Pia made booking my Trip to Antarctica and my side trip to Iguazu really easy, she was responsive and provided clear options so I could personalise my experience. On the trip everything worked like clockwork, including transfers and airline changes. It's clear Viva have a great relationship with their partner operators.

This is the second trip (Boliva, Chile & Argentina) I have booked with Viva Expeditions, the first being to Antarctica.
Both trips were well organized and truly bucket list destinations.
A big shout-out to Pia Knarston for helping us coordinate a very challenging itinerary, a demanding 22-day adventure covering 3 countries, visiting a multitude of remote sites. From issuing advice on the itinerary to consistent follow ups during the trip, her attention to details is spot on.

I had an absolutely incredible experience booking my Antarctica Expedition, the dream journey of my life through Viva Expeditions.
A huge shout-out to Pia Knarston. Planning a journey to such a remote and unique destination can be overwhelming, but Pia made it so simple and stress-free. She took care of every things inluding every single little thing, from cruise booking to hotel and flight booking.
The trip itself exceeded all expectations, an unforgettable adventure with breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, and experiences I will cherish for a lifetime. None of this would have been possible without Pia.
If you are planning a trip of a lifetime, Viva Expeditions is highly recommended; you’ll be in excellent hands.

I like that the drivers and guides were professional knowledgeable honest people to look after us.

Was great at organising multiple tours into a single itinary and making sure transfers etc where all taken care of.

One thing to keep in mind was Viva was booking these tours through other tour providers, where some of them also then booked with a seperate provider. Between them, our travel agent and the other two agencies... there are a lot of people clipping the ticket on what you pay.

We had a great time and thought the value was there, but I think Viva needs to build more direct relationships with the end tour operators.

We so enjoyed our trip to Mexico with Viva Expeditions. Everything was top-notch, including all of our guides, hotels, food, and experiences. Our Signature Mexico in Depth with the inclusion of the Butterfly Sanctuary tour, Bonampak, and Yaxchilan, were incredible: truly a once in a lifetime, priceless experience.

Being in our mid seventies, we asked our travel agent to organise a trip to Brazil and Argentina to tie in with a cruise we were doing to Antarctica. Our agent used Viva Expeditions to organise it for us and the itinerary turned out to be perfect. We were travelling with another couple and the husband had a walking and balance issue and had a prosthetic arm. All our transport had to be wheelchair friendly and the accommodation had to have walk in showers etc. Viva organised all this exceptionally well. All our day trips had excellent English speaking guides who all turned up exactly on time in roomy air conditioned vans with excellent drivers, they were very accommodating for our needs, souvenir shopping, food and drink stops, etc.
Our trip turned out absolutely fantastic with no hassles, we had so much fun, we wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend Viva Expeditions to anyone.

The staff on this lovely ship were fantastic. They tailored every day to our needs and made our trip spectacular.

Flor always got back to me punctually. If she didn't know the answer to one of my many questions she'd find out and get back to me.

Viva and Bryony in particular, were fantastic. The Ross Sea Odyssey trip was to mark my retirement and be our "once in a lifetime" experience, and Viva were instrumental in organising and advising. The expedition thoroughly fulfilled our expectations, so thanks to you all.

Everything went very well. No snags or snafu.

Tara was very responsive to any email sent and worked with me, as I got the necessary medical approval that I could travel. However, I felt pressured to make a booking ASAP to secure a cabin, where in I found once on, that the ship was not fully booked. So, now I am questioning why I had to pay (abt 8K more) so much more than the going rate.

Thank you Tara for that really informative reply which shows that I had no idea about what fully goes on behind the scenes to visit such a very special place as the NZ Sub Antarctic Islands; and I am glad there are these conditions to protect these precious islands flora, fauna and environment.
Yes, those that paid less than me, had booked earlier than me, I obviously didn't know how pricing works for cruising. I hope your reply is kept by Trust Pilot, as I am sure many people looking at reviews will now have a better understanding how these expedition cruises work with regard to passenger numbers, permits etc. The cruise and experience was just amazing and a month later, I am still on a high from this wonderful experience.

Great guide and driver to/from Valparaiso and guide in Valparaiso

We were in trepidation about all the flights, connections and pickups associated with our tour booked by Viva however everything went as smoothly as it possibly could. We trusted their advice on what and how to do things and their recommendations suited us perfectly. Hotels were fabulous with excellent food and service. Would throughly recommend Viva

We had a wonderful trip to Chile, from the Atacama desert to Patagonia. Everything went smoothly. We were picked up on time, the guides were good and the day trips suggested to us were excellent. We enjoyed every minute. We highly recommend Viva expeditions.
