emily is great ! The children adore her ! Waterbabies is very exspensive compared to another local swim lesson provider, however I feel that Emily does provide that level of teaching that I don’t feel we would get from another class. If however, we were to loose Emily I feel the other aspects of waterbabies such as pricing, poor facilities at the brainwave centre (having to park in a near by muddy layby and cross a very busy road whilst trying to carry a baby/ small child ( sometimes in the rain) , hairdryers, shower facilities, changing facilities may lead to us looking for another provider. I don’t feel the price per lesson reflects the standard of facilities at brainwave but does currently reflect the level of Emily’s instruction.

Excellent teaching and friendly environment. Our child has gone from 4 months old and is now nearly 3. He has an amazing water confidence, growing understanding of safety and total love for swimming!

Since starting lessons with Jessie, the difference has been amazing. She is incredibly patient, excellent with children, and has been fantastic with my daughter.

Jessie creates such a calm, welcoming environment that makes both children and parents feel comfortable and at ease. My daughter has grown so much in confidence in the water, and it’s clear how much care and dedication Jessie puts into every lesson. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and enjoyable swimming experience for their child.

Absolutely brilliant. Lessons are structured, trainers are always lovely and welcoming. My boy is always happy to go and wants to come back.

My 14 months old started when she was 6months and she loves her swimming lessens with Emma! 🤍

I love how structured these lessons are. My eldest who is now 3 has progressed so much. We did try elsewhere for a few months and it was no where near the standard taught by waterbabies. My 1 year old also does lessons to, again progression on those we love. The teachers we have had have been wonderful.

I take my son here for his swimming lessons and have been since he was 12 weeks old. I go to the Taunton holiday inn pool and Jessie is our instructor. The classes are really well structured, for learning water safety and lots of swimming and fun too! Jessie is wonderful, she is so good with both the babies and the grown ups. My son absolutely loves her and the swimming. To begin with he didn't like the water but going to weekly classes has allowed him to feel safe in the water and enjoy it with the help of Jessie. We learn something new each week and are constantly progressing in the pool. It is a bit pricey but I would say it's well worth it. I did take my little one to a cheaper alternative and it was no where near as good.
If you're looking for swimming then this will be the right place for you. I myself was scared of my baby being in the water but it's given me the confidence with him which is a huge path in my son's confidence too! We will be here for the foreseeable future. Thanks water babies 💜

Amazing teacher Jessie, adapts every skill to individual children. Listens to the child and doesn't expect them to do anything they don't want to do.
Dexter has progressed massively in his confidence in the water, he is able to follow instructions (most of the time) and loves his swimming lessons with Jessie!.
