Customer for several years, they were responsive most of the time, then in May 2024 my service ended prior to my true expiration date and I contacted customer support, they said at that time that someone would review and get back with me, I waited about 36 hours and then just renewed accepting the loss of 2 months of service, I renewed for a two year term and all seemed well, acceptable loss of 2 months ?? But then just 1 month later everything was shut down, no access to service, support, or chat services. Nothing they now owe me for 26 months of service because I was forced to find another provider. THEFT

I used this service for 6 years in which 5 of those years they had excellent customer service and very good VPN servers. This last year customer service went from being excellent to shocking nonexistent service. A couple servers had started shutting down and they never came back on with no response from customer service. Then yesterday on June 20th all the servers and the website can't be reached and totally shut down. Luckily I only 3 months left to end the service. Now its time to find a new VPN service.

No support, no response, all the contacta emails are dead, European servers are down. If they went bankrupt, at least they should have announced it. Avoid them!!!

Update: I got my money back (NO THANKS TO VPNAREA!) after making a fraud case about it with the payment company I used to purchase the vpn service.
Review: It was good at start then connection problems happened upon renewal. I waited a whole week for them to fix the issue with my dedicated ip address. Then I waited beyond their 48 hours refund period and I am still waiting. I qualify since they have 30 day money back and I paid 3 years service. Give me back my money please. It's been a long and frustrating wait. $279 taken in hostage. Customer support says they are not the team in charge of refunds. What a joke. Been with them for a long time. Had ups and downs but one week without being able to connect could have costed me my job. I wish them the best to get back up but right now they need a better customer support. The one you chat live with has no other function than to copy paste general info and then forward any problem to the other team that can do something potentially about your issue but never does like other reviews seem to point out.

Used them for three years, never had an issue. Now renewed and my dedicated IP stopped working. Contacted support daily for 3 weeks straight without getting any update or solution. Requested my money back as it was not an autorenewal and haven't heard from them since. Really bad customer service!

All was good until a couple of weeks ago.
NOW :
Complete lack of proactive response.
Account is locked out and no assistance to resolve despite screen chats and false promises.
Fixed IP will not connect and they fail to or cant fix, but same lack of response.
2 hours in IT is a long time 4 weeks is a lifetime.
There stock on line answer seems to be ( we sent you a email ) NO YOU DID NOT We have full control over routing and email servers and there are no traces of anything after the 11/04/24 which was a automated message.
CONCLUSION :
We can receive email from your company you are not sending it.
TO CONCLUDE :
You have proved to be a waste of time and are not able to provide the service that you have been paid for in advance ( 3 Year subscription )

Avoid that company!!!!!!!. The company forces autorenew to your bank/paypal account and they claimed that they will just cancel it if you ask them to do so. I asked them to cancel the autorenew and they ignored me. So I asked for a refund which they insure me that will happened after 3 working days. I had to contact the ECC with a complain to get my money back, excluding the transaction fees, better than nothing. When the ECC contact them they claimed that they would return the money anyway, which is REALLY hard to believe since ALL their claims was NOT delivered. AVOID

My vpn provider was acquired last year and issues started, so I switched to VPNArea after a friend recommended and I am happy - price was lower and servers are solid. Had to setup on asus so i contacted live chat, they spoke proper english and knew their stuff

Customer service said it will be fixed in 24 hours, Never heard from them agian and never got my money back.
They offer products that they cant sell this is a pure SCAM!
I will never use any VPN without trials periods agian.

This company is criminal
This company is criminal. I signed up for one year through paypal. Unbeknownst to me, it set up a recurring billing cycle, as many of the other reviews have mentioned.
"I'm afraid we base our pricing on the amount of subscription we have and the expected revenue to
come from them, thus we're unable to offer any refunds beyond the money back guarantee period."
This is the flimsiest excuse for not providing a refund.
This company banks on the fact that you won't cancel a reoccurring subscription until they've already charged you.
