Fell down this rabbit hole and got bitten with this one. Never in my life have I come across a site that will not let you withdraw your own money, and I’ve played a few! You have to wager your whole deposit before you can take it out again!!! Absolute robbery! Minimum deposit AND withdrawal is £20 so you have to hope you are still above that figure after you have wagered it all or you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place....spend it all or add another £20 of your hard earned money to lose that as well.

Site is also slow and throws you out. Got 20 free spins on joining...won 21p - I think you get the picture. Nothing good to say from me I’m afraid Volt City. Sort it out.

It’s sites like this that make me question what the Gambling Commission actually does.

Stay away!!! There are plenty of casinos that will let you lose money all on your own, but this one will make sure you do from the moment you put money in.

Once upon a time Volt offered sports and free bets, now it's purely casino and their latest idea is to create Volt City.

You basically have to wager real money on slots to generate crystals without which your city cannot grow. The idea is to create special buildings which can generate free cash spins.

There is one crystal mine already in place, but it cannot be upgraded, and creates a tiny 10 crystals an hour.

BEWARE of this game. I foolishly wagered through £40.00 (and lost £10.00) to get some crystals to help me create something called a Plasma Dome, which gave me a paltry 25 free spins on Starburst. Then, without warning, the sole crystal mine stopped working and become obsolete. So the only option I was left with was to either carry on stupidly gambling to create crystals, or close my account.

I chose the latter. This city builder is a very slippery slope indeed, and it is a complete con. It dangles a carrot in front of your nose, but you never quite reach it - unless you gamble recklessly. The requirements to advance your city are ludicrous, and it is very cleverly geared to force you to run out of crystals very quickly, therefore urging you to do more gambling.

I urge people to STAY AWAY from it.

Another thing I don't like is that Volt's terms say you have to wager through any of your deposit at least once, and the minimum withdrawal is £20.00. No UK based online casino or bookmaker would have such punitive terms.

I had a small balance in my account, and rather than deposit more money for it then to be wagered, and possibly lost, I found it preferable to close my account.

I honestly advise YOU to do the same.

rubbish site very slow and awful bonus which i wouldn't even bother with. You are only allowed to withdraw twice in one day which is absolutely ridiculous i have never had this on any site. My advice is dont use.

Terrible customer service, wagered over £250 on various offers, no bonus' were credited. Customer service as always can never help. Poor show from an online Casino that will no doubt be gone in the near future.

Volt City has now been introduced instead of their usual free spins offers. It's a fun game to play and a great concept BUT, and it's a huge but, the game is incredibly expensive and predatory. You need to wager obscene amounts of money to get any rewards and those rewards are GARBAGE! To put it in perspective I have wagered well over £10,000 and I have received about £20 worth of free spins, that's 0.2% which is shocking! To add to that the daily challenges are all on the nastiest high variance slots so you will be down and down alot most of the time, what's more is that the mystery boxes from the challenges don't contain any free spins! I'm hoping they will adjust the rewards because you absolutely cannot play this ftp you will have to wager money to continue to get free spins.

My advice is leave well alone until they make it more rewarding to play, as it stands you will lose a lot of money.

It still remains you will have to wager thousands to get a crack at 12, 20 or 35 free spins. Very, very expensive.

Tried to log on At Volt once and it didn't go well, but then i found a great offer on a leading site and thought id try again. OMG they must have listened to what people said as i didn't have a problem with anything and i spend hours playing :)

This casino has taken funds from a very vulnerable person. The person is not only self-excluded but also very vulnerable. Casino let him deposit large sums without any prior checks and to play constantly for over 24 hours non-stop. If that does not ring alarm bells then what does!

I can't even locate a phone number or who the CEO is.

A well-known media source in the UK is interested in our story, I feel we have no choice in the matter, but to go public. I find it shocking that vulnerable people can be taken advantage off and funds drained from their bank accounts.

Unfortunately, if the Casino will not return funds & cooperate then I do intend to go public as well as all legal avenues available to us.

Joined today says it's a sports book site aswell. I play mainly only blackjack and occasionally had a flutter on the horses. Blackjack game crashed twice just as I was getting my mojo and to get the sports book to load you need a miracle to understand. Says on contact options email or by phone yet no phone no.

Then tried to withdraw money wouldn't let me was about to email them then I figured it out.

Then logged back on forgot password they sent reset email password only about 40 characters long nightmare.

So as it stands I locked out of my account and only joined like 2 hrs ago time now is 21.22pm

I tried on numerous devices (desktop, iPad, Samsung tablet, mobile phone etc) using about 5 different operating systems. Each time when it came to the last step of registering, the website page would go no further. I emailed Volt and uploaded screenshots etc to show them where the fault was occurring and said that I had emptied my cache and cleared cookies on all of the devices I had tried to register on. They said that they would contact me regarding this issue.
Three weeks later and having heard nithing I tried again on 2 of the devices and the same issue kept arising.
I contacted them again and was told that due to security checks I was not allowed to register with them. Am I a member of ISIS or wanted by Interpol or something?
I asked what the security checks were and was told that they cannot disclose the exact nature of the checks.
What a COMPLETE JOKE OF A COMPANY THIS LOT ARE. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I bet it's a nightmare getting winnings out of them!
I've had to give them 1 star otherwise the review would not get published but in reality my score is -1* (minus 1 star) I'm NOT impressed.
