Very enjoyable coffee
Currently making espresso using the The Mount Blend beans - very enjoyable, easy-drinking, coffee. No issues with delivery. Very recent roast date. Reasonable price.

The best DeCafe I have found
For the past year, I have had a subscription for the DeCafe beans. For the taste of a good coffee in the afternoon that is not going to disrupt my sleep this is my goto.
I have tried several brands and for DeCafe this is my favourite.

Compostable Pods did not work with nespresso machine
Tried with L'or machine which is in theory nespresso compatible.
Then bought a Grind machine and I am still ahving the same issue.
I am losing 1 pod out of 2!

Hi Jason, I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with our pods. I would recommend you give the pods a good shake before inserting them into the machine and purge water through the machine in between each pod, it helps heat up the machine and get it ready for your pod. If it's not piercing well try and push down hard after you've put the pod in. The compostable material that we use might have a bit thicker film than the other pods you have tried. If none of these work please do send us a message on orders@volcanocoffeeworks.com and we'll sort something for you. Would also love to know which Nespresso machine you do have so we can log this. Speak soon!

Delicious freshly roasted coffee
Delicious freshly roasted coffee, with an amazing flavour profile and not too heavy a caffeine kick. Think I've found my new coffee supplier

Something has changed.:./
The quality of the coffee has dropped drastically. Such a shame, it was my favourite, but the last two deliveries have been very disappointing. A big change in the flavour and performance of the beans.

Citrus spritz was not for me...
Ordered the special edition citrus spritz and although passable, I'm glad I didn't order more than one. I love the standard Mountain Blend, including the smell of the beans if I give the bag the odd squeeze, but, although some will love it, for me this one doesn't have the same effect on my nostrils or tastebuds.

Thanks for your review, Richard. Sorry to hear the Tropical Spritz wasn't quite for you! It's quite different from the Mount Blend - this coffee really comes to life when brewing it as a filter, a cafetiere will do perfectly if you have one lying around. As an espresso it might be slightly too bright! Let us know how you get on with that.

Mount Blend Coffee Pods
I buy the Mountain Blend Coffee Beans to use in my bean to cup machine at home and they are brilliant, but I work between 2 or 3 construction sites at a time and have Nespresso machines on each of them so thought I would try the same blend in their Coffee Pods and have been left very disappointed.
I don't know if it is something to do with the compostable design, but they just get stuck in the machine and you never get the correct amount of water coming through them. I have tried them in 2 different Nespresso machines (different models of machine too) so far and have had the same problem.
Just to check it wasn't the machine, I switched back to Nespresso pods and had no issues.
Such a shame as their coffee is really good, but this clearly needs looking at and improving.

Hi Matt. I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with our pods. Just checking if you've tried some of these tips to get them to work a bit better: give the pods a good shake before inserting them into the machine and purge water through the machine in between each pod, it helps heat up the machine and get it ready for your pod. If it's not piercing well try and push down hard after you've put the pod in. The compostable material that we use might have a bit thicker film than the other pods you have tried. Let me know if any of these work for you and if not do drop us a message on orders@volcanocoffeeworks.com so we can sort either a replacement or a refund. Speak soon!

Quality coffee
Just an exceptional service and some of the most flavourful coffees I’ve had in recent years. I’m currently working my way through the different varieties of bean on offer but the Delta Blend is an absolute winner.
One ask: different designs of coffee tins so I can house my Volcano collection 😀
Would totally recommend.
