the sites performance is genuinely atrocious and my account is mark as "norecomend" which is genuinely annoying making the site even more unusable than it already is as i cannot change my email let alone delete my account which is incredibly annoying like who is running this site i want to let them know that their site sucks

Love the website but rn I can't get past the human part

I want to let everyone know about something that happened to me. Someone else was using the StoreVRModels website, where you can download avatars and upload them to your VR Chat profile. The other day, I saw an avatar, so I clicked the download link and it took me to a page that said, "Site closed by police for child pornography investigations, etc." I warned everyone in the comments section not to open that link, etc. Today, I received four warning symbols on my profile—basically, warnings and downgrades for describing it as fake and bullshit. The fact that I helped other users not open links and reporting a serious problem to everyone leads to warnings or messages saying your profile will be banned—that's absurd. Luckily, I recorded a video with my phone that day, so I tried it. So be careful on that site; it's not normal to receive bans or warnings after reporting a very serious problem in a comment.

They IP banned me and then declined to give me a reason as to why. Its okay because the website is very slow and shitty anyways. Find models elsewhere don't use this website.

It's good and easy for getting avatars for free and safely, over than that the website is pretty mediocre. The servers that run the website are hilariously slow, with literally just trying to open the website taking upwards of a minute, that is if the server hosting it doesn't crash for the 10th time that day. And somehow this server is an "upgrade" from the previous one... also there's a VRModels account or whatnot that's an "AI", but it's a real human just shitposting on people who don't know anything.

VRmodels is honestly great, with its only downside being that its very slow due to how much data the servers have to constantly process. Apart from its speed its amazing, I've uploaded quite a lot of avatars from here and i know it can be a hassle to use but its 100% worth it instead of paying these overpaying lunatics that make avatars for a "living."

I used the website, I admit, but finally, it decided to give up and it is giving 503 GATEWAY errors, that's a sign. I will start paying for shit cause this website is sketch as hell now, and I will remove shit that I got from here from my avi lol, screw this.

Its a Ripper store that illegally gives out content that require payment for free. and blocks creators on purpose and doesnt respond, nor DMCAs, as they block IPS when DMCAs are sent. also never trust a free source, back doors can be made threw the unity projects that you download, and youd never know

It works, but is SO slow and has been for at least a couple years. They MUST fix it.

A "ripper" site, for users to post content that they purchased elsewhere to then have users freely download. I would guess hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stolen content goes through vrm each year at the lower end.

To be honest, this site is the GOAT. Its kinda sad just how many people believe that 3d models have some sort of monetary Value (They Don't). I like to use models from this site for the porn I make occasionally.

Site works surprisingly well, can reliably download models. I was initially skeptical but there were no signs of malware.

Considering how Gumroad banned certain content, this is the only way for me to get the models.

Slow website, Stolen avatars (AGAINST THEIR OWN TERMS OF SERVICE MIND YOU), had to use a VPN to even sign up in the first place because they not only accused my email of spam, but also said I already had another account on my IP address...? (Suspicious as hell I would say since I'd never heard of this website until then.)
That's clearly a measure of some kind to limit snooping around.

Customer Sevice is HORRIBLE, Do not try to get support, they will not help and they dont even follow their own TOS!!!!

I once downloaded a model from vrmodels and it caused my whole bank account information to be leaked. Because I downloaded a model from vrmodels, a virus got downloaded too and I had to change all my passcodes to my accounts. Even now, I still struggle with the repercussions of using vrmodels. DO NOT DOWNLOAD MODELS FROM THIS SITE THEY WILL GIVE YOU VIRSUS!

Put a virus in my computer and I had to do a factory hard reset. Absolutely do not use this.
